    Short Story Series 1 - First Encounter




    FIRST ENCOUNTER

    “Mark, that call was from the hospital… My wife is now in labor… It’s our third child and I’ve always made it a point to be there for her.” Mr. Villa elatedly informed him. “We’re expecting the baby tomorrow yet but… Anyway, pare, I’ll take this with me…” taking the folder with him… “and I will study your proposal and probably make suggestions of my own. I’ll call you, say, two days from now.”

    After shaking hands, Mr. Villa left stopping briefly at the counter to talk to the cashier.

    Mark was confident as he left the restaurant. “I could have clinched that deal tonight if not for that emergency.” Mark thought. “At least kinuha nya ang proposal ko…” He further enthused.

    Mark was still thinking about business when the elevator opened at the ground floor there he saw her walking towards the bar, her back towards him and found himself following her.

    She sat at the far end of the bar and did not seem to be waiting for anyone and he wondered… “What is she doing here alone?” He asked himself observing her every move. The bartender, as soon as he saw her, gave her a drink without her even ordering her drinks. “She must be a regular.” He mused.

    “She didn’t look like a hooker.” Far from it, he construed looking at her intently as he sat at the opposite end. She’d looked… Not lonely, but alone. Definitely alone. Like him. Maybe that was the reason she aroused more than simple lust in him. But how could he tell nowadays. And there, he could see the men at the bar with them eyeing her direction.

    “Sino ‘yang bagong dating, pare.” Mark heard one of the men ask the bartender looking at the woman.

    “Ah si Miss Heart po… Madalas din po sya dito pero lagi pong mag-isa.” The bartender replied as he replenished the man’s drink.

    “Pwes, ngayon, di na sya mag-iisa!” The man said confidently as he looked at his two companions.

    Mark saw the bartender’s apprehension and hesitantly warned, “Eh sir, pumupunta lang po sya dito para mag-unwind. Ayaw po nya, sir, yung iistorbohin sya ng mga gustong makipagkilala. Eh… minsan na pong may sumubok, at nakipagkilala kahit sinabihan na namin eh pinahiya nya yung lalaki. Nagkaroon pa nga po ng scene dito noon at na-dyaryo pa… Di ko lang po alam kung ano talaga ang nangyari pagkatapos noon pero di na po bumalik yung lalaki dito.”

    “Ah, ganun ba…”

    “Pare…” one of his companions butted in… “baka malaman pa yan ng girlfriend mo… lagot…” Nagtawanan sila at umiling-iling ang lalaki sabay sabing… “Sayang maganda pa naman suplada pala…”

    Seemingly uninterested in a conversation that did not concern him, Mark tapped the counter to get the bartender’s attention.

    “Yes, sir?” the bartender asked.

    “Beer, please.” Mark ordered.

    Just as the bartender slid the mug of beer at the counter that stopped right in front of him, Mark saw Heart signaled for another order of her drink and he shook his head. “At malakas pa palang uminom.” He tsked and continued observing her.

    Mark was just returning from the comfort room when he saw Heart took something out of her bag but dropped it and broke into two pieces. Mark picked it up for her and rewarded him with a smile and muttered her gratitude without really looking at him. “Thanks.” She said simply before he turned to leave.

    “Darn it!!!” Mark heard her say and looked at her again. Nakita niya ang pagkadimaya sa mukha ni Heart habang tinitignan ang nahating cell phone sa kamay nya.

    “Miss, can I help?” Mark offered seeing her desperation. And was there a tear there in her eyes that just threatened to fall?

    Still not looking at him, she gave a curt reply. “ No thank you…” then hesitantly continued… “unless you have a cellphone for me to put my SIM into…”

    “I’m sorry… I haven’t had time to buy myself one…” His reply earned him a sardonic smile from her.

    “Yeah, right.” that sneer on her face, Mark thought, was cute.

    Mark chuckled. “I just arrived a week ago and had been busy since then that buying a cellphone slipped my mind completely.”

