Kimchi! because I like spicy food and it's a dish that is uniquely Korean.![]()
I do love jajangmyeon (though I know a Chinese influenced Korean dish) . I also fancy daenjang chige for the soup. And there's samgyeopsal, gimbap and japchae.

what is a korean meal without banchan (side dishes)
6-8 side dishes including sukjunamul - bean sprouts
sigeumchi namul - spinach
myulchibokkeum - anchovies
matang - potatoes
kong jang - soy beans but it can also be peanuts
kimchi kaktugi
kimchi kakdugi
Kalbi over kimchi rice.
Spicy bean sprouts as side dish.
Bibim bop.
Kimbap
TTEOKBOKKI!!! My ultimate favorite pero somewhere in the middle I end up finishing a liter of water haha NO REGRETS!
My favorite were the side dishes, namely Spinach and Bean Sprouts.
But every Korean restaurant I've been to lately is missing the one ingredient that made me fell in love with these side dishes in the first place and that's sesame oil.
Kimchi of food court fame used to serve their bean sprouts with the sesame oil pero matagal na nilang tinanggal iyon.
Kaya restaurant wala din.
Anyone know of a restaurant that serves bean sprouts with sesame oil?
I'm beginning to appreciate Korean food even more thanks to Bulgogi Bros, but I'm more on chapchae, kimbap, and tukbokki (yung parang penne noodles na hindi hollowed-out).
i love ramyun, tteokbokki, samgyapsal, kimbap, kimchi, samgyetang..
for desert..
*** songpyeon(tuwing thanksgiving day un mas marami kasi binibigay lang un lalo na kung nagwowowrk ka sa korean online english company)
gyeran-jjim
its a simple dish made out of just eggs and spicies in a steaming hot pot. watch it boil and cook in front of your eyes. never though scrambled eggs can be served like this.
sundae
jeju sundae
ojingero sundae
don't get confused. it not an ice cream concoction but it is rice stuffed pig intestine with blood (jeju sundae) or squid (ojingero sundae). so far, there is only one restaurant in the philippines that serves this dish and it is seasonal.
and they said, Filipinos are the only asians who enjoy eating intestines and blood
i love samgyupsal (pork belly) and Kimchi chigae (kimchi stew)!
SAM GYUP SAL ! TALO LAHAT XD haha
Anyway my other favorites are Dukboki (spicy rice cakes), Shin Ramyun, and Kimbab <3
Been into Korean cuisine lately. Of course, love ko ang free banchan, especially those from Sariwon
I like their Galbi too and Dolsto Bibimbap~ Yummy!
Even their Hameul Pajeon is super delish, sarap pa ng dipping sauce!
