Maganda ba ang BS Public Health? not as a pre-med course..

Marami bang job opportunities sa BS Public health? at..kung marami nga, ano yung mga iyon?

Nagiisip pa rin kasi ako kung UPM-BS Public Health ako or UST BS Pharmacy ang kukunin ko..

magkano ba yung reservation fee? sayang na sayang ba yun kung i-cancel mo yung slot mo at hindi mo ma-refund? kasi kung gusto mo talaga sa UP, and your parents would support you naman then why not cancel it?

I agree with what you said ate luna. Do not think of the "sayang naman yung reservation fee" muna.

Meron naman. Sa research and academe, health policy, rural health programs, pharmacy companies at hospitals din. Sabi nila PH is the equivalent to medtech in other schools.

@dun sa nagtatanong kung may uniform ba sa UPM o wala:
The College of Arts and Sciences students have no uniforms. But the White Colleges do (white colleges: is an informal term for any of the med-related colleges in UPM, e.g. Dentistry, Pharm, Public Health, CAMP, Nursing)

Gusto kong lumipat ng campus pero di ako magpapalit ng course. May nakapagsabi sakin na pagkatanggap ko daw ng confirmation letter eh pwede daw ako magpa-wait list sa ibang campus pero di daw nya sigurado. Tanong ko lang kung pwede ba talaga yun at kung pwede, kailan ko malalaman kung natanggap ako sa gusto kong campus kasi kung sa May pa sasabihin yung results, baka ma-late ako sa pag-eenroll. thanks~

my UPG in the letter is xxxx

my name was not in the UPCAT website...

and there is a note at the upper side of the letter that states that I must submit deficient requirements before march 30, 2011...

does this mean that I am waitlisted?

Satingin ko po hindi waitlisted, kasi, marami sa mga kabatch ko ang waitlisted at pending, pero, even if pending or waitlisted ka, lalabas parin yung name mo sa site with **Pending Case or * asterisk lang, for the exact explanation, tawag nalang po kayo sa OUR ng UP

wait, you have your UPG in your letter?
if yes, that means you didn't qualify for a campus but you can apply for reconsideration in a campus where your UPG is within their cutoff.

UPCAT qualifiers don't have their UPGs on their admission letters.

I just got my letter today

I wasn't able to meet the cut off of UP Diliman and UP Manila (My choices), but I am qualified for UP LB

Sadly, I won't be pursuing UP anymore. Congrats to those who passed

the UPG was written but it looks this way: "UPG-xxxx" while the lang. prof., math, RD, and science have percentile...

What do you think this means?

Dalawa lang kami na may exact na UPG dun sa letter, yung iba ****.

@amazinglemzs: basahin mo muna lahat. sigurado naman na nakalagay dyan kung anong gagawin mo eh. kung hindi mo parin alam, tumawag or pumunta ka na sa OUR.

@Cyan: depende kung anong campus kung saan ipapadala. Diliman, sa school; Elbi, sa bahay.