    Heart raised her head about to say something but decided not to and just nodded her head, swallowed the words and turned to look at her broken cellphone again. Frustrated, she replaced her cellphone in her bag and got her bill from the bartender. She got off the stool she was sitting on and feeling a bit tipsy, she nearly fell off balance if not for Mark who was standing right behind her. She stiffened defensively and immediately he withdrew his arm.

    “Whoops!” Heart blurted out and swayed as Mark moved a step away from her. To prevent herself from falling, she immediately grasped his arm for balance. He then grabbed hold of her, as she leaned against his sturdy chest. “Hmm… you smell nice.” She thought allowed and heard him chuckle.

    “Easy…” Mark grabbed her to prevent her fall. “Listen, Miss – “

    “Heart. You can call me Heart.”

    “Heart, listen, I’ll take you to your car. Are you able to drive?” Heart looked up at Mark and only then she realized just how much she’d had to drink when she couldn’t even see his face as clearly as she should.

    “I did not bring my car. I was about to call my driver to pick me up but my phone got busted. I’m okay. I’ll take the taxi.” She assured him.

    “Look, I’m leaving anyway. If you trust me enough, I’ll give you a lift home.” Mark offered.

    “It’s okay. I don’t live far from here. I can manage. Thanks anyway.”

    Heart turned to go but the sudden movement made her sway and if not for Mark’s sturdy stance, she would have fallen.

    “I’m sorry.” Heart said taking Mark’s arm again for support.

    “Come on, I’ll take you home. No buts, please.” Mark insisted this time and Heart knew it would be pointless to argue at this time and allowed him to support her.

    Inside the car, Heart gave him her address and closed her eyes. She did not intend to fall asleep but she did.

    Naririnig na ni Mark ang lugar kung saan nakatira si Heart pero hindi pa sya nakapasok sa loob sa kawalan ng pagkakataon at habang binabaybay ang daan, namangha sya sa laki ng mga bahay and he wondered kung talaga bang may nakatira sa mga iyon o wala.

    “Talaga palang malalaki ang mga bahay dito, ano? Sabi ni Mark sabay lingon sa katabi na noo’y di nya namalayang nakatulog na pala. Nang malapit na sya sa lugar na patutunguhan, inihinto ni Mark sa tapat ng bakanteng lote ang sasakyan at saka buong paghangang pinagmasdan ang katabi.

    Mark swallowed a lump in his throat as he looked at her and couldn’t help reacting to her slightly opened mouth inviting for a kiss.

    “You are in big trouble just thinking about it, boy!” looking down just below his stomach where a slight bulge was already evident. “Calm down and stay down, you SOB!” He admonished himself.

    Mark was laughing at himself when Heart stirred awake.

    “Andito na ba tayo, Mang Gener? She asked, slightly disoriented.

    “Hindi ako si Mang Gener. Ako si Mark. I offered to take you home from the bar, don’t you remember? O talaga lang malakas ang tama mo.”

    “I’m not feeling very well.” Yun lang ang nasabi ni Heart sabay bukas ng pinto at tumakbo sa bakanteng lote na ikinagulat ni Mark at mabilis syang sinundan.

    Sa kawalan ng mahahawakan o masasandalan man lang, napaluhod si Heart sa hilo habang isinusuka ang nainom at nakain nya. Muntik na rin syang sumubsob kung hindi sya naagapang kabigin ni Mark.

    “Hey, where do you think you’re going?” Biro ni Mark sa kanya habang hinahagod ang likod nya.

    Sa taranta ni Mark, he did not know where his hand was and what it was doing until it was too late. As soon as he realized it, his reaction was immediate. He could feel himself harden against her back. Reluctantly, he slid his hand down to her stomach hoping Heart, in her drunken state wouldn’t realize what had happened and what she’d done to him as a result.

    “Why?” She asked looking up at him with those sleepy eyes.

    “Why what? His gaze dropped to her mouth wanting so much to capture those generous lips with his.

