mga ka PEX anong survey company ba talaga ang may credibility pagdating sa resulta ng TV ratings. is it AGB or KANTAR....BOTO MO I-POST MU....

Magkaiba ang resulta ng survery ng Kantar vs AGB huh ...kailangan pa ng pangatlong company na kukuha ng rating para malaman kung alin dyan ang totoo.

may paraan para makita ang mas credible na data.
ang tv ratings data ay paraan para maka-attract ng advertisers.
kaya tignan natin ang airtime revenue ng dalawa.
dito mo makikita ang mas mataas ad load ng ABS-CBN kumpara sa gma7.

Mas mataas commercial load ng abs-cbn kumpara sa GMA7 samantalang laging sinasabi ng gma7 na number 1 sila.

Anyone here already saw the full data sheets of AGB and Kantar? Ako nakita ko na sa trabaho ko. Halos magkaparehas lang po yan.

So why is it so different kung ikukumpara? Simple. Kasi yung AGB data na nire-release sa publiko, Mega Manila lang. Yung Kantar data na nire-release sa publiko, nationwide po yan.

Pero kung titingnan mo ang data sheets, both AGB and Kantar have the following:

Nationwide data

At kung ikukumpara mo yang dalawa category by category, magkalapit lang po yan.

Mga Kapuso/Kapamilya fantards lang naman ang nagsasabing kesyo corrupt at hindi credible ang AGB o Kantar. E hindi naman totoo yan.

I think kailangang maglinis ng parehong kumpanya dahil may mga tiwali na empleyado sila gaya rin naman sa ibang kumpanya. yung mga balita ng pagmamanipula ng data dahil nababayaran yung mga empleyado ng parehong kumpanya sa ilang bansa eh something na dapat ikaalarma ng lahat ng stakeholders.

yung nangyari dito sa Pinas after magsanib ng operasyon ang AGB at Nielsen, yung nangyari sa Greece at Florida. tapos yung latest na nangyari sa India kung saan naman nagsanib ng operasyon ang Nielsen at Kantar eh parang iisa ang scheme.

i think this surveys are intended for advertisers para malaman nila kung aling network ang mas pinapanood.

mas maraming placement ang mga advertisers sa ABS shows compared sa GMA which indicates that kantar is more reliable.

Wave of fraud raids spreads to TV world

Hot on the heels of Turkey’s massive match-fixing case, the country’s TV world has also been shocked by a huge fraud case, with Istanbul police raiding more than 20 locations on allegations of irregularities in the rating measurements for certain channels.

The raids, which targeted the offices of numerous production firms and the AGB Nielsen company, which measures ratings, were part of an investigation launched following a complaint from the state-owned broadcaster Turkish Radio and Television (TRT) for alleged tampering with television ratings. Computer hard-disks, five cell phones and large volumes of digital materials and documents were seized by the police during the raids, Anatolia news agency reported.

AGB Nielsen's reputation worldwide speaks for itself as unreliable ratings agency. Kantar is more credible and reflects the viewing habit nationwide.

Lawsuit filed against Nielsen for fixing TV ratings in India

Nielsen is being sued by India television company NDTV for allegedly harming the network by fixing ratings, Business Insider reported.

Audience numbers in India can be changed in exchange for bribes, according to the lawsuit. NDTV, or New Delhi Television, filed a lawsuit against Nielsen on July 25 in state court in New York. In it, the television company claims that the Television Audience Measurement system that tracks viewership in India, a joint venture created between Nielsen and competitor Kantar, is corrupt and has resulted in millions of losses for NDTV.

The suit also claims Nielsen and Kantar admitted the manipulation in the collection and dissemination of viewer numbers but did nothing to resolve the issue.

Top TV network brands. Network rating is a see-saw battle between ABS-CBN and GMA. The advertisers are the best persons in answer who is credible.

Sa totoo lang po, ang mga TV Networks lang naman ang nagbibigay ng wrong information... may dagdag bawas sa mga data coming from AGB and Kantar (siguro)

Ang TV networks ang nagsasabi kung anong covered area ang dapat i survey ng mga ito. Siyempre yon lang ang gagawin ng mga ito ..kasi po yon lang ang babayaran.

Sana may iisa na lang survey company ang magsagawa ng Ratings Survey na kung saan isa lang ang common coverage sa Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao, Mega Luzon, Mega Manila etc... at nang MAGKA ALAMAN na Kung sino ba talaga ang No1. TV Network!
