    We have to read that chapter by chapter. It's better not to get ahead from one another. Knowing CICCI, she's a very fast reader. I think she finishes a book every time she sits on a toilet.

    @cyber, yes. we just need a start and end date and a reading plan (how many chapters per day/week) and limit the discussion based on the plan

    went to the library yesterday,cant believe my luck all three books were there and read the invisible thread last night.

    i wish i will have the opportunityto do same as laura,the main person in the book.

    Splendid! Of the 3 books suggested, I have read only The Elegance of the Hedgehog. The other 2 are for my upcoming book clubs meets this year....

    I am recusing myself from the club and discussions...I will just suggest books you might deem fit.

    Even though we haven't gotten enough participants to join in the discussion, I'm still currently reading Elegance of the Hedgehog. I'm now in the part where Ozu moves into rue de Grenelle.

    Thoughts: There's too much stereotyping in this book. I dont now what intelligence is for Ms. Barbery but I am certainly not agreeing with her that intelligence means reading literature and drinking tea.

    shantaram is the last book that excites me then nada till now.
    i won the raffle in my last non fiction book club the Steve Jobs book, super laki and it doesnt interest me much so i gave it to the good looking 50ish guy beside me.