    “Why’d you stop what yer doin’?” She tried to open her eyes and he chuckled at her slurred words.

    “You’ve had one too many and it wasn’t meant to happen that way.” He tried to explain though he knew it was fruitless. Obviously, she wouldn’t even remember all these tomorrow. Or so he hoped.

    “It was my first time and it felt good.” She confessed.

    “Yes, I know and I also am aware that you are drunk like a fish so I’d better take you home. I am not a saint, you know.”

    And I’ll definitely hate myself tomorrow, he told himself.

    “Touch me again.” She begged almost asleep.

    Mark almost gave in but he knew he wouldn’t be a man to be proud of if he did.

    “Hey, baby… I’ll make you a deal, okay? Open your eyes and look at me…” He caught her chin between thumb and forefinger. Tilted her head so he could seeher properly. He heard her little catch of breath and a smooth hand wrapped around his forearm.raised her face to his. “If, in the days to come and you are sober enough, you still remember me and what happened here, I’ll make love to you until you beg me to stop. For now, this will be enough.” He kissed her on her forehead and helped her get inside the car.

    PROLOGUE:


    Scene: A deserted dark alley at a bad neighborhood in the middle of the night.
    A woman, Cathy Villanueva is walking alone. She is looking warily around her.

    Cathy: (thinking) Why, oh why did I come here by myself. Maybe I should turn around and leave? No! No, this is a great tip. I can't give up. I've been in more dangerous situations than this. I'll just go a little bit further, if he's not there, then I'll leave...

    She hears footsteps behind her. Cathy turns around.

    Cathy: Hello? Mohawk ? Is that you?

    She sees no one and continues walking. She walks a few more steps and hears the footsteps again. She looks back and sees no one again. She's getting nervous.

    Suddenly, several huge, gross looking rats run in front of her across the alley, scaring her half to death.

    Cathy: (thinking) Okay, That's my cue to leave. I'm outta here.

    She turns around and starts to walk towards the direction of her parked car.

    Suddenly, someone appears from the shadows and rushes over behind her. The stranger stabs her multiple times and runs away. Cathy was so surprised, she wasn't even able to scream or put up a fight. She falls on the ground in a bloody heap and loses consciousness.

    Cathy wakes up. She feels excruciating pain on her back and sides. She feels movement and realizes she is being carried. She opens her eyes and looks right at a man's face. Her vision is hazy but she can see that he looks very serious.

    Cathy: (moaning weakly) I've.. been... stabbed. Am ... I … dead?

    Man: (soothing voice) Hang in there. I'm taking you to the hospital.

    Cathy: (weakly) Who... are... you?

    The man doesn't answer as he continues to walk quickly while carrying her. By now, they are both soaked in blood. Cathy tries to move and she manages to swing her arm and she knocks the man's eyeglasses off his face.

    Man: Relax. Save your strength.

    Cathy loses consciousness again but the last thought in her head was how sad the man's eyes had looked.



    Scene: Hospital room.

    Cathy is laying on the hospital bed watching TV. She's bandaged up and still has bruises.

    There are several 'Get Well' flowers and balloons in the room, one of them is a large, beautiful arrangement of purple and white variegated roses.

    From the TV: The death toll from counterfeit Viagra has risen to 55. A man from Sydney, Australia is the latest casualty. Consumers are urged to get their prescription medication only from reputable sources. In local news, Cathy Villanueva from the TV show “Under Scrutiny with Cathy Villanueva” was hospitalized last night with multiple stab wounds. Police are currently investigating and there are no suspects...

    A doctor and nurse step inside the room to check on Cathy.

    Doctor: How are you feeling, Miss Villanueva?

    Cathy: I feel okay, considering what happened.

    Doctor: You are a very lucky woman. If you had gotten to the hospital just a few minutes later, you
    wouldn't have made it. You lost quite a lot of blood.

    Cathy: I realize that now.

    Doctor: How is the pain? Are you able to tolerate it?

    Cathy: Yes, the pain medicine help a lot.

