    ENGINEER- NETWORK CONSULTING

    Responsibilities:

    Works on basic problems with some guidance from Senior engineers;
    assists with designing technical engineering solutions for either internal products or customer solutions.Collects information from customers, account teams, and Eng group that is specific to the network issue for purposes of designing network solutionsWorks with senior engineers and vendors in the research and evaluation of communications technologies and products.

    Documents non-complex solutions with clarity for senior management presentation to customers.
    Assists in reviewing and providing network design consultation for standards based network solutions.


    Requirements:

    MANAGER- NETWORK OPERATIONS


    Functional Responsibilities:

    Manages the activities of the network operations department.
    Manages the installation, maintenance, and upgrade of the Global network.
    Works with staff and group managers regarding the Global network needs of this customer base, which can include both external and internal customers.
    Is responsible for hiring, terminating, performance appraisals, and pay reviews.
    Usually reports to the Group Manager of Network Operations. Networks may cover multiple Global regions requiring work outside of normal business hours.
    On call 7 x 24 support including weekends and holidays.
    Ensures that the networks and the IT information systems used to support the networks are properly maintained.
    Communicates status of service issues to group or executive management.
    Submits requirements to ensure networking needs are met.
    Manage Security for access to the Global Networks. Oversees personnel activities of staff (i.e., hires, trains, appraises, rewards, motivates, disciplines, recommends termination as necessary). Ensures that staff is adequately trained.
    Serves as contact for networking vendors as well as customers and account teams.
    Drives Vendor to address network requirements, and fix network anomalies.
    Makes recommendations for the most efficient use of Global Network equipment and systems; keeps informed of the most current technologies.
    Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of situation or data requires evaluation of identifiable factors.
    Exercises judgment within generally defined practices and policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
    Acts as advisor to direct/indirect reports to meet schedules and/or resolve technical problems.
    Develops schedules and performance requirements.
    Makes sound decisions which positively impact the achievement of the objectives and goals of the business unit and/or department. Erroneous decisions could result in critical delays in schedules, deliverables and business unit operations.
    Manages the activities of a group performing one or more specialized areas of work.
    Frequently recommends changes to policies and establishes procedures that affect immediate operations and sometimes has corporate wide effect.


    Required Qualifications:

    Advanced skills to perform complex work for a functional area and general knowledge of other areas; requires independent thinking; demands full use and application of principles, theories, concepts and technologies.
    Generally requires a BS degree in a related discipline or equivalent experience.
    8+ years of experience in a related technical discipline and/or minimum of 3 years supervisory/ managerial experience


    Preferred Qualifications:

    SENIOR ADMINISTRATOR- NETWORK OPERATIONS

    Responsibilities:

    • As a Sr. Administrator you will learn and use basic knowledge of telecommunications equipment, processes and systems, as well as department policies and procedures. This position generally receives clear work instructions and typically works under immediate supervision and/or with close direction from more experienced employees. Performance of duties that are considered fairly routine will be expected, but also may involve handling difficult situations that may require deviation from standard procedures. Expertise in handling these matters will require a professional level of decision making.

    • Technically, this position will be responsible for remote monitoring and testing of analog and data circuits from DS0 to T1. Experience and knowledge of physical layer circuit topology, network elements, private line, and/or frame relay circuits is essential. Troubleshooting and fault isolation techniques must be utilized to isolate and resolve system and customer issues. Coordination of service testing with all involved providers must be performed until the customer's service is up and working. You will also share in handling incoming call volume.

    Requirements:

    Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Engineering (Electrical/Electronic) or equivalent.
    At least 2 years of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
    Applicants must be willing to work in Alabang,Muntinlupa City.

    Responsibilities:

    Serves as central point of contact in an ITIL-compliant Service Desk for Verizon Managed Services customers. Service Desk personnel are responsible for the ff.:

    creating internal trouble tickets for every request, as well as creating an associated request in the customer’s trouble ticket system
    providing support for incident management, change management, and service request activities
    overall ticket management function, including monitoring the status and progress of tickets, escalating to various internal support groups and external vendors, updating the status of tickets according to customer SLA guidelines
    keeping customers apprised of progress on issues, and following up to ensure satisfactory resolution of problems.
    This requires courteous, professional interaction other Customer Service Centers, Network Management Centers, Verizon Business Operations Groups, LECS, Account Teams, and Customers to facilitate communication and resolution of issues within established baseline objectives.

    Requirements:

    · Mentors and assists junior engineers for this responsibility as wellProvides leadership and guidance in the research and evaluation of communications technologies and products.Delivers complex network designs and solutions that are custom in nature, either by self or collaborating with other engineers.Researches and documents complex solutions and delivers them with poise to Verizon Business's strategic customers.

    Requirements:

    Generally requires a BS degree in a related discipline
    Requires a broad range of skills within a professional discipline to effectively perform complex assignments; demands familiarity with principles, theories, concepts and technologies as well as applied knowledge of established procedures, policies and practices.
    Excellent technical written and presentation capabilities;
    Must have 7-10 years of network design experience.
    Ability to make customer presentations.
    Above average written and verbal communication skills are necessary.
    Preferred Qualifications:

    Higher Level Network Certification (CCDP or equivalent) Plus Design Specialist (CCSP or equivalent);


    SENIOR REPRESENTATIVE- END USER SUPPORT

    Responsibilities:

    The primary work for this position is support all PC relating IT issue. This includes (but not limiting to) trouble-shooting of PC hardware & software issues and provide solution & resolutions to a problem. Remote hands supports for Servers, Messaging, Voice and Network will be required. Also will include managing projects like software deployment, expansion of site etc that are IT related.


    Requirements:

    Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree , Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent.
    Generally requires 4 -6 years of job-related experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
    Demonstrates an in-depth knowledge of job related tools and applications as well as strong analytical and problem solving skills.
    Well verse with Microsoft Operating system (XP and Win7) trouble-shooting is a must.
    Require knowledge on Microsoft office applications (word, excel and powerpoint).
