up ko to, meron yung LG worth P8000, 3meters with free speedo goggles, nakakatempt pero im not sure sa quality..
trip ko yung d10 pero ok kaya siya?
yeah i heard d10 is ok...but we need proof...right?
we need to know base from the user's perspective.
Hindi naman line ng LG ang digital cameras.
The test I posted should be more than enough to convince that D10 is the best out there even if it's not the best looking.

Here's the best review i found in the net while looking for one myself.

Panasonic lumix won overall. It did not beat the sony TX5 on the quality of shots though but overall including durability, panasonic wins. Maganda pa since may silicon jacket for the camera. Yung sony tX5 can be easily scratch specially when exposed to sand. I specially like the underwater mode ng lumix.
If trip mo for scuba, may housing din na nabibili.
Anyway, check the link out para may idea ka. It has infos and sample video as well as shots for each underwater camera.
Chapters sa link na yan:
* 1. Introduction
* 2. Fujifilm FinePix XP10
* 3. Olympus mju Tough 8010
* 4. Panasonic Lumix DMC-FT2
* 5. Pentax Optio W90
* 6. Sony Cyber-shot DSC-TX5
* 7. Quality of pictures and movies on dry land
* 8. Summary
D10 maganda noon but old school na. Bulky in a way also. But now it is cheaper compared sa new cameras nayon so you decide which one do you like also if budget is concern. Wala yung D10 sa review.
thank you for the links commoner and mackygoof
any thoughts on any olympus waterproof cameras? maganda din yun.
Dalawa na ang kilala ko na may Olympus "waterpoof" camera na pinasukan ng tubig.
In addition to the poor image quality even during normal/daylight conditions...
I would get a Sony, Panasonic or Pentax underwater camera first before I buy an Olympus.
I still have my old aqua pack from Sony for my W series. I have used it quite often and it holds pretty well.
It is definitely bulky (I travel very light) inside your luggage.
The camera itself is fairly decent. W90 if I can still recall. I could've bought a new digital camera but I don't use them as often as I want to.
My next could be Canon.
i bought a lumix ts2 last nov. used it sa bohol tour namin
to include on snorkeling. i was more than satisfied sa performance
ng lumix ts2. one thing is it failed a bit on low light condition
shots.but generally, the digicam was better than i was expecting.
no regrets buying this digicam.
the battery last for an hour of taking video.the free 4G card
is okay but i upgraded to a 16G card since i'm more into entry-level
videography.
My friend has one olympus (not waterproof) but with underwater housing. So far ok naman. For housing, some of the time error din ng gumagamit. Pero if the camera is really waterproof without housing, then kasalanan ng manufacturer.
Yan din maganda sa waterproof camera, kapag napasukan ang underwater housing, at least hindi pa sira ang camera. hehe.
its already an underwater camera, so why do you need to put an underwater housing anyway? underwater camera should serve its purpose...
anyways, if i will buy an underwater camera it should be good bought underwater and dry land. i read from an article, Canon D10 hit it on top on this category. any thoughts guys?
lumix vs d10?
so guys anymore inputs, napapaiip na tuloy ako para sa bohol/cebu trip namin haha
If functionality is the most important criteria for buying a camera, the D10 is the best choice out there.
If design and size is more important, then you need to look at other brands.
okay ang canon d10, our family have been using it for almost 2 years na .sa kl namin binili kasi mas maraming freebies dun tsaka mas mura compared sa atin.. review built as a tank talaga shockproof maganda yung image quality, kaya lang masyado bulky pero maganda ang kuha pag underwater .. sulit na sulit kasi lagi namin dala sa beach tska out of town .![]()

12.1MP vs 14.1MP? 1.1 fps vs 1.8 fps? 190 g vs. 188 g? 480p @ 30fps vs 720p @ 30fps? So what more can D10 have than Lumix has to offer best?
If you are comparing lumix TS1 to D10, for me D10 wins in my book. Ft2/TS2 pero is really hard to compare.

"The Canon seems to shoot most photos at F2.8 so depth of field is working better with the FT2 at f3.3. The Nudi photo has not been as focussed with my diving partner's camera, a D10. In this respect the FT2 is better but I have taken it off underwater scene mode and set it up in the normal mode so I can speed up the shutter. In underwater scene mode, shots were taken at very slow shutter speeds causing fish to be blurred. Normal mode set to max iso 400 and minimum shutter speed of 1/60 second. I took about 5000 photos underwater last year with the D10 and so far about 750 this year with the panasonic. Trying out the video but a class 6 sdhc card is required to try all possibilities. I have one on order. The friends D10 is now kaput as corrosion internally has broken it. I tend to believe it was a canon fault as both our cameras are washed in fresh water straight after diving. Hopefully the FT2 wont have the same problems.
I'm very happy with the Ft2 but wouldn't recommend the Canon at this stage. "
Anyway, it probably depends on your budget and purpose.
D10 seems to be cheaper pero ayaw ko bulky. Mas magaan din ang lumix than D10. For me i would choose lumix since my budget can accomodate lumix and for underwater, i usually go fishing and diving than snorkling or swimming at beach. Since mas smaller and lighter ang lumix, mas masaya ako sa kanya dahil ang bag ko madaming lead sinkers even small difference is a must. HD world na din nayon and i want my videos to be HD quality specially when diving.
Checking sa net, may nagsasabi ok ang lumix, meron naman din nagsasabi ok ang D10. You won't regret buying either one of them since they are one of the top underwater camera to date. Maybe next year may mas maganda pa pero who knows.
Walang tigil na pamimili. hehe.