    Doctor looks at her wounds, assisted by the nurse.

    Doctor: You are recovering quite well. If things continue this way, I may discharge you soon.

    Cathy: Thanks, Doctor. By the way, I want to ask about who brought me here?

    Nurse: We don't know who. The man left right away.

    Cathy: That's too bad. I really wanted to thank him.

    Nurse: Actually, the police wanted to talk to him too.

    Doctor: Speaking of the police, they are here and they want to know if they can talk to you. I told them that they can, but only for a few minutes.

    Cathy: Okay.

    The doctor and nurse leave the room. Two police detectives enter.

    Detective 1: Good Afternoon, Miss Villanueva.

    Cathy: Good Afternoon.

    Detective 2: We promise not to take up too much of your time.

    Detective 1: We just want to ask you a few questions.

    Cathy: That's okay. I understand.

    Detective 1: Tell us everything that you remember about that night. Start with what you were doing at that place.

    Cathy: Well, I was at the office and I received a tip on a story. A person who has information called me and he said he'll meet me at that alley.

    Detective 1: A telephone tip?

    Cathy: Yes.

    Detective 2: Who was it? Who called you?

    Cathy: I don't know who he is. He said to call him 'Mohawk'. I didn't recognize his voice.

    Detective 2: You didn't know who he was yet you went there by yourself?

    Cathy: He said to come alone. He said he would leave if I bring anyone with me.

    They two detectives were shaking their heads in disapproval.

    Cathy: I know, I know, it wasn't wise. But this is my job. I'm an Investigative Journalist. This is not the first time I went to meet a prospective informant this way.

    Detective 1: What was your story about?

    Cathy: (hesitating) I'd like to cooperate with you. Can it be kept confidential? I don't want my competition to 'scoop' me.

    Detective 2: We can't make promises like that, Miss Villanueva.

    Detective 1: Ma'am, you are laying here with stab wounds. You are worried about getting 'scooped' ?

    Cathy: Okay, okay. I'll tell you, but please keep it between us if possible. The tip is about a married politician who is having an affair with a movie star.

    Detective 1: That's your story? That happens all the time. That's not much of a story any more.

    Cathy: True. But it is still a big story if they are both married men and they are colluding to give large government contracts to their relatives.

    Detective 2: Who are they ?

    Cathy: I don't know! This 'Mohawk' said he would tell me when I meet him. He said he had some pictures to give me too.

    Detective 1: Did you get a good look at the person who stabbed you?

    Cathy: No. It was really dark and it happened very quickly. I heard footsteps behind me but didn't see anyone.

    Detective 2: Did the assailant say anything?

    Cathy: No, he or she just stabbed me. I didn't even hear the person approach.

    Detective 1: Are you saying it could be a woman?

    Cathy: I have no idea.

    Detective 2: Do you know anyone at all who might want to harm you?

    Cathy: Unfortunately, at my line of work, I've had my share of angry emails and death threats.

    Detective 1: Can we get a list?

    Cathy: Sure. The threats that looked serious have been reported to the police.

    Detective 2: What else do you remember from that night?

    Cathy: A man saved me.

    Detective 1: Yes, we wanted to ask you about that too. Do you know who he was?

    Cathy: No, I don't know who he is. I passed out and when I came to, he was carrying me.

    Detective 1: Can you describe him?

    Cathy: I only saw him for a moment. He's clean cut, wears glasses.

    Detective 2: It was odd that he just disappeared after bringing you here.

    Cathy: If you are thinking he was the one who stabbed me, you are mistaken. He didn't do it.

    Detective 1: How can you be so sure?

    Cathy: (having a difficult time explaining herself) He seemed like a ... friend, not an enemy. Besides, if he tried to kill me, why would he bring me here to the hospital.

    At that moment, the nurse comes in the room.

    Nurse: The doctor said only a few minutes. I think the patient should rest now.

    Detective 2: Okay, we're leaving. Miss Villanueva, if you recall anything else about the attack, please contact us.

