Let me start of by introducing myself
Im Doc Tanjol A resident physician at Family medicine..

I made this thread cause i wanted to help out people na may quiestions.. but when i browsed thru some topics ang dami na tanong na nag ooverlap.. nahihilo na ako haha.. anyway ill try to answer questions in this thread to the full knowledge i have..

hi po....ask ko lang po di po ksi nila matukoy ang prob ko lagi akong nahihilo at ngayon my sakit na din ulo pero tolerable naman po...may panic disorder din ako at almost 3years na ata akong nagstop ng meds kasi akala ko ok nako...pero nalilito po ako kung ang nararamdaman ko ngayon dahil nagrelapse ako o dahil may prob talaga ako nacheck napo ako di ako anemic,ok ang vision at ears ko

Can you please elaborate more sa "hilo" mo? is it parang umiikot ang mundo? or parang lutang na feeling?

When you say "lagi" as in 24hours ka po nahihilo? or nawawala **** sya? what triggers and relieves you from this said "hilo"

Yung panic attacks mo how bad is it dati? what triggers these attacks>? what meds did you take?

***** po mga 2-3x a day sumusumpong pero seconds lang ang tinatagal,wala po akong meds for hilo,may times na nahihilo ako pag nasa labas ako...like namamasyal...minsan di ko na alam kung anu nauna *** hilo ba o yung attack ko...noon po grabe yung p.d ko na pati paglabas ng bahay di ko kaya at kapag alam ko na may lakad kami for example ngyon may lakad susumpungin na ako nyan...at may nanotice pa kasi sila....di po pantay ang face ko....sabi ng mama ko mga 8 ako nun ngstart to....dati ksi ngkadengue ako...mga 4days ako sa ospital paguwi ko ayun po tabingi na daw ako...pero as years go by unti unti syang nabawasan...pero may konti pa din po at lately napansin na yun ng doktor....at siguro din po may mga 1 week na on and off yung tension headache ko dati po nag xanor ako for panic..nag serenata din pero pinastop ko nung ngbuntis ako noong 2007 ayun po sana ok *** paliwanag ko

Hi Doc,

Tanong ko lang po sana. Nagpa Vaccine ako ng Hepa A and Hepa B. Ang last shots ko this February pero umalis na ako sa company namin so kailangan ko pang kontakin yung dati naming doctor. Kaya lang nag aalangan ako kasi may kamahalan yun Vaccine nya kapag kinumpara sa presyo ng Mercury Drug. Ngayon ang tanong ko po ay, sa last shots ko pwede ba akong magpa Vaccine ng Hepa A and B na iba yun brand kesa sa unang naturok sa akin? May effect po ba yun? Thanks

@nervioza im thinking that stress related ang attacks mo and it can also be psychologically triggered, meaning ket wala talga hilo your mind expects you na mahilo kaya you feel this sensation. Regarding the pagkangiwi ng face.. You probably sufered from ____________- which is an infectoins which affects the facial nerve, it affects all age groups and precedes a viral infection in which ur case probably dengue, in some cases nagbabalik sa dati ang face pero in some cases may residual talga. I dont think that it has anything to do with what you are feeling now.

I suggest you consult your neurologist/psychiatrist regarding the said panic disorder so that neccesary medication would be given

Naka ilan shots ka na po ng hepa B? usually Hepa A is a single shot ***, while Hepa B is three doses given at 0,1 and 6 months or 0,1,2 months if highrsik ka.

Regarding your question the answer is no. so its ok for you to buy another brand which is cheaper.. may i ask how much ang singil sa company and how much ang price sa mercury?

Hi Doc,

Yun Hepa A - 3500 isang shot. Two shots po daw. so another 3500. I think sa Mercury mga 2K++

Yun Hepa B- 2K++ isang shot. Final shot ko na rin this Feb. sa Mercury mga 1K++ lang

