Is Jojo been set aside for the nth time
^^ Not true![]()
Kung gusto nila si maliksi, pwde ba si thoss sa Ginebra?
If ever na totoo nga ang rumor na iyan. Maliksi going to ACES for whom....?
Let me guess??
Aces won't let THOSS to be with other Team.
Aces has a 1st Round Pick, Baracael and LA Tenorio.
Papayag kaya ang Aces dito:
LA Tenorio = A. Maliksi or,
M. Baracael = A. Maliksi or,
1st Round Pick = A. Maliksi
Do we get first pick? The lottery was held earlier, wasn't it..
EDIT: Oops, huli na pala ako sa balitaSecond pick it is.

JOAQUI TRILLO: Sana next time
bago magkaruon ng draft
lottery, deadline na ang draft
application. You know what I
mean?
It's a sad state of affairs on the part of the PBA when a team governor laments a rule that has been there for more than 20 years already because of the present conditions prevailing.
I wrote about this sometime May, and my biggest concern was the statement coming from Junmar Fajardo's camp that he won't be joining the PBA draft if there's no guarantee that he would be taken in by the SMC Group. I felt that the deadline for application among freshmen to the draft should come in before the draft lottery owing to such a statement.
But we have to remember that the Fajardo statement was precedent-setting. There have been several instances in the past when a most likely top pick would be taken in by a team that he doesn't prefer to be with - and yet, we didn't hear anything from him. In 1993, Jun Limpot would have opted to play for San Miguel (his mother team in the PABL) or 7/Up (where his mentor, Derrick Pumaren was coaching) but ultimately ended up with Sta. Lucia. In 1996, Marlou Aquino would have preferred joining the Realtors since this was his team for several years in the PBL but didn't fret when he was drafted by Ginebra. Kelly Williams has always wanted to play for Chot Reyes and San Miguel because Reyes "discovered" him and that he was part of the Magnolia team in the PBL. Despite this, Williams was the primary reason why they won their second title in 2007 against Purefoods.
It's sad because the rules would eventually have to change once more to prevent similar occurences from happening. Imagine in the future the likes of Greg Slaughter, Bobby Ray Parks, Kiefer Ravena and Jeron Teng saying "I'd pass up on the draft if there's no guarantee I'll be joining this team..." This is a recipe for chaos and disaster as once more, only the more privileged and richer teams will benefit from such.
The good thing is that Air 21 ended up with the top pick of the draft, thereby ensuring Fajardo's entry to Petron. I can only imagine how frustrated Trillo would be if they got the #1 overall pick but couldn't get the 6'10 beanpole center. Me thinks the strategy was for Alaska, assuming they got the #1 pick overall, to draft Fajardo and then make him a trade bait to Petron to acquire key players like a Jay Washington. But since this didn't transpire, Alaska would simply have to settle for second best in Hodge or Ellis.
It's not good to see a rookie somehow "hostaging" the league by telling them to shove it up their respective "behinds" if he can't join his preferred team. It's not only precedent-setting but worse, it will embolden other rookie draftees to do a similar thing just to be able to join the team of their preference.
re:coach
try din kaya ni WSU na magcoach.. One time nagcoach na siya noon para sa team. Won game pa.
