They should form a pool of the promising players for the future RP team already... I think these players should be included in the pool...

    Balse
    Daquis
    Gumabao
    Maizo
    Alarca
    Mercado
    Cha Cruz (as the setter)
    Dimaculangan
    Dindin Santiago
    Jaja Santiago
    Valdez
    Ortiz
    Manzano
Quejas, and two other UP players whom I forgot the names (with proper training I think their height can be utilized)
    Marano

    Libero:

Cainglet (she's a fighter, smart, deserves to be in the RP team... a bit undersized to be an attacker though... but she has a decent floor defense, has a potential to be a good libero)
    Reyes of NU
    Gata

It might be too expensive to have such a pool of players but I guess it would be worth it... A foreign coach might also help... I hope a private corp will support the team fully...Shakey's brought the Filipinos' interest on Volleyball back. The opportunity should be grabbed to regain supremacy even just in the Southeast Asia...

A pro league would definitely help also... After college, the promising talents are gone to waste... not given the opportunity to continue their passion for volleyball... Someone should start a pro-league... Tougher reinforcement should also be added to the participating teams... Players will get better with tougher opponents... Improvement after college would be minimal if they will only play as guest players playing against college athletes...

    for me:

OPEN: Bautista and Mercado (Sub: Tabaquero and Latigay)
MIDDLE: Balse and Alarca (Sub: Roces and Santiago)
    UTILITY: Maizo (Sub: Daquis)
    SETTER: De Leon (Sub: Ferrer)
    LIBERO: Reyes (Sub: Cainglet)

We need siguro additional Young and new breed of Players
tama wag na natin ipilit sila Macatangay at Salak

oh yes. this 2 should be in the team. i really want Michelle Gumabao to be the team's Utility than Aiza Maizo kasi minsan, off ang laro ni Aiza. Gumabao has the "International" type of plays than maizo.

as for Jacq Alarca, she's good too. medyo mabilis siya than suzzanne rocess.

ipinasok ba nila si PAULINA SORIANO?

    eto mas gusto kong line-ups...

    Nerissa Bautista
    Lizlee Ann Gata
    Michelle Gumabao
    Jacqueline Alarca
    Aiza Maizo
    Lourence Anne Latigay
    Charleen Cruz
    Rachel Anne Daquis
    Paulina Soriano
    Allyssa Valdez
    Nica Guliman
    Janet Serafica
    Fille Cainglet
    Maricar Nepomuceno
    Cherry Mae Vivas
    Mary Jean Balse

  5. #25
michelle gumabao....good blocker and powerful spiker...i think as she enters her junior year, she will be more aggressive than the previous year.
    - medyo kinakabahan lang pag maraming spectators...as i observed.

the santiago sisters... sana maging kasing bilis nila si sheila castro..

  6. #26
why not include HONEY ROYSE TUBINO and sandra delos santos....

    @gella08fille15

    Setter: Cha Cruz o Esperanza

    Just saying.

  12. #32
Kumusta naman ang mga attack nila?

Nakaka-quick ba sila na ala Rhea-Maika?

    Nakaka-combi play ba?

    Wait.......kumusta muna reception? Boploks ba?

We seriously needs a topnotch coach. I think we have the talents, kelangan lang i-level up.

Why not get a Cuban coach?

Poor technique. Awkward moves. Has no all-around skills.

    She's a one-trick pony.

    Just saying.

well you probably should see the stats of the games they have played...

and apparently her awkward moves makes her the most effective attacker for the Philippine team...

watch their games, read some post-game analysis of people who watched their game and maybe you'll be enlightened...

    I've been watching and playing V-ball since I was 9. Now I'm 25.

I have watched generations of RP WVT since time nina Molit, Divinagracia (Guanco), Rivera (Macatangay) et al.

At siyempre yung post-game analyses eh puro positive dapat. TV yun eh.

tama lang na si daquis ay mapasama sa national team.... even though hindi ganung kalakas pumalo...she has the brain to get through the tough blocks of the opponents... its only an opinion....
