BLOG: “Y” sa Mata

Ano nga ba ang ibig sabihin ng pagiging “Yengster”? Paano nga ba ito nabuo? Sino sino ba ang bumubuo ng grupong ito? At paano mo ba malalaman kung ang isang tao ay matatawag mong Yengster?

Simple lang naman ang ibig sabihin ng Yengsters. Kayang kaya ko nga sabihin sa tatlong salita eh: “Adik Kay Yeng”. Pero ipaliwanag pa rin natin ng mahaba-haba para naman matawag na “blog” Itong ginawa ko. Ang Yengsters ay isang grupo ng mga taong sumusuporta kay Yeng sa anumang mapagdaanan niya sa buhay, tagumpay man o kabiguan. Sila yung mga taong kinikilala siya bilang inspirasyon, ate, kaibigan, at syempre, idol. Sila yung mga taong nirerespeto siya bilang kaibigan, at bilang artista.

At sila yung mga taong mahal si Yeng.

Paano nga ba nabuo ang Yengsters? Simple lang, dahil kay Yeng. Nagsimula ang grupo dahil sa pagpunta ng bawat isa sa mga gigs, shows, concerts, mall tours, etc. hanggang sa makilala nila ang isa’t isa. Dahil sa pagsuporta kay Yeng, nabuo ang samahang walang kapantay. Samahang mas-tumitibay pa sa pagdaan ng panahon. Samahang hindi matitibag anumang pagsubok ang dumating.

Samahang may mga miyembrong mahal ang isa’t isa.

Sabi ko nga kanina, ang mga Yengsters ay mga taong mahal si Yeng. Sila yung mga taong gagawin lahat para lang maging masaya si Yeng. Sila yung mga taong gagawin lahat para lang makapunta sa gigs. Walang pera? Bumabagyo? Gagabihin? Masyadong malayo? Hindi alam papunta? Sus. Wala ‘yan sa kanila. Pupunta at pupunta sila hangga’t pwede. Kahit hindi alam kung paano umuwi. =))

Gagawin lahat, masuportahan lang si Yeng.

Susuportahan nila si Yeng ng walang hinihintay na kapalit. Kasi para sa kanila, makita lang si Yeng, masaya na. Wagas na kaligayahan.

Sila rin yung mga taong kahit ilang beses nang nakita si Yeng, parang first time pa rin. Lalo na pag kinausap sila. Tulala, speechless… In short, starstruck. Sila yung mga taong nirerespeto si Yeng. Alam nila ang limitasyon nila. Gaano man sila ka-close kay Yeng, hindi pa rin nila nakakalimutan na, “Ay, si Yeng Constantino nga pala ‘to.”

Kung titignan siguro ng ibang tao itong blog na ‘to, siguro sasabihin nila, “Grabe ang hirap naman maging Yengster.” Pero kung isa kang Yengster, “Weh mahirap ba ‘yun??”

Kung isa kang Yengster, walang mahirap, basta para kay Yeng.

Minsan, sa unang “pag-aadik” pa lang ng isang Yengster, makikita mo na agad yung kislap sa mga mata niya. Bihira lang yung mga taong may “Y” sa mata. Ako? Hindi ko nga alam kung may “Y” ako sa mata nung unang pag-aadik ko. Basta alam ko lang, mahal ko si Yeng.

Ikaw? May “Y” ka ba sa mata?

hello sa inyo lalo na sa mga active dito sa pex at sa lahat ng bumibisita... alam ko naman na alam nyo na may sakit ako ngayon... mejo matagal narin toh... pero gagaling narin ako eh kase alam ko naman na lagi nyo ko pinagppray..

wala lang napadaan lang ako para mag hello sainyo... nagulat ako kase page 61 na pala kayo dito? ang bilis naman...

naeexcite na tlaga ako sa music video shoot ko, sa thursday yata yun... kaya hinahantay ko tlaga ang pagwala ng sakit ko ayoko naman kaseng magshoot ng matamlay... hehehehe... pero kung may sakit parin ako nextweek eh mapipilitan akong maglabas ng kapangyarihan kahit nanghihina na ahahahahahah!

