I think ang innovation nanaman ng Sony is yung sa graphics.. may touch panel din daw ito sa likod ng unit. Medyo di ko gets kung para saan yun kung meron naman na siyang dalawang analog stick.

Tingin ko mas preferred pa rin ng marami ang HD over 3D lalo na sa gaming. Novelty lang naman ang advantage ng 3D.

New Sony PSP 2 to Ship with 3G, OLED Screen and Faster Processor

Come January 27, you’ll be able to see the new Sony PSP2! According to reports, Sony will unveil the device at a press event this Thursday. So, what are the things to look forward to in the new Sony PSP2?

A report from the Japanese news paper Nikkei stated that the PSP2 will ship first of all with 3G connectivity to be provided by Japan’s DoCoMo network. Through its 3G capability, users will be able to play games online and to download online content as well. However, making phone calls is not included. There’s no word whether it will be offered for free or will come with a monthly service plan.

Aside from the 3G capability, the new Sony PSP2 will be available with an OLED (organic light-emitting diode) screen with HD support. With such type of screen, users are really entitled to superb visuals. Since it’s a gaming device, the screen will most likely have the multitouch capability. Its slide design will reveal the controls.

A fast processor is a must since the PSP2 would have to deliver superior gaming performance. According to the Nikkei report, the processor to be imbedded in the PSP2 will be a new version of the Chip found in the PlayStation 3 game console.

Well Thursday couldn’t come too soon. By then we will know if all these features are really included in the Sony PSP2.
