Sam Milby clarifies sighting with Camille Prats

Sam Milby on being spotted with Camille Prats: “That’s another problem in this business, if you’re not an artista and you see a girl and a guy hanging out, walang issue. Pero if two artistas hang out, nag-a-assume agad na may something na talaga. Everyone knows na best friends kami ni John and even Camille—we hang out, we get along."

Kumpirmado nang si Sam Milby ang magiging leading man ni Judy Ann Santos sa pagbabalik-teleserye ng aktres sa ABS-CBN. Ito ay sa kabila ng hayagang pagtutol ng manager ni Judy Ann na si Alfie Lorenzo.

Kasama ang serye nina Sam at Judy Ann sa mga bagong shows na iprinesenta sa nakaraang trade launch ng Kapamilya network.


Nang makausap ng PEP.ph (Philippine Entertainment Portal) si Sam sa studio ng ASAP 2012 noong Linggo, July 1, ay hiningi namin ang reaksiyon niya na ipinaglaban diumano siya ni Judy Ann kaya natuloy ang pagtatambal nila.

Ayon sa Fil-Am singer-actor, “Sobrang blessed ako of her stature to want to do a project with me.

“Grabe talaga, I can’t explain how blessed I am and I want to thank her for everything. I am excited to do this project.

“Right now, nag-aantay lang kami na mag-start na yung taping. Dapat nag-start na kami, pero I think may mga changes lang sa script.

“Nag-promo shoot na kami and happy ako na nung ipinalabas sa trade launch, maraming good feedbacks na nakarating sa amin.

“I know it’s a good project, ang ganda ng story, and siyempre this is my first project with Judy Ann Santos.”

PRESSURE, PRESSURE. Aminado si Sam na may pressure sa parte niya, lalo’t halos lahat ng seryeng pinagbidahan ni Judy Ann ay consistent na mataas ang ratings at tinanggap talaga ng publiko.

Saad niya, “There’s always pressure in any project, hindi mo alam kung ano ang mangyayari kahit na confident ka na maganda ang palabas.

“You just never know ang reaction ng tao, lalo na sa movie, kasi moviegoers are paying to watch—pero it’s the same thing with serye na there’s still pressure.

“But for me, it’s less pressure for the fact na alam ko kasama ko yung sobrang mahusay na aktres and powerhouse kami talaga.

“With Judy Ann, it gives me more confidence… not only because I am doing a project with her, but because alam kong marami akong matututuhan from her.

“But there’s also pressure because it’s our frist time to work together.

“Not that I’m worried if we’re able to work together, I know we can. But alam mo sa Pilipinas, uso ang mga loveteams.

“It’s a first-time loveteam, you don’t know what’s gonna happen kung tanggap yung tambalan namin o hindi.

“We had storycon, nag-shoot na ng teaser, we have the pilot week draft and sobrang ganda ng script.”

Sa palagay ba ni Sam ay makakaapekto sa pagtanggap ng mga tao sa tambalan nila ang pagiging pamilyadong tao na ni Judy Ann?

“We already shot the trailer and I think si Judy Ann, kahit naman sino ang ka-partner niya, it doesn’t matter.

“Magsa-shine at magsa-shine siya kasi she’s so easy to work with and she’s magaling talaga.

“Nagulat ako na nung when we’re shooting the trailer, siyempre first time, ang galing niya and ang dali niyang katrabaho.

“’Tapos nung teaser pa lang, grabe, trineat niya ang lahat ng staff and co-actors ng pizza! So sobrang bait din niya.

“Mabait talaga, mahusay, easy to work with. Magaan talaga trabaho at sa pakiramdam.”

CAMILLE PRATS. Lumabas sa PEP Alerts na namataan daw si Sam kasama si Camille Prats sa isang restaurant sa The Fort. Hindi naman ito itinanggi ni Sam.

Aniya, “Yes, we ate in a restaurant.

“Dumaan kami sa taping ni Pratty [John Prats, Camille’s brother] sa I Dare You and she just had a birthday too.

“And I wasn’t able to there on her birthday and I don’t see anything wrong with that.

“Best friend ko naman si John and, even me and Camille, we watch movie together with friends. We’re just friends.”

