Who was your prof? I had Justice Aquino, to me the best Remedial Law Professor still teaching at the Ateneo.

He didn't teach that when I was there. Perhaps he filled the void left by Justice Sabio?

Well, I heard that he taught Crim 1 and 2 (only) before.

I don't know Justice Sabio. Maybe haven't met him yet.

BTW, why do you call Atty. Giovanni Vallente, 'Vanni'?

Yup, he was my prof for Crim 1. Justice Sabio was a CA Justice and is generally considered as one of Ateneo's best Remedial Law Professors, particularly, for Crim Pro.

    Atty. Vallente's nickname is Vanni.

  8. #88
Yeah, from Giovanni. I guess I should have asked, 'why first-name basis?'

Thank you! I didn't respond to this question because I thought it was quite obvious.

Hehe I know naman the answer was obvious. Pero, I was thinking kasi na wala naman tumawag sa kaniya ng "Vanni" sa mga students niya (at least sa batch namin). So I asked kasi baka colleague ka or something. That's all.

    Tanong lang po:

    5. Sino po ang nasusunod between sa Public at Private Prosecutor when it comes to decision making sa kung ano ang strategy sa hearing?

    6. And last po, ano po ang role ng mga Solicitor General?
May quasi-judicial power po ba sila? how?

    Salamat po!

DHA - A study performed on Japanese students during the high stress period of final exams showed that students supplemented with DHA were significantly less aggressive than students who were not supplemented with DHA. Aggression is one of many manifestations of stress along with others such as irritability, defensiveness, being critical, irrationality, overreaction and reacting emotionally.

DHA is the most abundant omega-3 fatty acid in the brain and retina. DHA comprises 40% of the polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFAs) in the brain and 60% of the PUFAs in the retina. Fifty percent of the weight of a neuron's plasma membrane is composed of DHA.[4]

DHA modulates the carrier-mediated transport of choline, glycine, and taurine, the function of delayed rectifier potassium channels, and the response of rhodopsin contained in the synaptic vesicles, among many other functions.[5]

DHA deficiency is associated with cognitive decline.[6] PS controls apoptosis, and low DHA levels lower neural cell PS and increase neural cell death.[7] DHA are reduced in the brain tissue of severely depressed patients.[8][9] http://www.wikipedia.com/

Chia seeds provide the essential omega 3 & 6 oils. Chia seeds are 30% oil, of which 30% is omega 3 and 40% is omega 6, and have a long shelf life. They also have approximately two times the protein concentration and up to ten times the oil concentration of other grains, and are digestible without grinding. Other seeds with harder shells, such as flax seeds, require grinding to make them digestible and have a very short shelf life in the ground form.

Chia seeds are small and have the unique feature of a shell that turns gelatinous (mucilaginous) when it gets wet. This gel is thought to create a barrier in the stomach between the carbohydrates and digestive enzymes - slowing the breakdown of carbos into sugar and prolonging endurance. The seed can absorb more than 10 times its weight in water which can prolong hydration and retain electrolytes in body fluids. www.wiki.answers.com

Minerals are essential to build and repair body tissues and are vital to all physical and mental processes. They are as important as our need for oxygen to sustain life. Our daily foods now are deficient in minerals because of the rampant use of fertilizers, pesticides, food additives and preservatives. If we do not take sufficient mineral supplements daily, our general health will gradually decline and we will develop chronic diseases, such as anemia (Iron), Rickets (Calcium) and goiter (Iodine), diabetes (Vanadium and Chromium), heart diseases (calcium and magnesium), arthritis (sulfur, calcium and boron), stroke (copper) and even the dreaded CANCER.

Fulvic are natural ionic molecules recognized as one of the key elements in many scientific breakthroughs of the 21st century for the reversal and prevention of disease and maintenance of good health. They are created by microbial activity at the roots of plants which dissolve and convert the metallic and clay based mineral to organic and bio available minerals. It makes the cell walls more permeable allowing the nutrients to enter the cell readily and the toxins to exit effectively. One single molecule of fulvic molecule carries 60 or more minerals and trace elements into the cell.
Natural zeolite forms where volcanic and ash layers react with alkaline ground water. Zeolites are also deposited over periods ranging from thousands to millions of years in shallow marine basins. It is a mineral with micro-porous “open” structure that accommodates minerals like sodium, calcium, magnesium, potassium and these are readily exchanged inside the body with toxins and heavy metals making zeolite a powerful detoxifier.

The post is most likely an advertisement targetted at the potential kickouts and dropouts of the Ateneo Law School.
