Taylor Swift is maximizing on her wholesome image in a brand new way. The singer-songwriter-actress recently released a brand new line of Mother’s Day cards through American Greetings. The cards feature images of her lyrics to tracks like ‘The Best Day,’ which she wrote for her own mother, Andrea, as well as tunes like ‘Stay Beautiful.’

The move isn’t the star’s first foray into the card business. The hopeless romantic released Valentine’s Day cards last year featuring her more sappy, girl-meets-boy material.

Country Music Is Love reports that Lindsay Kalback, who works on the Swift brand team at American Greetings, said in a release, “We’ve worked very hard to ensure that this year’s Mother’s Day collection from Taylor had the right variety to help consumers celebrate all of the moms in their life. The cards really do a great job of reflecting the details that make every relationship unique while still offering the casual tone, bold designs, and fun enhancements that have made the collection so popular. We can’t wait for shoppers to check out the collection and we are even more excited for moms to receive the cards.”

The cards feature Swift’s trademark girly, romantic touches, from pastel colors to dainty flowers. If you want to treat the special mama in your life to one.

We didn't even have to tell you that Taylor Swift was gonna tweet some cute-*** ish on Mother's Day, but boy, did she DELIVER. Taylor is known for posting adorable cat photos, cat videos and pics of her and her famous pals hanging out. But nothing could have prepped us for the adorable overload that was gifted to us by Taylor on Mother's Day.

In honor of the day of moms, Tay tweeted an INSANE-CUTE photo of her and her mama, Andrea, legit wearing coordinating outfits. (Velvet: a childhood classic.) Along with the pic, Taylor tweeted: "Celebrating this Mother's Day, reflecting back on past matching velvet holiday ensembles." First, Taylor, you were such a cute kid! Like, we can't even really take it. Second, you both are working those oversize white collars. Lastly, Taylor, I'll see your matching holiday ensembles and raise you two matching Mickey Mouse sweaters that my mom got us at Disney World when I was 11. Lemme know if you wanna compare embarrassing pics -- I guess the only difference is that I grew up me, and you grew up famous.

Taylor Swift to Make It Up to Fan Who Missed Show Due to Drunk Driving Accident

You know how disappointing it is when you miss out on seeing one of your favorite artists play live? Well, imagine if you were on your way to a show and a drunk driver crashed into your car, and instead of in your concert seat, you ended up at the hospital. That’s exactly what happened to 13-year-old Taylor Swift fan Summer and her mom Michelle. Lucky for them, Taylor Swift is known for her big heart — she won’t let her fans miss out.


Summer had waited nine months to see the country-singing sweetheart play a show at Power Balance Pavilion in Sacramento, Calif. Unfortunately, tragedy struck when a drunk driver careened into Summer and Michelle’s car when they were halfway into their two-hour drive to the arena. While Swift was singing her heart out for a huge crowd at the pavilion, Summer and her mom were being carted off to the hospital. The teenage Taylor Swift fan sustained some serious injuries, including a nasty gash on her arm that left a scar.

When Officer Mike Lowry arrived on the scene to help, he was first taken aback by the scene of the accident. But before long, he turned his attention to Summer’s sweet attitude, noticing that she was smiling and putting on a brave face for her parents, despite her painful injuries.

Though the teen never made it to see the ‘Ours’ hitmaker in concert, the officer set out on a personal mission to ensure that Summer gets to a Taylor Swift show. Once Swift’s management team found out about the accident, they promised the brave fan that she’ll be guaranteed to see Swift next time she rolls through Sacramento. To tide Summer over, the ‘Safe & Sound’ hitmaker personalized and signed some Taylor Swift swag for her fearless fan.

Judging by Swift’s generous outreach to fans who need help (like Kevin McGuire, the high school student and two-time cancer fighter she invited to the ACMs), it’s not surprising that she would guarantee Summer and her mom a seat at her next gig.