    Cathy: Yes I will. And if you find out anything about the man brought me to the hospital, please let me know so I can thank him.

    There's a lot of activity in the hospital hallway. Doctors, nurses, orderlies, patients, visitors are absorbed by their own world. A man is among them. He catches a sight of Cathy sleeping peacefully as the nurse leaves Cathy's room. He seems to blend in the background.




    EPISODE 1 : New Years Eve

    Few months after …

    Scene: Cathy's office at a TV production company.

    Cathy is all by herself in the office. The TV is on and playing a show that is counting down the New Years.

    From the TV: 10.. 9... 8.. 7... 6.. 5.. 4.. 3...2.. 1.. Happy New Year everybody!! Welcome to 2011!! Wooooh!! (music and sounds of people having a good time) Happy New Year!!!

    Cathy looks up from the work she is doing.

    Cathy: (thinking) Wow! I didn't even realize it's midnight.

    She take a bottle of champagne that was on her desk and pours a little bit in a glass and takes a sip.

    Her cell phone rings. She looks at who's calling and answers it. It's her assistant Susie.

    Cathy: Hi Susie. Happy New Year!

    Cathy can hear sounds of a party on the other line.

    Susie: Happy New Year! Are you still in the office?

    Cathy: Yes.

    Susie: I knew it! (telling someone else ) I told you guys, she’s still at work!

    Cathy: I didn't realize the time, but I'm almost done.

    Susie: Hurry up and come here! It's not too late. This party is epic!

    Cathy: I just have a few more things to do.

    Susie: The work will be there tomorrow, it's not going anywhere but New Years only comes once a year!

    Cathy: All right! I'll hurry up.

    Susie: There are so many yummy guys here, you are so missing out. Oh hang on..

    Susie: (talking to someone at the party) Yes, yes I'm calling Cathy now (pause) What else, of course she's still at the office. (pause) Yes, the Cathy Villanueva from TV. I work with her you know.(pause) Yeah, she's single and ready to mingle! Ha ha ha!

    Susie: (back to Cathy) Get your a$s in here quick! We need to let our freak flag fly!

    Cathy: Okay, okay! Leave some for me. Ha ha

    Cathy hangs up smiling. She stands up and looks at her pile of work and for a second considers leaving without finishing. But she sits back down and types on the computer keyboard. Cathy takes a sip of champagne from her glass and continues working.




    Later, Cathy wakes up realizing she'd fallen asleep at her desk. She looks at the wall clock. The room is pretty dark.

    Cathy: (thinking) Oh no, do we have a brown out? What time is it! I can't believe I fell asleep! Susie's going to be mad at me.. maybe I can still catch up to the party.

    She stands up to go but pauses. She feels that someone else is in the room with her.

    Cathy: Hello?

    From the shadows a man slowly emerges. Behind the man, there's a faint light coming from the windows so she can really only see his shape framed against the moonlight. She can't see his face at all. Somehow, Cathy doesn't feel scared. Something about this man is familiar to her, as if she's expecting him.

    He lifts one arm and reaches out to her. Cathy takes his hand. He envelopes her in an embrace that melds their bodies together. Cathy is hyper aware of every inch of her that is pressed against him. A moment later, the man broke their embrace, leaving Cathy feeling disappointed for only a moment, until she realizes that he did that so he can kiss her. As his head inches closer to her, he's still in the shadows and she still can't see his whole face but she caught a glimpse of his eyes, the sad eyes that are familiar to her. As if it was the most natural thing in the world, they kiss.

    Loud Voice: Hello! Miss Villanueva! Are you asleep?! It's security, just doing our rounds!

    Cathy wakes up abruptly. It takes her a couple of seconds to realize where she is and that it was all just a dream.

    Cathy: (guiltily) Oh, sorry. I'm awake! I was just getting ready to go!

    Cathy stands up and gathers her things together. She looks at the wall clock.

    Cathy: (thinking) Yup, it's too late. I might as well just go home. Geez, what was that dream about? I think I need to find a boyfriend.

