I do love jajangmyeon (though I know a Chinese influenced Korean dish) . I also fancy daenjang chige for the soup. And there's samgyeopsal, gimbap and japchae.

My favorite were the side dishes, namely Spinach and Bean Sprouts.

But every Korean restaurant I've been to lately is missing the one ingredient that made me fell in love with these side dishes in the first place and that's sesame oil.

Kimchi of food court fame used to serve their bean sprouts with the sesame oil pero matagal na nilang tinanggal iyon.

    Kaya restaurant wala din.

Anyone know of a restaurant that serves bean sprouts with sesame oil?

    gyeran-jjim

its a simple dish made out of just eggs and spicies in a steaming hot pot. watch it boil and cook in front of your eyes. never though scrambled eggs can be served like this.

  17. #57

    sundae

    jeju sundae

    ojingero sundae

don't get confused. it not an ice cream concoction but it is rice stuffed pig intestine with blood (jeju sundae) or squid (ojingero sundae). so far, there is only one restaurant in the philippines that serves this dish and it is seasonal.

and they said, Filipinos are the only asians who enjoy eating intestines and blood
