WB Shifts 'Gravity' to 2013, 'Gangster Squad' Now Set for September
*snipped*
Additionally, WB has now given Ruben Fleischer's Gangster Squad, which just debuted its trailer, an official release date in September - a rather fast opening after the trailer.
The big WB has now set Gangster Squad, which stars Sean Penn, Ryan Gosling, Anthony Mackie, Emma Stone and Josh Brolin, for release on September 7th later this year. That means it's playing against The Cold Light of Day right after John Hillcoat's Lawless opens the week before. Good spot, I think it'll do well, and I think it looks badass, I can't wait to see it. Warner Bros also slightly shifted Beautiful Creatures, their forthcoming adaptation, up two days to open on Wednesday, February 13th, 2013 (the day before Valentine's Day), instead of its original Friday opening that week. See the 2013 release schedule for more.

He seems to prove himself more and more every day as the perfect boyfriend.
And yesterday was no different for Andrew Garfield, as he made himself useful to girlfriend Emma Stone in New York.
As well as holding Emma's dog while she said goodbye to her mother, Andrew also toted his potentially future mother-in-law's luggage out of her temporary abode, before bidding farewell to the older woman with a big hug.

Ganda ng speech niya sa MTV Movie Awards 2012!![]()

It was great!

The Amazing Spider-Man's Gwen Stacy gets the love of the Hollywood Stars Steve Carrell, Mila Kunis, Jason Sudeikis and yes, even Jim Carrey. Again.
Jack Sparrow - 6/4/2012
The main female role in The Amazing Spider-Man was the first-ever honored with the MTV Trailblazer Award, during the 2012 MTV Movie Awards on Sunday, June, 3rd.
The 23-year old actress Emma Stone was clearly touched and could not contain tears during her acceptance speech. “Thank you, I’m a crier,” she said. Here's a full transcript, or watch the videos of the Hollywood stars giving Emma Stone loads of love and her emotional acceptance speech below:
“So, I looked up the actual definition of trailblazer, and it means someone who blazes a trail to be followed by others. And that’s an honor to hear you’re being associated with a concept like that".
“But the only thing I can hope that an award inspires is originality,” Stone added, “because the trailblazers I’ve looked up to and been inspired by are people like Gilda Radner and Bill Murray and John Candy and Charlie Chaplin and the Beatles and J.D. Salinger. Lorne Michaels, who reminds me the importance of comedy, and Cameron Crowe, whose work consistently reminds me of why I want to be an actor.”
“Those people are my creative trailblazers, but I’m not following any of their paths, and what’s incredible about them is they help make me want to be more myself because they’re all originals,” she said. “And I hope that you’ll find your trailblazers. And, trust me, I do not need to be one of them. I probably shouldn’t be one of them,” she laughed.
“But that you’ll continue to harness your own originality and what makes you unique 'cause I know that when you’re a teenager — sometimes when you’re an adult — what sets you apart can sometimes feel like a burden and it’s not. And a lot of the time, it’s what makes you great. So I kind of sound like I live in a van down by the river right now".
“But I am deeply touched and grateful for this,” she said in closing.
It seems that our new Gwen Stacy indeed learn one thing or two with our friendly neighborhood Spider-Man after all, eh?

And yung tribute video sa Trailblazer award, super funny, fave ko yung kay Mila Kunis hahaha! Parang totoo lang. And may Leno interview pala sya. Hindi ganung ka-funny, nevertheless, compared sa part ni Chris Hemsworth, it was way entertaining.
She looked flawless in her Vogue cover. But I hated her outfits in Japan.

Emma Stone talks The Amazing Spider-Man
by Myk McGrane on June 13, 2012 · Comment
emma stone amazing spider man Emma Stone has taken part in a new interview where she discusses her role as Gwen Stacy in The Amazing Spider-Man. The actress touches upon what drew her to the role, taking part in action scenes, and Gwen Stacy and Peter Parker’s relationship.
Via Flicks and Bits:
For me, Gwen Stacy is a bit of everything, she’s a very well-rounded character. How do you see her personally?
Emma Stone: She does do some really important saving in the film, but I think there is an element of her being a damsel in distress, ultimately. Which is what I will argue in the whole scheme of things, when knowing the full story of Gwen Stacy, she does have those elements. I find it hard to sit here and say, “She’s just badass, she knows she’s strong, she knows what she’s doing,” because it think that it’s very important that people know that people are not just that way. There’s also being stupid in love (laughs), making decisions that make you get in the face of danger. She’s all of it, she’s a very well rounded “superhero girlfriend”. She doesn’t just fit into a box of being just strong and just smart. She’s also got elements of being in distress, being scared, vulnerable, and terrified in a lot of senses. She’s kind of all of it, which is even better. She’s human.
What was it that drew you to playing Gwen Stacy in ‘The Amazing Spider-Man’? Playing this character in the Spider-Man world that has brought about so much debate.
Emma Stone: I felt pressure once I was cast, I was like, “Oh boy! There are a lot of opinions.” I was really freaked out (laughs). But I tried to stop reading message boards as soon as possible so that I could just do the best I could do. I had just known the Sam Raimi trilogy, then folders, erasers and backpacks with Spider-Man on them, that was the extent of my knowledge of Spider-Man. But learning the story of Gwen was just so amazing. It’s tragic and epic and I just immediately wanted to be apart of it. And the fact that people unsubscribed to their comic books and burned their copies, I was like, “Hell yeah!” It was like being into The Beatles in 1964 or something like that (laughs), when the parents were revolting. There was something in me that loved that stamp of pop culture. And what happens to Peter Parker ultimately in his relationship with Mary Jane because of what happens with Gwen Stacy. I really liked the whole story.
How did you find the physicality that a film like ‘The Amazing Spider-Man’ brings?
Emma Stone: Swinging and being thrown out of windows, things like that, they were all really fun because they required a sort of swinging motion – which I love! It’s great, I’m a rollercoaster fan, it’s all good (laughs). I didn’t really have to do any true physical *** kicking, it was more mental, Gwen Stacy’s a scientist so she’s great at concocting a serum that will help it all. But I had a lot of fun doing those things, it was great.
You can read the full interview here!
Marc Webb, ironically enough that is the director’s last name, is coming off the very well received 500 Days of Summer“. He was chosen by Sony execs for his unique and more importantly authentic take on young love, struggles, and an overall reality in the characters he deals with. Stepping up with Andrew Garfield (his actual last name) who actually looks like a high schooler and not a thirty year old. This is something I’m seeing midnight when it hits July 3rd, 2012.
