Great win by ROS ....... always nice to see a team get that first championship.
ROS is pretty much a complete team - but can use a bit more athletic players from the upcoming draft ...... however knowing Yeng Guiao, he'll go for toughness every time.
Draftees like Manuel, Pascual, Marcelo, etc will be the likely ones to fall at their 7th draft slot.

No bitterness for James Yap after loss: ‘It’s Rain or Shine’s time to win title’
Rey Joble, InterAKTV · Monday, August 6, 2012 · 7:48 pm
There was no hint of bitterness or frustration in James Yap’s face shortly after his B-MEG Llamados lost the 2012 Governors’ Cup to the Rain or Shine Elasto Painters.
“Panahon na nila para mag-champion,” said Yap, who averaged better than 24 points in the last three games of the series in a losing effort. He spent several minutes congratulating various members of the Rain or Shine franchise after Game Seven Sunday night. Before joining the PBA, Yap had a Philippine Basketball League stint with Welcoat, which is owned by the same company that owns Rain or Shine.
Elasto Painters owner Raymond Yu said that winning the title was a dream come true for the underdog squad.
“We dared to dream and now we have accomplished our dream of winning a PBA championship,” said Yu moments after his team’s win. He said even people who were close to him had a hard time believing the Elasto Painters could pull it off.
“We have this Sunday basketball group and a lot of my friends were telling me that we will have a difficult time winning the championship given the experience and the firepower of B-MEG. But we were confident we will win. I visited our practice on Saturday and I saw on the eyes of the players their desire of winning the championship.”
Like Yap, Elasto Painters coach Yeng Guiao said it was all a matter of timing.
“The timing is perfect. The entry of the players that we need and the structure built for this team was right for us to succeed this season,” said Guiao.
Congrats sa Rain or Shine. Sila talaga yung 2nd favorite team ko sa PBA after Brgy. Ginebra.
sana makapick ng bigman si coach yeng.. lahat pede ng pumuntos eh , sana makakuha ng mala enrico villanueva nung redbull days, angas ng laro nun eh..iba talaga si coach yeng, jeff chan became a complete player ,parang superstar na rin and he trust above paul lee for there offense. Bakit ganon, parang indi lumalaki yung katawan ni norwood ,kahit bicep man lang.

JAMELLE CORNLEY will undergo surgery to repair ACL tear. Yes, he played the FINALS with an injury. He'll have to stay in the country longer
Matagal na rehab 'yan ah. Ang laki ng sinakripisyo ni Cornley just to give RoS their 1st championship.

TY Tang @TYTang_11
What a great news! Finally after so long I get to play with my old fellow @chris_tiu..so excited for the new season!
Management decision for RoS to get Tiu. They want to increase their fanbase. Plus he is one of them (Lee, Tang, Chan, Guiao, Jao, Que)
Congrats RoS. As much as I want Ginebra to get Tiu, I think your team needs him more. He will bring a good number of fans to your games and he can surely help boost the marketability of the franchise. Mabuti na rin na sa isang team outside of SMC and MVP napunta tong si Tiu. Plus, he is really a good fit to Yeng's system.
