When was the last time you saw Noli Locsin with eye-popping stats of 25 points and 16 boards, including 7 of 7 from the FT line? This happened in Game 1 of the AFC Finals between Purefoods Corned Beef Cowboys against the Gordon's Gin Boars.

Alaska beat Ginebra 104-80 in game 3, sweeping the series and bagging the Commissioner's Cup title.

Hopefully, Sir Jay, ma-post dito yung game sched maybe for the week. Panis lahat dun hehe.
That game is being replayed now. Si Vince St. Price ang barker noon. Too bad he is now based in the States. I got in touch with him in Facebook and I'm still waiting for his reply.
Among the barkers today, mas mahusay si Boyet Sison and Sgt. Mark of Energy FM. Si DJ Rob, dapat mag-DJ na lang.
As far as I know, Viva does not own that channel anymore.
I wonder if the horse races are still aired there.
BTW, si Noli Eala (yes, the SBP Executive Director) did the coverage of that Gordon's-Purefoods finals match. That game was aired on Channel 13 where Vintage Sports was the chief blocktimer like what Solar is to Studio 23 now.
Those were the days when IBC was giving ABS and GMA a tough fight in the ratings kahit sequestered pa ito. Vintage kasi was airing a lot of sports events and top-quality shows.
Sayang nga lang when Viva took over Vintage, malaki ang nalugi ni Vic del Rosario sa IBC.
Ha! Edmund Reyes! Benny Cheng! Dudut Jaworski! Dwight Lago! Reelin' in the years talaga!
Sana magkaroon ng online stream to. I miss the days of gordon's gin. with all their exciting games and hearbreaking loss.
I watched the Gordon's- PF Corned Beef game last night. Noli Locsin was beasting!
I think it was Elmer Lago *** player ng Purefoods?
We're still working on the programming quirks but rest assured that efforts are being made to improve this. I'm sure there's a schedule already slated for March but I don't have a copy of this. What I'm working on now is the editorial content for April - which will include trivia among players (which we hope to be included on the screen during the coverage), teams, etc. not unlike what the NBA Greatest Games does. We'll also continue focusing on the Superstars' Spotlight section as you can expect two superstars from the 90's (MVP winners at that) to be featured for April. Alvin Patrimonio and Benjie Paras are this month's Spotlight feature, which explains why the Purefoods-Gordon's Gin game was featured last night.
Good job guys!
James,
No, they're not. Actually, VIVA Prime wasn't really owned by Vic Del Rosario's unit - they were merely blocktimers for this until the contract expired. Hence, Pinoy Extreme, which is also the network that covers the Greatest Games in the Middle East, has taken over to handle the programming chores. ENVEO, the licensee of the Greatest Games, is also a so-called blocktimer for Pinoy Extreme.
Yes, some of the local indigent sports (cockfighting, horse racing, among others) are also covered by Pinoy Extreme. These also include motorsports, mixed martial arts, etc. There's still a long way to go for this network to become totally mainstream but at least, the Greatest Games is a good start.
I wouldn't know James. As mentioned, Ken's group, ENVEO, isn't exactly part of Pinoy Extreme, just a blocktimer. Hence, my knowledge of the network isn't exactly extensive.
I don't know if these videos are still around. I'm not even sure if Ronnie Nathanielsz's boxing program is also with the network today.
