Magpapalagay na rin sana ako ng PLDT based dun sa experienced ng friend ko dahil ok naman speed. Newly installed lang sila. Ang inapply nila is 999 (1MB) with free installation, locked for 12 months, at sabi daw ng PLDT rep 1540 daw ang maging monhtly fee, pero ng dumating ang first bill 2400 at kasama pa ang installation fee. To make more worst, tumawag sa CSR, sinabi ng daw ng CSR na 2 years locked-in period at hindi libre ang installation. Kaya hayon naghihimutok sa galit yung friend ko.

So parang nag doubt na rin ako magpalagay ng PLDT. So far globe dsl ako mabagal lang speed but ok naman ang serice tech nila. Habol ko sana ay *** watchpad at same 999 ng pldt.

Bakit ganun ang computation? 999 pero 1540 daw monthly bill at hindi libre ang installation?

Meron nga yata mga hidden charges ang PLDT?

Tel. Installation Fee is P1,100 + P500 Downpayment for Wi-Fi Modem (@ P1,000 if Xperience, 1Mbps w/ FREE DSL Installation) so Total initial Cash-out payable upon approval of Tel/DSL Application is P 1,600 before service is installed. Wala akong alam na FREE Installation if PLDT MyDSL. Total Monthly Service Fee = P692MSF for Res. Tel. + P 999MSF for 1Mbps DSL = P 1,681MSF w/ VAT! Lock-in period is only 12 mos. or 1 year. Yung P1540 is still w/out VAT. FYI.

The lock-in period is the minimum length of time paying the MSF you are obligated to pay w/out penalty of paying the specified pre-termination fees if opting out of contract/disconnecting service while still within the lock-in period. Within the lock-in period, you could upgrade w/out penalty/upgrade fee and downgrade but w/ corresponding downgrade fees. After the lock-in period, still pay the agreed MSF but OK to terminate anytime w/out anymore termination fees!

The Telephone Installation Fee of P1100 is one-time fee and always paid first before installation of telephone service while Free Installation refers to the DSL Installation (Reg. Modem could be Free or with cost depending Plan availed)!

Yes, OK to upgrade to Plan 1299 (Tel/DSL, 768kbps)w/ the same Tel. No. or Plan 999 w/ still the-same telephone No. but your monthly will be P999 (1Mbps DSL)+ 692 (Tel.) = P1691MSF total! PM me ff. to upgrade:

1) Full Name of Subscriber on Record (SOR)
2) Birthday of SOR
3) Valid ID Type/No. of SOR
4) Reg. Modem or Wi-Fi Modem

The same number had been retained but because the line had been with us for 10 yrs now. Every time that there is a storm we always had this problem for the past 2 yrs. Tried inquiring at the PLDT hotline several times however, according to them they cant change the line(cords) without changing our home contact number.

So past behind, we just accepted our fate.

Now we wanted to upgrade the service to Plan 999Mbs(So this is the myDSL Wifi Modem? right?)

1. Can we actually request for them to change the whole connection line (Line from the post to our home) now, without changing the landline number?

2. How much do we have to pay for the installation?

Upon availing that service...

4. How much should I pay During the installation?

5. How much would my monthly bill be?
