Its really advisable that you have hepa A vaccine as to protect your liver from further stress.

yong mga pamangkin ko may vaccine napo sila nung mga baby palang sila may pamangkin ako 10yrs old napo..sabi po kasi ang vaccine hanggang 5 years lang po ang itatagal sa katawan natin..eh pano po yon eh 10 yrs old napo pamangkin ko..syempre ayaw ko naman po sila mahawa.

5 yrs ang usual na tagal ng vaccines, pero its a case to case basis, usually after vaccination as an infant ang next dose ay when you reach your teens or before you enter college, but a hepa profile is still required.

@as long as healthy carrier ka your no infective and the chances of you transmittin them is very very low. plus hepa b i only transmitted sexually, or through blood. so dont worry as mababa ang chance na mahawa mo sila.

Good Morning, Doc!
Ang BP ko po ay consistent na 130/90. Wala naman po akong nararamdaman. Nagpa lab test na ako lahat, puro negative. Pati ECG ko normal naman daw.
Ano ba ang dapat kong gawin? Should I start taking maintenance medicine? Ano ba mga bawal na kainin?
Matakaw kase ako. Pero I don't drink and I don't smoke. I'm in my midThanks. 30s.

130/90 is still normal. specially kung normal ang blood tests mo, im assuming you dont have diabetes or any other medical problems. so.. No you dont have to take antihypertensives yet, but you have to regfularrly monitory your BP atleast twice or thrice a week, borderline na kasi ang BP mo.. just stay away from salty foods, and exercise and eat right

Chloramphenicol was the drug of choice for TF, and ciprofloxacin is the new drug of choice specially in the US. but in the PH where medical economics is a must, chloram is still used due to the fact thats its cheaper and i mean cheaper.

For Cardiac patients, im assuming hypertensive? CAD? and the likes. still cipro is the DOC

For renal patients, it depends on state of the patients kidneys, but i would give chloramphenicol.. as only little is cleared in the kidneys.. make sure to lower the dose to prevent sideeffects

doc tanong ko lang kung ano maipapayo nyo sa akin. may abdominal aneurysm po ako.4.5cm diameter.na detect po last oct 2007.ngyong 2011 naging 4.9cm na daw sabi sa ultrasound.ang problem ko po ngayon masakit ang loob ng paa (calf) hip at hamstring ko pag nglakad ng mga 200 meters na tuloy tuloy.pag tumigil ako then after 2-3 mins ok na nmn paglakad ko..ska madali mag manhid ang right toe ko.at mabigat ang right leg ko pag tinaas ko paa ko sa paghakbang.parang *** ugat sa loob ng groin ko masakit. ano po maipapayo nyo.thank you po

How old are you? are you overweight? lean? normal weight? underweight? atheletic? do you have any other medical condition besides your Abdominal aneurysm?

i think you have claudication, which is lack or insufficient delivery of oxygen to the legs. it would be better if you consult your doctor regarding that, and probably get an arterial duplex scan.

hi doc. thank you po sa pagsagot. 36/yo po ako.5 feet 4 inches height 148 lbs, medium built lang po.hindi po ako athletic.pero from age 12 to 23 sa bukid po ako work.buhat ng palay,araro,atbp maghapon magtrabaho sa bukid.minsan sa construction.taga buhat ng hollowblock, mix semento etc.mula 1998 po kasi sa office na ako work.so parang nabigla katawan ko na wala na physical activity ang katawan ko.so from 1998 to 2001 lagi po ako may migraine.at sumasakit ulo ko siguro once o twice per week.

then ng gym po ako mula jan 2004 to may 2005.light workout lang nmn ginagawa ko sa gym.nov 2005 na experience ko abdominal pain na hindi ako pinatulog.kahit na anong pwesto at take ng pain reliever

Year 2006 mga 3x to 5x ko naexperience ulit *** sakit ng tyan na hindi pinatulog hanggang nung oct2007, nagsusuka na ako at hnd makakain ng 1 day.so ngpa doktor na ako.4.1cm na aneurysm ayon sa ct scan every 6 months po ako nagpapa abdominal ultrasound. dito ko po naexperience almost a week na masakit tyan ko at hnd makakain.1 month po ako hindi nakapasok sa ofc.

August 2011 na experience ko po na masakit 2 legs ko.hnd ako makatayo,makalakad nagsusuka at parang may sumasakal sa 2 paa ko mula sa lower back. na detect po sa ultrasound na 4.9cm na *** diameter ng abdominal aneurysm ko.sabi ng doktor ko kailangan na daw operahan kaso natatakot po ako. hanggang ngayon po sep23,2011 masakit pa din ang paa ko after 3 mins na maglakad.pag pinisil ko ang calf ko masakit.pero pag naka pahinga na ng 3-5 mins hnd na masakit pag pinisil at nkakalakad na ulit ako na walang sakit.then after 3-4 mins ganun po ulit mararamdaman ko.

Salamat po ng marami sa pagbasa ng mahabang kwento ko. Baka po may mairefer kayo na doktor na pwede ko mag pa checkup.thank you po ulit.

mula po 2007 pala sabi ng doktor ko take ako ng neobloc 50 mg twice a day baka daw po ang cause ng aneurysm ko is high blood pressure.pero lagi nmn po 120/70 or 110/70 at 130/80 bp ko. Wala naman po ako ibang karamdaman.hindi po ako smoker, *** pag inom ng alak (beer, redhorse gin) ay tinigilan ko na po mula 2006.hindi po ako gaano kumakain ng karne.madalasan gulay at fish ulam ko.thank you po.

Continue mo *** *** diet mo, thats good. about neobloc it would be advisable to take it to prevent your bp from going up and to lessen your heart rate as to not aggravate your aneurysm, which i think also need to be operated on.

Regarding your legs, it does look like claudication, it can be related to your growing aneurysm. where are you currently stayin? Just visit the nearest tertiary hospital, and get a arterial duplex scan of the legs. You might have arterioscelrosis, which is hardening of the blood vessels, which is related to your aneurysm and to your problem with the legs.

If your moms xray has a comment such as old ptb, that means she has had Pulmonary Tuberculosis somtime in her life but has already been treated.. that means its a scar on her lungs

Doc, ano ang negative effects ng tonsillectomy for adults? Tsaka ang scars sa lungs na tanong ni SaintDestroyer, masama po ba yun? What are the negative effects of those scars?

ask ko lang po tungkol sa condition ng father ko about sa legs nya, madalas po sa gabi hindi daw siya mapakali dahil sa legs niya. restless legs syndrome yata po ang tawag dun. ano po ang marerecommend niyo para sa kanya?

in adults there is almost no effect.. the tonsils serves as part of our immune system but only when we are young.. as we grow up its function lessens. so besides a small amount of immunity that we lose once we get a tonsilectomy, there really aren't any major side effects to it.

As to the scar in the lungs.. as you would expect in any scar sa katawan for one is it there for life.. it would make you a little more susceptible to infections in the respiratory tract.

is the diagnosis of RLS confirmed? has he been thoroughly worked up? is he taking any medication for it?.. If his RLS is secondary meaning there is a cause to it either be it metabolic, malnutrition or other causes then we treat that to lessen his RLS.. but if its idiopathic or primary there is little as of now that we can do.. the goal is just to lessen the symptoms.. massage helps, hot and cold compress can also lesen the symptoms.. intake of multivitamins and B complex can also help. so far acupuncture also has said to lessen the symptoms.. lastly healthy diet, avoidance of caffeine, alcohol and smoking can also reduce symptoms of RLS

yes RLS is autosomal dominant.. meaning theres a 50/50 chance you will also acquire RLS