    Several hours after midnight, Cathy walks out of the offices and to her parked car. She starts her car.
    Cathy waves to the security guard as she passes him.

    Cathy: Happy New Year!

    Guard: Happy New Year!

    Cathy drives away. A moment later, another car starts up and follows her car.




    Scene: Journalism Awards banquet at a fancy hotel ballroom.

    Cathy looks beautiful in a purple shimmery evening gown. Susie is wearing tight bright red form fitting gown. It looks like her boobs her falling out. They have a chance to talk before the others in their group arrive.

    Susie: Cathy, what happened to you last night? You said you were coming to Gina's birthday bash.

    Cathy: Sorry Susie, I just have so much work to do.

    Susie: Ugh! Just like at the New Years Eve party. You said you were coming but you left me hanging
    again. I'm getting tired of getting stood up by you!

    Cathy: I'm really sorry. You know I'm not a good party friend.

    Susie: That's the understatement of the year.

    Cathy: I was just doing a little rewrite for a segment that is airing next week, I have to finish it.

    Susie: Why don't you let the writers take care of that, geez! That's what they are there for.

    Cathy: I know they won't be able to finish because of the holidays. Sometimes I have to be the writer.

    Susie: Yes, and you're also sometimes the producer, editor, host, cameraman, sound man, make-up artist. I think I saw you tinker with the lighting one day too.

    Cathy: Ha ha, You're exaggerating! I'm just helping. It's my name on the show and I want it to be the best it can be.

    Susie: Yes, but at what cost to you? All you do is work. You don't have a life outside of work, do you?

    Cathy: I suppose my career is my life.

    Susie: You didn't even see your family during Christmas.

    Cathy: We spoke on the phone. My parents understand that I can't travel when we have so many deadlines.

    Susie: They don't mind?

    Cathy: I don’t think so. They never said they do.

    Susie: You're their only child and they don't mind that they don't see you very much?

    Cathy: They have lots of friends in the retirement community in Florida. Besides when I was growing up, they were career driven too. If anyone could understand commitment to work, it would be them.

    Susie: All I know is that you need some fun.

    Cathy: You're probably right. I've been having these strange dreams...

    Susie: Really? Do tell...

    Just then, other members of their TV show team arrive and they sit on the table designated for them. They are all dressed to the nines too.

    Coworker 1: I'm so excited. I think we have a great chance of winning.

    Coworker 2: I am sure we are going to win! My aunt, who's a fortune teller, told me.

    Cathy: I'm just thrilled we were nominated.

    Susie: The nomination is nice, but I'd be pissed if we don't win. We deserve it.

    Cathy: I think we deserve it too but this is just our first year on the air. It's already quite an accomplishment that we got this recognition.

    Coworker 3: Well, some say you (nodding at Cathy) are a sure bet for Outstanding Host.

    Coworker 1: No one deserves it more. You're the only one who put yourself in danger and got hurt
    going after a story!

    Susie: Our network really squeezed every amount of sympathy and publicity from that, didn’t they?

    Coworker 1: Cathy, we didn't expect you back at work so soon after. Are you sure you are okay?

    Cathy: I'm really fine. Sitting at that hospital with nothing to do was driving me nuts!

    Coworker 4: That really was a dangerous! Meeting someone alone!

    Coworker 5: You could have been killed or worse!

    Coworker 1: I just started working with you guys. Is it true that you have put yourself in risky situations several times?

    Susie: You guys have no idea. We always said Cathy has some kind of a guardian angel that protects her.

    Cathy: This is the first time something bad has actually happened.

    Susie: Maybe your guardian angel was busy.

    Cathy: Ha ha, maybe. But I did have a real life guardian angel who saved my life.

    Susie: The guy who took you to the hospital?

    Cathy: Yes.

    Coworker 2: Did you ever find out who he is?

    Cathy: No, and I want to. He couldn't have disappeared into thin air.

    The ceremony starts.

