Hi po doc,

It's been nice to see that there is a medical doctor here who is willing to help eventhough he is busy with his residency training.

My question doc is about genital wart. I believe i contracted the disease way back '05 with another woman (nasa huli talaga pagsisisi and i promised never na magloko!). I am already married at that time and we've been having sex since. About a year or two ago, may napansin nako small pimple-like protrusion sa base ng penis ko pero diko pinansin coz common sakin magkaroon ng pimple from time to time sa genital area coz oily din ang skin ko down there. Last dec. Lang ako medyo naging concern nung ipakita ko at itanong sa mrs ko kung ano sa palagay nya un and she said baka wart so i had them checked up by a urologist and he said wart nga, he then prescribed me aldara but based on my research it can take up to months before it can rid of the warts so nainip ako which resorted to natural approach, apple cider vinegar. Natanggal naman sya pero uli lumabas dalawa maliit. Nagpahinga muna ako sa vinegar coz irritating talaga sya. Nag abstain na rin ako sa sex with my wife after my check up.

Eto ang gumugulo sa isip ko, eversince i contracted the disease and having sex with my wife, bakit ni minsan wala syang napansin tumubo sa kanya and eversince nag pap smear sya negative din sya sa hpv and without abnormal findings (latest nya was dec last year)?

Is it possible that she had built an immunity to the virus kaya di sya nahawa (based on her papsmear)? Panay na nga kulit nya sakin to make love kasi sabi nya never naman sya nagkaroon..sa tingin nyo po doc it's ok na to resume our sexual activity?

sorry for the late reply been busy the past week. based on your symptoms and what the doctor tried to explain is that you have otitis media externa. it causes tinitus and earfulness, possibly due to a infection nearby pedeng pharyngitis or even *** simple sipon ***. Its caused by buiild up of fluid in the inner ear..

DId your ent prescribe antibiotics?
Masakit pa ba hangang *****? sorry its march 7 na and your complain was on march 3 pa ^^

My advice:
1) Avoid cleaning your ear specially *** inside part with cotton buds, just clean the outer area. Cleaning your ear regularly just increases your risk of ear infection. im sure your ENT advised this to you.

2) Do Eustachian Tube exercises. this helps clear out fluid stuck inside the inner ear which causes the pain and tinnitus that you feel.

This is done by pressing and closing your nose, then swallowing repeatedly for 30 secs the resting for another 30 secs, then repeating this for 5 mins about 4-5X a day.

c> What do you do to relieve this pain?
D> How long does it last and what precipitates the attack?
e> Do you have any chronic illness such as hypertensoin or heart disease or have a family history of the diseases

Well being a doctor is kinda public service so i try to help out as much as i can..

I would like to know a few details:
1) Ever since 2005 meron na bang wart? or did it really just start 2 yrs ago?
2) Does the said pimple like protrusion hurt in any way or is it painless?
3) does it change in size, shape or color?
4) Did your neurologist do a biopsy on the wart?
5) During intercourse with your wife wala naman instance na nag bleed or it was pain ful?

My opinion is, its very rare to develop your own immunity with HPV, even though exposed ka lagi. Im not saying its impossible pero its just unlikely. if it realy is genital warts and youve had it for quite sometime your wife is really really lucky for still not acquiring any type of wart or lesion. my suggestion is to repeat a PAP smear just for a second opinion with a different OB, and if still negative and normal then suggestion ko is get a HPV vaccine for your wife para *** sure.

Hi Doc!

Why do I always sneeze everytime kumakain ako ng canned foods, noodles, powdered juice, tinola (no msg), paotsin, fried chicken (fast food), some palabok and many other foods? Am I allergic? or mahina lang yung respiratory system ko?

Minsan kasi kumain ako ng palabok sa mall and konting subo lang non-stop na yung sneezing ko and other people were actually looking at me na kasi namumula na ako and naluluha na ako... This is the first time na nangyarin sakin yun.

What kind of doctor should I consult my issue to? I want to know what are the things I should do to prevent that incident to happen again.

hi po ok lang po yun...un pa b yung sinasabi nila na parang gumagalaw pag nilalagyan nila ng air pressure yung tenga ko?saka yun nga po pag nakahiga ako mas dinig ko yung tinnitus pati po ba headache un din ang cause?at hilo?kailangan ko po ba talaga ng hearing test?xenxa po dami nanaman tanong

Yup un po *** ttnry explain sayo ng ENT mo. and yes otitis media externa or otherwise known as fluid stuck in the inner ear can cause headache, tinnitus, earfullness and dizziness. Do the eustachian tube exercises it will really help.

For the hearing test its your option, but most likely youll get a normal result.

Its seems u have food allergy. The only thing common sa mga sinabi mo na food is preservatives. some people do have allergies with preservatives artificial coloring etc. I suggest you visit an allergologist if ganyan ka grabe ang symptoms mo and if a lot of food triggers your said allergy.

