HAYAN na nga at mukhang kinumpirma na ni Manny Pangilinan, may-ari ng TV5 at iba pang malalaking kompanya sa bansa ang bali-balitang siya na ang nagmamay-ari ng kalahati ng shares ng GMA7, ito ay kung pagbabasehan ang panawagan ni MVP sa presscon ng naturang TV station sa Mandarin Oriental, San Francisco, California na anya’y suportahan ang TV5 sa Amerika at huwag ding kalimutang suportahan ang GMA7.

Malamang sa pagbabalik ni Mr. Pangilinan sa Pinas pagkatapos ng TV5 International Launch sa Amerika ay baka ayusin na nito ang pormal na pag-upo sa trono ng Kapuso network.

Ano kaya ang magiging tawag kapag ang Kapuso at Kapatid ay magsanib, Kapusod? Hehehe!

Well, masaya ito. At least, dahil kay MVP, hindi mawawalan ng trabaho ang karamihan sa talents ng Siyete. Si Ms. Angel kaya, mananatili ba sa pwesto nya?

Si Pechay, este, Ms. Peachy, na lumayas sa Channel 7 at lumipat sa ABS-CBN at ngayon sa Singko, aapak kayang muli sa rati niyang pinagsisilbihang network?

Those two dramas were socially inclined dramas. Not bad for fillers. But the films are not really a good idea.

IPINATAWAG PALA ng GMA news management si Mel Tiangco para pagsabihan sa inasal niya when she interviewed Eric Quizon on air to get updates about the health of Comedy King Dolphy last week.

Nabahala kasi ang management when out of the blue ay biglang naglitanya si Mel ng “matibay pala ang matandang ‘yan” when Eric said na sampung pneumonia ang nalagpasan ng kanyang ama last year.

Mel was told by GMA news exec to avoid making such tactless statements on air as it reeks of unprofessionalism.

Probably trying to defend herself, inamin naman daw ni Mel na medyo nawala siya sa focus during the interview.

Actually, we were watching the GMA coverage and we, too, were shocked when we heard Mel said that line. We didn’t think she was capable of doing that, and to a fellow senior at that, ha?

What does she think of herself, a spring chicken? Napa-look who’s talking kami when we heard what she said.

Respect, as they say, is always earned. How can Mel earn respect when she disrespected the Comedy King? It was unbecoming of a veteran broadcast journalist to say what she said and we think she should apologize to the Quizons for her shenanigans.

Napaka-insensitive naman pala nitong si Mel. May sakit na nga ‘yung tao, eh, ganoon pa ang kanyang sinabi. At tila nakalimutan niya na she’s talking with the comedian’s son.

Bakit walang news about Sec. Robredo sa GMA News TV? Ang pinapakita ay nagluluto ng pinangat, korean drama, classic filipino movie. GMA should consider changing the name of this channel to something else that doesn't contain the word NEWS.

GMA NETWORK LOSES P4 BILLION IN MARKET VALUE!

Listed firm, GMA Network, shed roughly P4 billion in Market Value after news on the termination of merger talks with the PLDT Group stunned investors. In just two days, GMA's share price dropped 14% to P8.16 from P9.50 in October 02, reflecting an estimated P4 billion loss in Market Value. GMA's share price ballooned early this year amidst news that PLDT Group will acquire the company for P52 billion, but talks between the two parties went rough on pricing issues.


GMA and GMAP were top losing stocks in the Philippine Stocks Exchange in spite of an all time high PSEi index. Rival ABS-CBN Corp. saw its market value climb 35% from P24.45 per share on August 28 to P33.00 per share in October 4.