    Finally, it came to their category.

    Presenter: ..And the winner for Outstanding Host of a News Magazine Television Program is... Cathy Villanueva of “Under Scrutiny by Cathy Villanueva.”

    Audience claps. Largest claps and hoots from Cathy's table.

    Cathy stands up and walks to the podium. She's got a giant smile on her face.

    Cathy: Thank you, thank you so much. I'd like to thank our wonderful team who makes me look good....

    From the shadows in the large ballroom, a pair of bespectacled eyes are watching Cathy as she gives her speech. A rare smile slowly appeared below those eyes.




    Scene: Outside the venue, at the end of that night.

    Cathy's TV show team are in very high spirits.

    Coworker 3: Yes!! Yes!! We bagged the biggest awards Best News Magazine Show and Best Host!

    Coworker 2: Didn't I tell you guys!! My aunt was right, we were going to win. Her fortune telling was right on!

    Coworker 1: Maybe I should go see your aunt to get my fortunes read too.

    Coworker 5: Hmmph! I think it has less to do with your aunt than with Cathy's efforts.

    Cathy: It's due to ALL our efforts, guys! We are a team and we won this together. I'm so proud of all of us!

    Coworker 1: I think it's time to celebrate!

    Cathy: Of course! Let's go to our network's party, it's at this hotel, down this way. Let's go!

    The group walks to the direction of the club with Cathy walking behind them. Cathy gets the feeling someone is watching them and looks back, but she sees no one. She turns and catches up to her group.





    Happy New Year my Inamorata. I worry that you are not giving yourself enough time to rest. Are you getting enough sleep? Are you eating right? My dearest, you work too hard. You missed another party with your friends. I'm concerned but at the same time, I feel relief that you didn't go out with your friends. I am tortured by the thought that you may meet someone before I get a chance with you. The men in this planet must be fools. Why would someone as amazing as you remain free for so long. I am often bewildered why no one has not claimed you for himself. That is certainly what I want to do.


    Congratulations my sweet, no one is more deserving of that win than you. Do you feel me pulling for you? I rejoice in your triumph. I'm also celebrating with you. You are not only beautiful but also smart. My admiration for you grows daily.

    You look so stunning tonight. Purple suits you like no other color. You are beautiful, flawless, luminous. Your face, your eyes, your lips, your body, everything about you is perfection. Surely there is no one more gorgeous than you.



    I'm right here, my love. I'm waiting for you. Today you turned around as if you can see me, as if you are looking for me. Can you? I'm right here my Inamorata, can you feel me? Can you feel me yearning for you with every fiber of my being? Why can't I have the guts to come up to you, introduce myself, to tell you how I feel. Why am I such a coward! I hate myself! All I can do is worship you from afar.



    Good night, my Inamorata. I hope you sleep well better than I do. I hope slumber doesn't elude me again tonight. I'll think of the gentle sway of your hips as I lay in bed, while wishing you were next to me.


    My heart, I dream of holding you in my arms, kissing you. I often fantasize of walking up to you, and your heart instantly recognizes my heart and no words need to be uttered between us.     Lumipat na pala kayo dito. I was thinking pa naman gagawa ako ulit ng thread kasi hindi ko pa natatapos ang pagpost ng screencaps ng Diva at Little Star. Hindi na pala pwede mag edit. I asked help kay Blue sa mga SCs ng dalawang shows ni Mark. Sa old thread pala niya pinost instead na dito. Well, okey na rin.

    Blue, hindi ko rin makuha ang mga SCs. Ikaw na ang magpost.

    Ang sarap everytime i come to Mark Anthony's thread, its like a jaw dropping experience. Grabe ang dedications ng bawat MAFias at Eggies ni Mark. Especially si Bluecolor. She never fails to capture every moment of Mark's appearances on tv. Hence, the tv and movie timeline pictures are great! The teleMAFia Series is so awesome. Isa sa mga inaabangan ko rito sa thread ni Mark ang mga stories.