excited na ko for summer! yengsters outing nanaman sana maksama kayonglahat pati yung mga nasa ibang bansa! hehehehe!(cross fingers)

may mga nagawa akong bagong kanta recently... naeexcite narin ako sa bagong bandang pinaplano ko... pero syempre jan parin ang Morning Glory... gusto ko rin gumwa ng indipendent album kasama sila...

gusto ko yung mga pics sa page 1...
natuwa ako lalo na yung samin ng band ko...

salamat nga pala at nagustuhan nyo ang project namin ni Avid yung video ng "wag na"... cute noh? sa mga di pa nakakvote sa mYX.. text nyo lang MYX VOTE WAG NA at isend sa 2366... yaaan!!!!!

Yengsters! There is a lot of reasons for you to be excited with Yeng Constantino. Aside from her shows like M. U. Live, she will have a concert this coming August 5, Friday, 8 pm at the Aliw Theater. With guests Gloc 9 and Raimund Marasigan. It will be her second major concert and she as well is very much excited for this project. She has been busy lately one of which is directing Jaime Rivera's latest music video "Letting Go".

New single from her "Lapit" album is "SIGURO". Music video out on MYX! Directed by Avid Liongoren featuring Ramon Bautista. The same director ng Jeepney Lovestory which made her win 5 major awards at the MYX Music Awards.

She has a Live DVD out from Star Records, "YENG VERSIONS LIVE". Its a compilation of classic OPM hits from the 70's, 80's to 90's. Songs from Florante, Eheads, Blue Jeans, Apo, Yano and more with musical director is Jack Rufo. It will be released on the second week of July 2011.

Rock and Roll with Yeng Constantino on Her Second Major Concert

Anyone who doesn't know Yeng Constatino?! I am guessing you were born only yesterday. Even kids and toddlers know her songs and sing them in the school fairs. Too bad I only get to watch her and hear her song in ASAP, and I am just soooo sad that I won't be here in Manila for her Second Major Concert entitled Rakenrol Jamming with Yeng Constatino on August 5, 2011 at the Aliw Theater.

Yeng is a product of reality-based tv show, Pinoy Dream Academy winning the Grand Star Dreamer award, and now she is known as the Pop Rock Princess of the Philippines. After her winning, Star Records launched her first album entitled "Salamat" which reached Gold Record, Platinum Record and 3x Platinum Record in just several months. Maybe it helped that the album carried 7 original compositions (out of 10) which highlights her talent.

If I would list all her awards here, I am afraid I would reach my blog's maximum character count. Let me just say that she bagged almost all awards from the recent Myx Music Awards.

Interesting enough, I found out that Yeng is not just a singer and an artist, but a DIRECTOR too. She directed Jaime Rivera's video for the song "Letting Go". She has also elevated music production with a new DVD album entitled Yeng Versions Live which compiles OPM songs from 70s to 90s with songs from Florante, Eheads, Blue Jeans, Apo, Yano and more. I am sure even mom and dad can relate!

Too bad I won't be able to see her, hear her (and maybe meet her?) during her second major concert on August 5th. I would just await pictures, and blog reviews as she rock the stage with Raymund Marasigan of Sandwich (it's going to be wild!) and Gloc9 (I am not sure if she'll do a little rapping).

What is it about Yeng Constantino that makes you like her?

I love the passion and effort that she puts into everything she does. I love her sincerity. I love the way she dresses. I love the sound of her voice both when she sings or speaks in both English and Tagalog. I think Yeng is a great role model for girls. She's really herself and she doesn't hide who she is, and I think that's sexy, haha. Ok, so …everything.

Who are you going to collaborate with next?

Not sure yet, but I really want to collaborate with Yeng on an English or "Taglish" song.

Are you courting Yeng Constantino?

Yeng and I are already married …she just doesn't know it yet
