    Itatanong ko lang po ulit:

"By the way, may nakapagsabi po sa akin (her brother is a Thomasian student) na it is possible to shift to another course without spending an extra year in college.

Kasi daw, hindi naman daw halos magkakaiba 'yung tinuturo during the the first two years."

Just the basics. Character profile, your learning style, why pursue your desired program, why in UST, why do you think you deserve your slot, etc...

I will spend a year muna in Psychology and I will just shift nalang after a year to Biology. Since same colleges naman sila and during your freshman year naman daw is puro general subjects lang ang kukunin mo ay macecredit lahat yan and di ka na madedelay ng graduate Please correct me if I'm wrong

@yoonjaey. Once you're in, you can get all the advice you want from your seniors, fellow shifters and guidance counselor. They know better.

    good eve po.

  6. #26
@brrrrr!!! I guess that's the best thing to do.

  7. #27
@zyren. Tingin ko 'di gano marami kumukuha ng microbio, so mas malaki chance mo dun, then again nothing is certain, maybe it wont hurt you to go and ask the College of Science in person.

    PS course, not coarse

Paano ka naging for interview eh did not qualify ka di ba? Please explain.

forotherapps1: Visit UST and ask the admissions office.

It doesn't work that way. Priority will always be given sa mga wait listed at mga nasa academic placement. Oh well, UST has its way of weeding out the undeserving ones anyway.

I'm sorry but I've never been a fan of the "palakad system." People who resort to this demonstrate how thick faced and weak they really are.

This is not to sound too discriminative but if I were a failed applicant why would I force myself into something that rejected me? Maraming protocols pa na susundin and papunta punta at patawag tawag w/o any assurance. Dun nalang ako sa sigurado. Besides, wala sa school yan.

    Re interview: Personal questions lang.

You have a point there sir. But, we never know, Maybe, he/she got lucky for an early acceptance of his/her appeal.

  16. #36
^ Hindi eh. Nagpunta rin ako sa Dean's office ng Faculty of Pharmacy, since 'di ko rin napasa 'yung first choice ko na Med Tech but I passed Nursing (second choice) and sabi sa March 1 pa raw sila tatanggap ng appeals for reconsideration. And titignan pa nila 'yung grades mo sa 4th year (1st-3rd grading period) and i-aanalyze 'yung USTET score mo bago nila mapagdesisyunan kung iinterviewhin ka ba or hindi. Samantalang siya natanggap na for interview. May kakilala siguro sa loob si ate.

  17. #37

Now, they took her application from the "DID NOT QUALIFY" (buti ngayon ganyan na- dati yung hard truth ang nakasulat FAILED) and she was given a slot for interview? If you were a student who's on waiting list (First and Second choice), do you think that's fair?

  19. #39
what if wait listed ka anu nmn *** grades na titingnan??? pati pag mag eenroll anu *** titingnan?

    For balikbayans.

Hello! Sorry to cut in into the discussion!
Wala po kc ako ngayun sa pilipinas so I won't be able to inquire. I've sent an email last year pero wala pa po sagot. Sa December pa siguro ako makaka-uwi and I need to know if they require any special documents for me to bring over. I'm hoping to get into the school of Architecture.

Also, even though I'm filipino, my knowledge of the Filipino language is limited to the basic conversation vocabulary. I read that if you fail any subjects in the first year, ma de-debar ka. Are there any other language modules I can take up or is there any way for me to learn Filipino at a beginner's level?

I actually have a lot more questions but I don't want to be a pain in the *** so I guess, I'll just ask these first.

    Salamat po!
