I just don't have a use for the Landline. Kung pwede lang sana maalis yung landline. I only need the Internet at our condo unit. I have Plan 990 at our home in Batangas and Now I would also love to have a stable Internet Plan at the New Place I'll be going to live. Kaso yung landline lang talaga problema ko. I have no Need for it. Adding the fact that only PLDT and Cablelink are allowed to provide Internet Service in that Area. I want that 999/month with 1mbps but I still need to pay for landline which I will be rarely using. Sayang.

tanong ko lang kung may bago ng wifi modem ngayon ang DSL?? kasi nakita ko sa bagong flyers ng PLDTdsl ngayon na iba na ang pic doon ng wifi modem. at may bagong plan nanaman 4k for 10Mbps.

The PLDT MyDSL modem-router is actually a ZyXEL P-660HN-F1A ADSL Router with four Ethernet ports and IEEE 802.11 N wireless capability!

Normally, colored black ang Wi-Fi Modem! Check link for more details, specs, review, etc.:

sir.. tanong ko lang kung nagttroubleshoot din ba kayo ng mga problems when connecting thru wifi?? nagddrop kasi ang internet speed at nagdidisconnect kapag 802.11 N (150mbps) ang connection ko sa zyxel p-660hn-f1a pero kapag 802.11 G (54mbps), continous ang connection no drop sa speed.
sayang naman kung di ko maexperience yung 820.11 N speed which is more reliable connection.

What is the average download speed of myPLDT's XCEL 3000? I need it to be at least 4 mbps at any time of the day since there are 3 computers at home.

The new download speeds of XCELL 3000 is up to 5Mbps and if your service area is NGN-ready, speeds will be be more or less 5Mbps!

PM my your Name, Contact No. and Exact Service Address w/ nearest existing PLDT Tel. No. to verify if NGN area or not!

Fyi, the newest PLDT MyDSL plan now is XTREME 4000 w/ up to 10Mbps @ P4000MSF!

Currently 6mbps wired business plan (globe) and 4mbps wired business plan (pldt) ang aming connection. Kung mag rollout ng 10mbps ang pldt gusto ko sanang mag apply then disconnect ang Globe para maging 10mbps wired residential plan (pldt) and 4mbps wired business plan (pldt) ang aming connection.

Ang problema lang ay kung may bagong offer ang globe na mas mura at mabilis after mag rollout ng pldt sa 10mbps

AFAIK, all PLDT Res. Plans have no C.I.R. (Committed Information Rate) or guaranteed available bandwidth unlike Biz. Plans which have C.I.R like SMB Lite 4000, up to 4Mbps w/ 512kbps C.I.R. and Static IP address! Need to be in an NGN areas to get XTREME 4000?

By default, dynamic po ang ibinibigay ng Globe para sa business plan (at least sa Cebu) pero pwedeng mag request ng Static IP address for free

If within Lock-in period pa any Plan, NOT OK to downgrade but OK to upgrade so SMB Lite, 4Mbps w/ 516kbps C.I.R. @ P5980MSF NOT OK to downgrade to XTREME 4000, 10Mbps (w/out C.I.R.) @ P4691MSF unless another or separate account! The best pa rin if w/ Committed Information Rate (C.I.R) or guaranteed available bandwidth or actual DATA at any given time kaya mas mahal ang Business plans!