In the mean time avoid eating food which you think masy contain artifical flavoring or color or food preservatives. You may take Loratadine 10mg tablet once a day when these attacks occur but this is only a temporary remedy, You would need to seekan allergologist para malaman talaga ang root cause of it.

I'm actually avoiding processed foods (corned beef and meat loaf), salty food and fast foods as much as I can... Dami kasing hindi magandang nangyayari sakin everytime kumakain ako ng mga ganyan like nahihilo ako, irritated yung throat ko and non-stop sneezing.


I'll be consulting this to a allergologist just like what you have said. I just want to know what is really happening to me.

hi po doc,

1) I really am not sure kung '05 pa meron na but my last recall was about 2 or a year ago coz my pinilit ako tirisin nun coz i thought pimple sya pero wala lumabas na white/black heads and instead nag-bleed lang sya (due to tiris siguro) and eversince nandun na sya..
2) painless naman po doc *** protrusion..
3) hindi naman po nagbabago (size,shape, color)
4) hindi na po biniopsy ng urologist kasi maliit lang naman daw and he said it's not really that important to conduct a test coz hindi naman daw delikado sa male unlike sa female so purely ocular lang ginawa nya..
5)wala naman po to both of us..

i was just thankful na rin dahil it so happen siguro na malakas talaga immune system ng wife ko coz hindi talaga sya basta-basta nahahawa ng sakit from me man or anybody else at the same time very hygienic din **** un esp sa private parts nya...

un nga din po ang pinagtaka ko bakit nag-conclude *** OB nya na meron na daw nagsisimula wart sa wife ko (upon occular inspection on her genitalia), hindi muna nya inintay *** result ng pap smear na nirecommend nya, baka kako *** nakita nya is folliculitis lang or just something else...ganun na nga po plano namin, maybe after 2-3 mos paulit namin *** papsmear and have it checked by another OB..

nagpa-vaccine na po sya a year ago po ata pero di nya nakumpleto *** shots coz of financial reasons, may kamahalan daw ksi *** vaccine...baka po meron kayo alam na murang complete anti-hpv vaccine..

yup your wife is really lucky wala syang warts na acquire. I really would suggest the vaccine na makumpleto nya. how many shots ang na recieve nya? when was the last time naturukan sya. how much was it per shot? I could give you a discount if you want sa vaccines. if your in the manila area ^^ haha

thanks po ulit..we're from antipolo po doc medyo malayo sa manila..anyway naka-isa lang po ata sya shot (taken mid-09 daw po), kung di po ako nagkakamali 3 shots supposedly un 2.5k daw isa..so doc kung may katagalan na ang 1st shot most probably uulitin ang boung 3 shots?

hi doc, jsut a question. paano ba ang procedure kapag ikaw ay mag dengue? kasi 1st day naranasan ko ng masakit katawan ko. masakit ulo ko. masakit ang muscles and joints ko tsaka masakit din ang muscles behind my eyes.. i feel that this is a dengue pero ang pinagtataka ko sinat lang naman ang mayroon saakin. not really high fever. do i really need na magpa confine na sa hospital? kasi iniisip ko at least namomonitor ako ng mga doctors doon. right now ang iniinom ko ay paracetamol.

Have you tried taking pain medication? it seem to me its just a simple case of costochondritis, inflammation of the muscle, tendons and ligaments of the chest area. Common ito sa adults in your age group lalo na if active ang lifestyle mo. A ct Scan is not needed. A simple ECG would suffice

Dengue fever is really hard to distinguish from your average FLU or viral infection, Usually Fever ng dengue is biphasic, meaning Mababa sa umaga, Biglang tumataas sa gabi, and it usually is 39C pataas. Unless Meron nang case ng dengue sa lugar nyo, i think its too early to get confined. Wait 3 more days then get a complete blood count with platelet count and get it checked by your local doctor

hi new lang ako dito ask ko lang pano makakasure na panis attack ang nararamdaman ko.sabi ng pscyche ko meron daw ** panic attack at nagtake ako ng gamot yung rivotril effective pero yung anti deppresant ko di ako sigurado.at di ko rin sigurado kung totoo sinasabi niya its been 2 yrs nako nagtake ng gamot niya pero nakakaramdam pari ako.nawawala lang kapag nakainom ako ng rivotril. eto yung mga simtomas ko= hilo,dighay ng dighay,madaling ako pulikatin,kumikirot mga katawan ko pati ulo ko pati likod ko,di gano makahinga,kalahati ng katawan ko minsan malamig minsan naman mainit,pagnaglalakad ako feeling ko lumiliko ako.hirap na hirap na ako di ko na magampanan trabaho ko.ubos narin kayamanan ko di naman biro magpacheckup sa pscychiatrist e.hope you help me
