    Miss You Already Update

In "Miss You Already," Collette and Aniston would play lifelong best friends who help each other face the biggest challenges of their respective lives as one battles breast cancer and the other prepares for the birth of her first child while the baby's father is away on business. Collette is negotiating to play the latter character, who's the more reserved of the duo.

Williams wrote the script with Morwenna Banks, and Chris Simon is producing the dramatic two-hander, which will shoot this fall in London. The Weinstein Co. just picked up Williams' "Song for Marion" for domestic distribution and is planning an awards push for the film later this year.

Collette is currently working with Anthony Hopkins on the Los Angeles set of Sacha Gervasi's "Hitchcock," in which she plays the "Psycho" helmer's fiercely protective longtime assistant. Once she wraps that period pic, the "United States of Tara" alum will segue to "The Way, Way Back," in which she'll play the young protag's mother and wife of Steve Carell's philandering character.

Collette was last seen in DreamWorks' "Fright Night," and she next stars opposite Michael Sheen in "Jesus Henry Christ." Aussie thesp has also reunited with her "Muriel's Wedding" helmer P.J. Hogan on "Mental," which co-stars Liev Schreiber.

Collette is repped by WME, United Agents, Shanahan Management and attorney Deborah Klein.

Fashion Magazines See Little Newsstand Love in March Only 'InStyle,' 'Glamour' manage increases By Emma Bazilian
    May 08 2012 | The Press

In January, when most of the major fashion and beauty titles reported ad page increases for their key March issues, the industry was looking forward to a sunny spring. Unfortunately, everything isn’t coming up roses. March newsstand sales aren’t matching up to the magazines’ strong ad numbers, with many big titles declining more than 20 percent versus a year earlier, according to publisher-reported numbers in the Audit Bureau of Circulations' Rapid Report.
Blake Lively’s blonde tresses failed to work their magic for Elle, which was down 25 percent to 221,800 copies. Marie Claire, which chose Eva Mendes for its March cover, dropped 22.9 percent on the newsstand with 202,300 copies, while Lucky, reporting sales of 140,000 copies, saw a 20.3 percent decrease. Kim Kardashian’s ability to make tabloids fly off the newsstands didn't help Allure, whose March cover featuring the ubiquitous reality star sold just 117,495 issues, down 28 percent.
Also down by double digits was People StyleWatch, whose sales of 435,000 copies marked a 13.6 percent year-over-year decline. Despite the debut of its flashy new redesign, featuring a larger trim size and cover girl Gwyneth Paltrow, Harper's Bazaar was also unable to increase newsstand sales, hitting 134,500 copies—a drop of 5.9 percent. Though also down, Vogue fared slightly better. The fashion bible sold 435,000 copies of its March issue, off just 2.5 percent from the previous year.
However, March wasn’t all gray skies for fashion titles. The month’s big winner was InStyle, which managed to sell 777,000 copies—up 16.8 percent increase—and proved that cover girl Jennifer Aniston still has a firm grasp on the title of America’s sweetheart. Also having success was Glamour, whose March issue featuring Amanda Seyfried marked the debut of the magazine’s redesign. With 436,393 copies sold, Glamour was up 1.3 percent year over year (not 9 percent as reported last week), and according to early estimates from Condé Nast, has continued to see positive growth in its April and May newsstand numbers.
Although not a major newsstand player, W magazine saw a significant bump in single copy sales this March. The oversized title, whose dual covers featured fashion icon Kate Moss, sold 28,000 copies—a more than 21 percent increase over the year prior.

Exclusive: Jennifer Aniston Will Play a Stripper in Rawson Thurber's We're the Millers

It had been rumored back in April that Jennifer Aniston was circling Rawson Marshall Thurber’s (Dodgeball) new comedy We’re the Millers, reuniting her with her Horrible Bosses co-star Jason Sudeikis. Now we have word that it’s official. Aniston has signed on; Sudeikis is on; and it will be shooting in North Carolina this summer.
We’re the Millers, which was written and will be directed by Thurber, is about a slacker low level drug-dealer (Sudeikis) who decides to do one more job. He is forced to travel to Mexico and create a make-believe family in order to bring 1,400 pounds of marijuana into the U.S. He does so by renting an RV and assembling the fake family from stoner neighbor kid who is intellectually disabled and a sassmouth stripper (Aniston). It’s kind of like National Lampooon’s Vacation by way of The Hangover by way of the darker sensibility of Horrible Bosses. I’ve read the script, and it’s fantastic. It’s gone through a few iterations; most recently, it had John Morris and Sean Anders (Hot Tub Time Machine) attached, and Will Arnett, and Steve Buscemi have been attached as leads at some point during its development. Last year, it had Jason Bateman in the lead role, but he’s since been replaced by Sudeikis.
The role will also allow Aniston to continue her comedic departure away from straight romantic comedies, taking advantage of her success as a nymphomaniac dentist in Horrible Bosses. Also, Jennifer Aniston and a stripper pole is a combination most heterosexual males could agree with.

    Duplass, Kingsley attending 'Convention'

Jennifer Aniston circling female lead in quirky sci-fier

    By Jeff Sneider

Mark Duplass and Ben Kingsley are attached to star in Paul Schiff Productions' quirky sci-fi comedy "Convention," while Jennifer Aniston is circling the pic's female lead.
Commercial helmer Justin Reardon will make his feature directorial debut from a script by Christopher Painter. Paul Schiff ("Rushmore") will produce with Tai Duncan ("Tenure").

Set at a national box convention, indie pic will star Duplass as an inventor who unveils his latest creation: the five-sided box. The mysterious new design initially seems perfect, until the inventor learns that each time he creates its special fold, he rips a hole in the space-time continuum. It's up to him and his sister to put things back together and save the world.

Aniston is circling the role of Duplass' sister, though she hasn't officially committed as producers haven't settled on a firm start date. Kingsley is slated to play a legend in the business who buys the five-sided box and nearly brings down the world.

CAA and ICM are co-repping pic's North American distribution rights.

ICM-repped Duplass, who currently appears in Lawrence Kasdan's "Darling Companion," next stars in Alex Kurtzman's DreamWorks drama "People Like Us" and the festival favorites "Safety Not Guaranteed" and "Your Sister's Sister," both of which he exec produced.

Kingsley recently starred in "Hugo" and can currently be seen in "The Dictator," while Aniston, who recently toplined Universal's "Wanderlust" with Paul Rudd, is slated to star in New Line's comedy "We're the Millers" and Dan Schechter's adaptation of Elmore Leonard's "The Switch."

CAA reps both Kingsley and Aniston, who are also respectively repped by Independent Talent Group and attorney Rick Genow, and Brillstein Entertainmnent Partners and attorney Craig Jacobson. Reardon is repped by ICM and The Arlook Group, while Kaplan/Perrone reps Painter.
