Nice fight on Sunday Viloria-Segura. I hope Brian pulls an upset.
Masyado syang tinatamaan.
Amir King Khan has fallen, Mayweather just lost one good excuse, How's Malignagi doing now...?!![]()
I watched it live at Ynares this morning and it was a pretty exciting fight! Pati yung mga undercards maganda yung laban. Brian's improved lot. He's gaining some skills. He was in and out and a lot of the times Segura was just walking into his punches. Segura looked like he didn't have breakfast this morning. I just couldn't figure out why the ref suddenly stopped the fight when Segura was still fighting back.
Hmm I'm torn on the Khan Fight. Siguro kung walang minus from the ref, panalo siya by a narrow margin.
wow I didn't know Viloria fought Donaire before on amateur level.

its nice to know that Donaire's next fight might be at the Alamodome this coming February, I definitely won't miss that
I cant believe this was the same RJJ I used to be such a big fan of back in highschool and college. It was not even reminiscent of the RJJ who got schooled by Calzaghe. He looked Flabby, parang sa McDonalds sya nagtraining. The fight venue was like in some parking lot behind a tittie bar. And to my surprise this guy alexander hasn’t won his last 6 fights! Its painful to watch an ATG like Jones to be taking fights like this. I wonder what it will take for him to finally hang it up. He will win some insignificant world title siguro against another bum at most.
RJJ could/should have been one of the rare ones to retire undefeated, like the case in most boxers, he's sticking out too long, he and his record is just plain eyesore now
^^RJJ in the 90s looked like superman. Sayang lang na yung kasikatan nya was overshadowed by all the hype that was going on in the heavyweight division. Sayang din that when he was at the top of his game, he started fighting bums and mediocre competition. Cant blame him though, nagkataon lang na nung time na yun wala talagang legitimate talent sa LHW division. Parang ngayon sa Heavyweight. He moved to heavyweight division and challenged a weak title-holder then went back down to LHW again. Who could blame him? Lennox would have smashed him as good as he was. Kaya lang when he came back to LHW at may legit contenders na, he was just never the same again. And sadly, RJJ will stick around unless he gets seriously hurt.
Sabi nga the best thing about the fighter mentality is also the worst. They don’t know how to quit.
I hate seeing RJJ like that as well. Man, that was a thing of beauty. Iniikot pa ang kamay lol
I always liked RJJ lang, pero kung may criticism lang ako sa kanya eh nag-rely siya masyado sa reflexes and speed niya, so unlike, say B-Hop, hindi siya tagumpay sa after-prime niya. B-Hop has the better basics if I may say so myself.
B-hop is where he is today largely because he lived a very disciplined lifestyle which is almost second to none. Look at his physique it almost hasnt changed for nearly 15 or 20 years. Sure his power has declined, but his knees and conditioning is still that of somone in his early 30s.
B-hop has zero vices, never smokes and never drinks. Hed go to the kitchen and talk to the chef to not marinate his steak with wine. He never stays up late, not even on christmas or new years eve. There are no lavish post-fights parties and champagnes too.
RJJ on the other hand now looks flabby, now. Like his muscles look like they are gonna just slide off. And its no secret that RJJ partied all the time like a rap star
^ But more than that, B-hop has, I daresay, better Boxing fundamentals(watch and compare) that's why it helps him use his experience in the ring. I do like RJJ, and I didn't care for B-hop much, but the latter is more sound and doesnt depend on speed and reflexes...the old dog uses boxing skills coupled with experience and we have an old fight who isn't as old as he should be.

Floyd Mayweather Disses Oscar De La Hoya & Victor Ortiz in New Video Posting
In a new video uploaded and posted today by Floyd "Money" Mayweather Jr., which features himself, rapper 50 Cent and another rapper, "Machine Gun Kelly, the boxer and his Money team are having a blast.
During the newly posted video (which is provided on this page below for your viewing), "Money has plenty to say on an assortment of topics. However, when he mentions Victor Ortiz and Oscar De La Hoya...that's when the classic dissing that "Money" is famous for, comes out. Let me tell you, when it came to talking Oscar De La Hoya..."Money Mayweather was anything but easy on him.
Here are some excerpts from the video (Please note, the video has a lot of swearing and is not ideal for work or children).
On Victor Ortiz: "You know I had nothing against Victorio Ortiz, but I am saying kids, "You're playing with the boss', " They say what level this is?'.... I say this isn't level 10, this isn't level 100...it's level Pluto."
On Oscar De La Hoya: "De La Hoya wanted it, I kicked De La Hoya's asss, you know what I am saying?! He on crack, he dressing in drag. But you know me, no tattoos, no pierced ears, but I kick asss though."
Press play on the video and hear and see it all.