@ jeune its ok to buy it na *** sa mercury just have a licensed nurse or doctor to inject it to you.. or if manila area ka i can give you those vaccines for a lower price haha ^_^

hi po me again...na notice ko po my slight dizziness pa din ako kahit may meds na ako..yung hilo ko po ay kahawig ng parang hihimatayin.at sumasakit pa din yung batok ko pero hindi daw ako high blood di din lowblood.tapos pag sumakit yung batok ko,di ko na alam kung ano ang nauna ulo ko ba ang unang sumakit o batok.nahihirapan po ako idistinguished, sensya na po makulit kasi worried talaga ako sa mga nararamdaman ko eh bata pa po ako,cinnazirine ata to yung gamot ko,factor po ba na nauntog about 4 yrs ago nauntog ako sa cabinet,medyo malakas sa may bumbunan,medyo nahilo nga ako that time.factor po ba yun ng mga nangyayari sa akin ngayon?o talagang nagrelaps ako sa p.d ko?sensya po talaga

Hi Doc,

As ko lang po.. may nararamdaman akong parang mga tusok-tusok or kurot sa tyan ko lower right abdomen.. pero di madalas, nag pa-check nako sa possible na pwedeng pag mulan.. Urine,stool at ultra-sound ng bladder at kidney oks naman lahat as per sa doctor.. tapos heto sabi nya dapat daw ako mag pa colonoscopy....

question wala po bang gamot na pwede ipa-inum muna sa kin bago nya ako sabihan na mag undergo ng colonoscopy? sabi baka daw chrohn's disease...

Hi Doc,

I have 2 health concerns:

One is about my body temperature. I have noticed that usually I do have body temp rangingever from 35-36 degrees Celsius. Whenever, I hit 36.5 I felt that I'm having some fever or flu... Can you still consider this as normal? BTW, I always experience excessive chills whenever I'm inside a fully air-conditioned room.

My another concern is regarding my mental lapses... Most of the times I have difficulty memorizing anything... even a three digit number... More so, I can't remember the names of the people I haven't met for more than 3 months ... In there's this one situation where I even forgot my name (I was filling out a deposit slip in a bank)... I've been experiencing constant mental blocks... and I do find it so difficult to concentrate doing a specific task... What bothers me lately is that I even forgot to put some detergent on the washing machine and it really frustrates me a lot... This condition of mine gets worse through time even I get enough sleep and proper nutrition. I am thinking of visiting a neurologist.. Shouldn't I? FYI, I'm only 22 years old....

Please Doc enlighten me...

Nope wala na kinalaman yung pagkauntog mo nung 4 yrs old ka. if your taking cinnarazine na pero may kunti pa rin hilo, in my opinion pwedeng part pa rin eto ng P.D. mo in where ang manifestation ay worried ka na there might be some medical condition na medyo malubha na hindi na ddiagnose. My last question is when your doin something you like or when your busy nahihilo ka din po ba? for example when your hanging out with friends, when in the parlor?. I think nahihilo ka when your idle and then you remember na you have a slight hilo then your body makes it worse than it already is.. medyo magulo explanation ko pero you get my point.

how old are you? male or female? If youre young and active, and normal ang UTZ, urinalysis and stool exam theres no indication (in my point of view) to perform a colonoscopy. Unless meron kang Caucasian blood line tsaka *** tayo mag coconsider ng crohns. In my opinion thats Musculo-skeletal pain. Try taking simple Anti-inflamatory and muscle relaxants like mefenamic acid and apply warm comprees on the area 4-5X a day for 5 days.

Thats really quite a problem u have their. pero both of them can be explained by one condition. before i tell what it is ill ask a few questions pa (I wont tell you yet, kc if i do you'll look it up in the net and magiging biased ang answers mo haha)

have you recently gained weight?
Do you lack energy most of the time?
Do you lack apetite?
Do you find yourself sleepy most of the time
Decreased libido?
Constipation?
Frequent muscle pains?

You already have 2 important presentation of the disease which is
cold intolerance and memory loss.

doc about 4 years ago po yung pagkauntog ko not when im 4 yrs old.mas lamang po yung times na nafe-feel ko yung hilo ng grabe at madalang ang times na kapag busy or may kasama ako na sumumpong ang hilo.Pero Ngayon po Im worried kasi yung back ng ulo ko mga 1/4 na kadugtong ng batok ko (pero hindi buong batok)sumasakit kahit hindi ako highblood at di din ako low blood..kailangan ko po ba pumunta ng neuro?

xenxa na po may nabasa akong thread at medyo may attack ako now lang po...takot kasi ako sa nabasa ko yung aneurism tama ba spelling ko?anyways...kasi nga po madalas sumasakit ang batok ko pero hindi buong batok at likod ng ulo ko sino po bang doctor ang dapat kong puntahan asap?
