Working for Starbucks

question ***... may contract *** na bawal magtayo ng coffeeshop biz pag nagwork ka for Starbucks? ano to, forever na or for a few years lang?

my frend and i are considering the idea of working for Starbucks pero part-time *** sana... we are not planning of opening a coffeeshop biz naman but we are not closing our doors to the idea..cz you never know

wag kase i-convert sa peso..

1. What are the requirements in applying? Resume lang ba?

2. Do they accept working people as part-timers? (im working na but I really wanna be a barista )

hi ako may friend sa starbucks.. she's in eastwood branch..

it's true na free yun coffee.. they get 3 grandes (as in kahit anu pde) a day pero isa lang ang pde iuwi.. nde pde yun tatlo sabay sabay.

tapos they get 10% discount sa mga starbucks items like the mugs.. tumblers.. etc..

tapos when they purchase items or drinks in another starbucks branch applicable din yung 10%discount

pati sa rustan's department store meron din sila discount 5% lang ata except lang for the groceries

pag full time barista kelangan grad na tapos undergrad kung part time din..

it's true na bawal magsmoke and mag perfume kse para nga maging dominant yun smell ng coffee chaka para din sa mga customers yun.. just in case they dont like the smell of your perfume di ba?

bawal din ang may highlights ang hair.. as much as possible black lang..

as for the working hours.. 10hours po..

sabi nga ng friend ko maswerte yun mga first batches ng barista kse they got trained sa seattle talaga.. nun time nila, dito na lang si philippines.. pero i just don't know if they can have the chance to go to seattle to train wala sya nasabi sa akin eh..

pero i think okei naman sa starbucks kse three years na sya dun.. and she's on her way for a promotion.. chaka ang alam ko yun mga managers and supervisors dun in house lahat.. nde ka pde magapply na manager kaagad.. dapat dadaan sa sa pagiging barista.

me too... i have a good work naman pero i really wanna try and experience how it is to work as a barista. do they accept part timers na fixed na 6pm onwards ang shift? and what are the qualifications and requirements? i mean kelangan lang po ba magsubmit ng resume dun sa barista on duty?

i sent my resume thru mail and after a few days they called me...i actually finished my first week of training and so far so good. ang saya mag timpla ng coffee and pti yung mga coffee drinks and bev, free!!! well, you get 3 grande coffee drinks each shift so,ok na yun...

hay sana ma-ok ako sa starbucks...mukhang ok naman dun eh iba yung guiding principles nung company
