To lose weight. I used to be obese and I'm scared that if I don't do anything about my sedentary lifestyle, I'd go back to being obese.
A more important objective though is to have a healthier and stronger body. I always had this feeling that I'm a physically weak person and I want to change that.
Last is to boost my confidence. I'm quite confident when doing talks and presenting but when you put me in a beach, I'd rather stay at the sides and listen to the waves. :P
the secret to losing weight is eating sensibly and exercise-the main reason why I go to the gym 4-5x a week.

short term goal: stress management, for bar review. i need to have some physical activity. otherwise, going through 8-10 hour study sessions and lectures everyday would be harder than it already is. trust me, i've been there. and ang hirap kaya mag-aral during the summer na ang init na nga tapos ang taba taba mo pa.
long term goal: for my health na rin. both sides of my family have a history of heart disease, diabetes and cancer.
i think it's a good measurement of how fit a person is since when you run, the sagging and fatty body areas are very obvious.
