Wow, I've never seen so many NON-Alaska fans in this thread before!![]()
hahaha. for the sake of pin. the fantasrds of other teams are cheering for our dying team. WTF is happening.
THE PBA is really disbanding. LOL
BYE ALASKA. HELLO CEBUANA LHUILLER
happy for coah tim, kaso medyo nasaktan ako ng konti lang naman nung sinabi niya eto:
“I have never in my life seen a crowd like you. Never,” Cone told the crowd.
“I try so hard to concentrate in the game, but when you yell, when you roar, I can’t concentrate anymore, I get goosebumps. It’s incredible even now.”
yun lang.. just saying my sentiment's here.
I kind of raised an eyebrow too when he said that, because I could've sworn he said something very similar during our last championship...but, oh well.
He has moved on, let's move on as well. He and Alaska have benefited from each other. Let's leave it at that.

i hope Alaska bounces back this Governor's cup. go Alaska.
Congrats to Tim Cone! Buti na lang umalis siya sa Alaska kung hindi di niya makukuha 14th championship niya. He will beat the record of Dalupan. He is the best coach of Bmeg. Congrats to JDV too. Great decision of leaving Aces. Laki na sweldo, champion pa! Saan ka pa!
Aces fans, in case you didn't hear....
@thepbaologist
Heard 2012 Govs Cup will begin May 20 at the Ynares in Antipolo w/ Alaska-RoS, Petron-Powerade games.
I think Jayr will be traded to Espinas. Not sure though...we'll find out soon enough. BTW, Alaska won in a tune-up game versus BGK the other day.
Some tweets by Coach Luigi about the Jayr-Gabby trade:
"We will miss JR. Good player but even a better person. We had 3 centers. It made sense to get a natural power forward n gab. Balanced lineup."
"Meralco wanted JR. We had an abundance of bigs. Trade was mutually beneficial. Sonny Sam and jr was like Kerby Ping and Joe before"
@SM3rc3 @luigitrillo u got a hell of a player. Love that guy GREAT teammate!
@SM3rc3 Thanks Sol. Gab is a beast! He balances our line up and gives us that agile post forward. Elated to have him join us.

Gabby will be instrumental in guarding the 6'5" imports of the coming conference. He's already fully recovered from his injury. One more trade in the offing.
Well, that's a very interesting trade. I liked the way JayR played last year in the all-Filipino cup. We did have an abundance in center position but if we had to give one, I would have wanted to get rid of Eman. But I guess Alaska needed to trade someone better to get a better player in return.
I hope Gabby will mix it well with our players and system.
this trade isn't surprising. Reyes hardly got to play last conference, and chances are, the same thing will happen this coming one if he was still with the team. this is reminiscent of the Hugnatan trade wherein the conference before he was traded, Reynel hardly played. and let's face it, Reyes is a max player, just like Hugnatan was. they're probably preparing for the draft as well. plus, they need an import defender. so....two (or three) birds with one stone!
seriously, i think it's a fair enough trade, my beef lang siguro would be the age disparity, Reyes being only 27 or so while Espinas is 30. first time we have an energy guy, a poor man's Hatfield or Pingris, if you will.
can't wait for their first game!
