Parang hindi mo nabasa yung kwento ni TS. May kakilala sila sa loob. Nagpalakad siya. Now, they took her application from the "DID NOT QUALIFY" (buti ngayon ganyan na- dati yung hard truth ang nakasulat FAILED) and she was given a slot for interview? If you were a student who's on waiting list (First and Second choice), do you think that's fair?

Yes. But in my case, I passed a course in the Faculty of Engineering. Might as well try my luck na din.

Ako naman, I will do it the right way. Besides, wala po akong kakilala na kahit kanino na taga-UST maliban sa mga estudyanteng nag-aaral doon.

IMHO no one is to blame if you happen to know somebody. Life has no room for too much idealism or fairness for that matter.. be extra thankful if someone helps you out and never screw up your second chance if given one. in the end if UST is really not for you, it has a way of letting you know..

May friend po kasi (wala kasing pex) ako na di nakapasa sa uste pero magpaparecon siya sa tourism although yung original choices niya pharmacy and pt. May chance po ba daw siya makapasok sa tourism? Malake po ba yung "effect" ng height sa decision nila? 4'11 lang po kasi siya. Although malake rin edge niya over others kasi magaling mag makeup and sobrang sanay sa heels (maliit kasi lol), and also nag J-JRP rin siya, so ma-PR and she's really pretty. May pag-asa po ba siya lalo na baka tulungan siya ng kakilala ko sa loob?

Tsaka may accountancy daw ba talaga sa tourism? Haha hate niya raw kasi yun )

may tanong ako kasi i didn't qualify on my preferred courses -- accountancy tska ece.. so ayun academic placement ako, tas ang pipiliin ko sana dun BSBA major in financial management tska BS Information Systems.. kailangan pa po ba ng interview dito pag eto yung mga pinili kong courses?

..pede pa po kaya ako makapagpareconsider kung mga 2nd week pa ako ng february pupunta sa UST?? actually.. 1st choice ko- CE- failed.. tapos 2nd- Archi- waiting list.. eh gusto ko na mag accountancy ngayon..... may letter na akong nagawa.. kaso di pa ako makapunta kasi hectic schedule.. maraming school works.. saka taga mindoro pa ako.. (sana ma impress sila sa letter ko at grades ko kahit di ganon kataas...

WALANg grade requirement... kahit bagsak ka from 1st quarter to 3rd quarter, ok lang yan... wag lang sa th quarter

ust does not care about high school grades, UST does being fair to all students...

Guys I have a question. I really want to study in U.S.T. next school year, I took the U.S.T.E.T. last August 22, 2010, got the results, and

B.S. Information Technology - Did not qualify
B.S. Computer Science - Did not qualify

My quota is qualified in

College of Education and Conservatory of Music


My grades in school are very good, but yeah, still not qualified. What I'm asking is that, is there are way so that the school will re-consider me and enroll on what program I chose? Can I send them my Fourth year High School report card from first to third grading or something? I want to be a part of U.S.T.

You can try transfering to UST (given you have high grades) after a semester.

That is like aiming for the moon. Slots are not hard to come by and the competition is higher.
