MIMS.com Philippines lists only one brand of lactase: Lacteeze Extra Strength tablet, lactase 4,000 FCC.
thanks po![]()
2 Mercury Drugs and 3 watsons ang napagtanungan ko wala pong Lacteeze.
any suggestion guys? home remedy?
Maybe you can inquire from other branches (via telephone) if they have it. I think a medrep gave me some flyers regarding Lacteeze last year but I'm not sure if it took off in the Philippine market.
Regarding lactose intolerance, I'm sure you already know this but if you can't have artificial lactase then just avoid milk-based foods. Lactose intolerance is extremely common in Asians but I guess it's pretty bad that you'd need to avoid a lot of tasty foods (like ice cream) if your intolerance is severe. About 'home remedies', I've never encountered anything about them in the context of lactose intolerance.
thank you sa response doc.
kaya ko naman po ang ice cream and a glass of milk.
pero pag naparami po dun nalang po ako nagkakaproblema.
I'm a hard gainer and i'm planning to take milk as a source of calories.
sa sobrang inis ko sa pagiging lactose intolerant ko.. nagresearch ako online.. ayun.. sabi daw kse kulang daw tayo sa LACTASE na nakakatulong sa digestion lalo ng lactose na galing sa dairy products..
i found this product..
http://firstclassvitamins.ca/product...estive-enzyme/
nag take ako 1 tablet before breakfast and after after merienda.... same day at lunch time, para masubukan kung ok nga siya, I ate ice cream as a dessert.. tapos nung bandang hapon.. uminom **** ako ng frap from starbucks...and guess what.. ni hindi man lang ako sinumpong... haha!! galing ng product!
kaso lang pinabili ko pa yan sa singapore.. I bought 3 bottles..
Nabasa ko somewhere na pag may diarrhea kumain ng yogurt with Imodium, has anyone tried this yet and effective ba? Thanks! =)
Is this the one you are talking about chouness?
When you have diarrhea, don't eat/drink dairy products like milk or cheese. These are hard for our stomach to digest. The only dairy you can take is yogurt! It contains good bacteria that help in establishing a healthier balance in our tummies. Take yogurt with Imodium for a gentle but very effective diarrhea relief!

I haven't tried this yet but nothing to lose, galing naman yung tip sa mismong Imodium so baka tried and tested na nila. Di kasi ako mahilig sa yogurt kaya I won't dare try this. Hehehe.