Sabi pa ni Sam, hindi dapat ito bigyan ng kulay.

“That’s another problem in this business, if you’re not an artista and you see a girl and a guy hanging out, walang issue.

“Pero if two artistas hang out, nag-a-assume agad na may something na talaga.

“Everyone knows na best friends kami ni John and even Camille—we hang out, we get along.

“Even with the whole family, I’ve gone there and have dinner.

“We hang out all the time, game nights din.”

GIRL FROM NEW YORK. Tinanong din ng PEP si Sam kung tuluyan na ba niyang iniwasan ang model-teacher na nakilala niya sa New York.

Sabi ni Sam, “Hindi kami masyadong nag-uusap, we haven’t talked for a while.

“I went to the States and I saw her, mga 15 to 20 minutes lang and that was it. We just… lakad-lakad lang and I went back.

“First of all, she’s in New York and may karelasyon na siya.

“Let’s see what happens when I go back to the States.

“I’m sure, sooner or later, we’re gonna get back in contact with each other but for me, friends lang.”

Sam Milby, naniniwala sa chemistry nila ni Judy Ann Santos

Excited na si Sam Milby para sa bago nilang teleserye ni Judy Ann Santos na pinamagatang Against All Odds dahil alam niya umano na magiging maganda ang chemistry sa pagitan nila ng batikang aktres. Sa ngayon ay abala pa sina Sam at Juday sa kanilang promo shoot. Masaya rin ang binatang aktor dahil ipinalabas na sa trade launch ang kanilang proyekto ni Judy Ann at nakatanggap naman ito ng magandang feedback.

Ito ang unang pagkakataon na makatrabaho ni Sam Milby si Judy Ann Santos at naniniwala siyang ito ay isang magandang proyekto para sa kaniya.

Naging makontrobersyal ang teleserye nina Sam at Juday dahil napabalita noon na hindi pumayag ang manager ng aktres na makatambal nito ang binata ngunit nadaan naman umano sa magandang usapan ang mga pangyayari. Sa huli ay pumayag naman si Tito Alfie sa bagong proyekto ni Judy Ann. Isang biyaya naman para kay Sam Milby ang proyektong ito dahil hanggang ngayon ay hindi pa rin siya makapaniwala na makakatrabaho niya ang establisado na aktres na si Judy Ann Santos. Gusto umano ipaalam ng binata kung gaano siya kasaya at ka-excited sa kanilang mga gagawin na magkasama.

Alam naman daw ni Sam na madaling katrabaho si Juday kung kaya hindi siya nag-aalala sa magiging working relationship nila sa serye. Dahil dito ay makikita rin naman daw ni Sam Milby ang magandang chemistry nila ng kaniyang bagong ka love team na si Judy Ann Santos. Naniniwala rin ang aktor na kahit sino ang maging partner ni Judy Ann ay magiging maganda pa rin ang takbo ng programa. Bukod sa magaan katrabaho ay isa rin umano itong magaling na aktres. Ikinuwento ni Sam na nagulat siya kay Juday nang gawin nila ang kanilang trailer dahil sa ipinakitang husay ng aktres sa harap ng kamera.

Ito ay magsisilbing comeback project nina Judy Ann at Sam Milby. Matatandaang matapos ang teleseryeng Kristala ng aktres sa Kapamilya network ay hindi na ito nasundan hanggang siya ay mag-asawa at manganak. Samantala ito naman ang bagong serye ni Sam matapos niyang pumunta sa Amerika para makipagsapalaran sa kaniyang career. Para kay Sam hindi naman daw maiiwasan na makaramdam ng pressure sa bawat trabahong ginagawa niya. Ayaw niya rin umanong mag-expect sa mga reaksyon ng tao sa kanilang pagtatambal ni Juday. Mababawasan naman daw ang pressure para kay Sam Milby dahil makakasama niya si Judy Ann Santos sa kaniyang trabaho.

Hello ate Gie and thanks again. I´m also happy I´ve met both of you here. The only thing I´m sad is that I live so far away from you all. I really would be happy to see you all. I have seen so many s great pics of Samsession´s and so sad I can´t be a part of your meetings. Anyway, I´m glad that you share those pics and I´m so happy to be a member of Milby Mob´s .
