To be fair mayroon naman isang team na loaded din yun line up (Cebuana Lhuiller(former bench players Mandani and Nabong are star players ng blackwater and 5 players promoted sa pba)) kaso underachieving (dahil ba sa coach)

Wala namang problema dyan basta ba kung isang libo ang ginastos, isang libo din ang balik. Kahit na 800-900 tatanggapin parin. Wag lang sana na sa isang libong ginastos, 500 pababa lang ang kapalit. Dyan nabu-buryong ang ibang mga team owners. Not unless sin-lalim ng Cebuana ang mga bulsa nila.

si kirk, hanggang role player lang. si sudan, at 6'7 - 6'8, is an instant impact player who could destroy the parity in the d-league.

Parang yung mga hypocrites who are calling out SBC for having foreign players maski may foreign players din sila. Hindi naman daw kase dominant yung foreign players nila kaya okay lang. Yung sa SBC daw kase dominant kaya bawal. Hehe.

I wouldn't have any idea, sir. Did he?? If its true then sayang naman. He's still kinda raw and a little bit more seasoning under coach Louie would've done him a helluva lot good.

RnW kasi was pressured to win. Walang pressure naman ang Jr Powerade kahit na their players are also playing sa Filoil.

Although nami-miss ko yung old PABL/PBL, medyo OK na rin para sa akin ang D-League kahit palipat-lipat sila ng venue ng games (just my humble opinion). However, sana mag-invite din ng more or less 3 foreign teams katulad ng ginawa sa PABL more than 20 years ago. But huwag naman yung powerhouse teams (US NCAA Division I, European ballclubs, etc.) dahil baka mag-dominate sila. Tama na siguro ang mga competitive high school teams from the US or 18-U/20-U national teams from Europe. At least, ang magiging competition sa D-League ay height (in favor sa foreign guest teams) versus experience (D-League teams). Parehong magbi-benefit. Way back in 1988, the PABL invited the U of British Columbia Thunderbirds, Samsung (Japan) and Pelita Jaya (Indonesia) to play. In fact, naglaban ang British Columbia at Samsung for third place. Philips Sardines (led by Benjie Paras) and RFM Swift (led by Patrimonio) faced each other sa championship. Thus, masasabing even ang naging laban. Hindi nag-dominate ang foreign teams pero hindi rin sila kulelat.

Magastos for the PBA to bring in foreign teams for the D League. The regular PBA conference nga, they haven't invited foreign teams since 2004.

Palpak ang lahat ng mga foreign teams the PBA brought in 2003 and 2004 kaya hindi na nagbalik ang invitational conference ng PBA.

and besides, kasabay na ng PBA ang halos lahat ng liga ngayon...where would you find competitive teams willing to play for a month or two here?

A team from New Zealand was planning to play here pero sabi nga ni Kume Salud, wala nang invitational conference dahil talagang magastos ito for the PBA.
