Quetions about AB in Digital Filmmaking

Hey guys, I recently saw my exam results and I got ABDFILM I'm really curious about the course...

I read all about it in CSB's site but the information given is not yet enough for a curious soul like me. For anyone out there who knows any idea, please please do enlighten me! Though I will very much appreciate answers like its future career opportunities and the difficulty of the course, anything related about the course will do! (Even the most random things)

Basically, it's like any film course offered but you get to undergo more hands on training with equipment once you hit your majors. Can't describe it fully because I'm not Digifilm but you get the idea na rin.

But remember, you have to strive to make it work for you.

Hello! I know a lot of people from this program and I'll try my best to share everything I know. It's a relatively new program (almost 4 years). You will have classes like scriptwriting, sound design, film for TV and the like. It's very hands-on and you'll get the chance to attend many media-related events outside the school. You'll get to organize some sort of a "film fest" in school, but I'm not sure if they do this every year. My friends have also had the chance to work with experts in the industry. Hmm...what else? You'll be required to do a lot of short films starting junior year. Based from the experiences of the people I know, it can get really tough. You have to get your own actors, look for filming locations and do a lot of editing in a short period of time. For your thesis, I think you'll have to create a full length feature (it can be by group). Be prepared to manage your time well, it may be a real challenge to finish the program on time (three years). As for career opportunities, graduates usually get jobs in media companies.

Good luck! I'm sure that anyone passionate about pursuing a career in film making will enjoy this program. You will need a lot of creativity and patience to succeed. I suggest you start writing down your ideas for your future films. Good luck again!

Hi, aspiring filmmakers. I hope you can help me. How do you achieve this kind of lighting in videos? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mu31IAYHIBM It's like the lomo effect.
