True story, just for you, mikoy.

I was promoted to be manager even with just 5 months tenure with a previous company. Almost every veteran in the company hated my eyes except for a few who understood office politics.

I declined the post several times because 1. I know the hate that'll linger in the office and 2. the department I'll be handling just has too much problems.

In the end, I saw it as a challenge - to overcome everybody else's expectations and that of my boss. That I was able to do.

One thing to note though that on my first week, someone came to my office and told me she hates my being down to the bone.

I replied, "I'm cool with that, if that's how you feel."

I smiled and thought of ways to improve processes and fix problems.

So, to answer you if I'd be doing what you're doing right now it's a big NO. I'll take the harder route and inform darksoul that though things go bad he shouldn't lose his composure.

I hope there's something that we can do to make things cool here. Nakakahiya kay empoykolokoy na siyang nagcreate ng thread na toh. As what he've said he created this to be informative. Pero the way i see things right now, this isn't informative anymore. Honestly speaking i'm not in favor with the Pioneer Boys nor the Alabang Boys. Diba sabi mo hindi ka pa magaling sa networking at modular cisco 1-4 lang natapos mo. Tsaka plain Cisco guy ka pa lang (wala ka pang knowledge sa ibang brand like juniper, huawei, nortel etc). Magbasa-basa ka muna ng mga training materials ni cisco para pagsalta mo sa ACN sa May 2 kahit papano eh may alam ka na at di ka mahuhuli dun sa iba.


Dun naman sa nagsabi na tax nya lang yung 20K, eh panu kung sabihin ko sayo na ganyan din kalaki yung tax ko dito sa Accenture. Yun nga lang I'm handling a different networking project. Not an ISP pero a huge enterprise infrastructure na almost similar yung size ng isang ISP.

Anyways, goodluck na lang sa mga new hires. Galingan at sipagan nyong maigi para mapantayan nyo rin yung tax ni darksoul. hahaha

Naranasan ko rin kung ano ang nararamdaman ng mga taga-VZN, just recently our account will be 100% ship-out to India, so we have only a month and a half to get a new job ... sa una nakakainis knowing our team is one of the best performer, highly effcient team .. so there's no reason for us to think na mawawala *** account ... angry, sadness, and fear yan ang naramdaman ko ... but at the end of the day, we all know its all about business so we have to move on , be professional for the remaining days of the account ...
