It's "Headake", as far as I know.
Sa akin lang ah..
1995 Sunkist > 2011 Talk N Text..
Now airing in PinoyExtreme is a 1993 game between Sta. Lucia and San Miguel. Can't help but notice that the PBA logo had a reverse color scheme during that time, specifically on the letter "B".
Naglaro pala sa Sta. Lucia si Vergel Meneses?
Yes, Meneses suited up for the Sta. Lucia Realtors in the 1993 season before being traded to Swift Hotdogs. Meneses first played in the PBA as a rookie for Presto Tivoli in the 1992 season. But when Presto disbanded and sold its franchise to the Robles-owned company, Meneses, along with other top Presto players Allan Caidic, Bong Hawkins, Gerry Esplana, among others, became part of SLR. Meneses moved to Swift after a conference with the Realtors in a trade that involved Andy De Guzman and Jack Tanuan if I recall correctly.
Now I know the definition of loaded teams in the PBA today is overrated...maybe teams will be star studed in paper but history will say if these teams would be for real.. like the 2011 Tnt and the 1996 San Miguel Beermen
This was I think the year where Sta. Lucia made some unwitting trades. Realubit and Meneses traded for Tanuan and De Guzman. I think they also let go Hawkins for the injured Bong Alvarez and Esplana for Romy dela Rosa, they picked in the draft some unknown players from the south such as Librada, Baclayon, Singson.

Game shown last night was between Purefoods TJ Hotdogs and Ginebra. 1996 All Filipino. Big J was still playing coach with Chot Reyes handling the Hotdogs. Ginebra had the young core of Aquino, David, Locsin, Feihl and Hizon.
It was because SLR wanted to "build" a competitive team. Buddy Encarnado was quoted "we are not here to buy championships". This goes with their philosophy to really "build" a team. So they traded Presto's stars that they inherited like Caidic, Meneses, and Hawkins and built their team around Jun Limpot and Gerry Esplana in 1993 with Nat Canson as their first ever coach.
