Faithfully brings to afternoon viewers the tremendous dramatic talents of seven
of the networks ‘ most promising and talented actors and actresses – Maxene
Magalona as Stella Quillamor, Isabel Oli as Megan Briones, Vaness del Moral as
Dina Carvajal, and Michelle Madrigal as Luchie Trajano, introducing Isabelle Daza
as Misha Villar with Marc Abaya as Kevin Quillamor and Mike Tan as Perry Escano
– as they headline the newest Kapuso drama about love, treachery, sacrifice, and
vengeance.

Completing the powerhouse cast are Migs Cuaderno, as Miggy Quillamor,
Jamaica Olivera as Shelby Quillamor, Victor Aliwalas as Dan Belmonte, Will
Devaughn as Luke Gallanosa, Kevin Santos as Edjie Miranda, Timmy Cruz as
Gloria Mariano and Ms Chanda Romero as Amanda Quillamor.

The series tells the story of Stella, a poor lady who strives to earn an education
despite the meager earnings of her family. Through help og her childhood friend,
Luchie, Stella lands a job as a cashier in her flower shop. Her she will meet Misha,
an events organizer and one of Luchie’s closest friends. The three ladies will get
along together and develop a special friendship. But Misha’s socialite friend Dina
abhors Stella because of her status.

Things get complicated when Stella develops an admiration towards Kevin,
the boyfriend of Dina. Stella keeps her feelings a secret but Dina immediately
suspects her intentions. Dina’s anger towards Stella intensifies every time Kevin
defends Stella.

But Dina is not serious about her relationship with Kevin. She still plays around
and Stella discovers her unfaithfulness to Kevin. Stella tells Luchie and Misha of

Dina’s infidelity. Kevin learns of Dina’s secret and he immediately breaks up with
her. Because of this incident, Kevin and Stella become closer and he will realize
that Stella would make the perfect wife.

She barge into the Pinoy showbiz scene via a splash when she was pick as the main leading lady for a GMA primetime telenovela more than five years ago. Gifted with one of the most beautiful face to grace local showbiz and a competent acting talent at hand, many predicted that she would soon bloom as one of the premier leading ladies of local showbiz in the near future.

Alas, after the telenovela SUGO her showbiz career seem to have gone stale. She did starred in some movies and other telenovelas in the following years, but those projects were not enough to move her career in a forward motion and they were mostly just supporting roles. There were also times when she seem to have gone totally under the radar , leaving fans wondering what happen to her. Later it was then revealed that she chose to stop taking work for a while because of the need to concentrate on taking care of her ailing father. A gesture that endeared her more to loyal fans.

On the road to a comeback, she was then reunited with her SUGO leading man Richard Gutierrez for a remake telenovela of a popular local superhero character Captain Barbell. Unfortunately the comeback vehicle was not much of a help. Her role in the TV series was pretty forgettable and Captain Barbell was actually panned by the viewers. Within three months the show was off-the-air leaving her fans again wondering what and when will be her next project.

Isabel Oli is not an exceptional talent, but her acting skills, beauty , good manners and attitude towards her work are more than enough to at least give her another chance. One that can enable her to move to another level in her career. So what is wrong with Isabel’s career? Why is she at least not given projects that is suitable for her. She did show a lot of loyalty to the network by staying with them instead of transferring to another upstart network. She is also one talent who does not seem to get involve in scandals and intrigues on a regular basis. It puzzled me that such a potentially gifted actresss is actually wasted because maybe she is not one of her home network favorites.

On the part of Isabel , maybe she should also take some more drastic action. Sometimes a talent need also to gamble a bit to get the attention of their mother studios and the general public. I know that she have that real sweet image but I strongly feel that it’s now time to actually let it go. She always seem to be seen as just a pretty face, but many believe she is more than that.What I’m implying is that is it might actually be a good idea to actually show local showbiz that not only does she have one of the most beautiful face but probably one of the sexiest curves as well. It does not mean that she have to go for sexy roles now, it only means that she should be seen more as a woman. A complete package that will make her more flexible and more in demand.

As of now she is concentrating on doing hosting assignments. A job that she is actually doing pretty well. The good news is that after a long wait by fans she finally has an upcoming afternoon telenovela this coming July. Here is hoping that this TV series finally provides the breakthrough in her career that she has been hoping for. Fans have been praying for this for a long time and she deserves to be seen where she can shine the brightest.
