yes, it is needed.
The traveler was active; he went strenuously in search of people, of adventure, of experience. The tourist is passive; he expects interesting things to happen to him. He goes "sight-seeing."

Visa requirements to visit other country
http://touringbuddy.com/
Hi, has anyone here applied for a tourist visa to Ireland recently? How long is the processing period?
oo..duration ng approved leave of absence-kahit estimate mo *** ok na yun basta andun lang, date hired, contact number ng Hr. 6-8weeks Ang processing pro if ur sponsor is already a citizen, 3 wks nalang![]()
Is there anyone who has recently applied for an Irish visa? How long is the usual processing?
I looked for info regarding Irish Visa Application.
So I tried to research kung paano procedure ng application dito. I saw this website http://ireland.visahq.ph/ and tried downloading the application form from there. And saw that it was a Schengen Visa app form. Is that correct? I tried googling kung pwede pumunta sa Ireland with Schengen Visa and sinasabi na hindi pwede. Ano ba talaga. Naguluhan ang utak ko.
Also checked the website kung saan yung embassy dito sa Pilipinas. Nakita ko Ireland Consulate ang meron dito satin. Tapos yung Ireland Embassy nasa Singapore. Sa Ireland Consulate ba nun mapprocess application ko?
Anyone here na may experience na sa pag apply ng Irish visa? How was it? Please share naman. Wala ako masyado makita info dito sa forum. I don't even know kung with interview or non-appearance yung application. And I have no idea kun paano yung procedure and where do I start.
Oo nga pala, yung duration of stay na plan namin is 7 days lang. Do you think it's feasible? Just wondering, baka kasi maisip ng VO na hindi pa kami nakapag get over sa jet lag umuuwi na kami. lol… As of now, yun kasi talaga yung planned duration of stay namin. Since, one country lang vivisit namin and maliit lang naman. We intend to stay sa city center lang din and about 2-3 days lang to see the country side. As much as we'd like to stay longer, but we have work kasi. Although we're considering of extending our stay to a few more days depending sa leave namin. But as of now are plan talaga is 7 days.
Call the consulate. They're not as busy as the other embassies so there's actually a human being who will answer the phone. Ireland is not part of the Schengen agreement. As of last May anyway. We did not go through with the application because it was going to be another P7500 each or so.
I take it that you're going to Ireland without a sponsor? Sakin kasi,i was just invited by my cousin. So better check their official site for Immigration info about Ireland---- *inis.gov.ie*
and when ur ready, here's the link for the online application form*
--processing takes 6-8 weeks
https://www.visas.inis.gov.ie/avats/OnlineHome.aspx
just fill it out, then at the end ,there will be instructions as to where u wil send *the printed out forms (u need 3 copies of every document u hav including the online forms)
there wil be no appearance needed, ang interview ay sa immigration na sa Dublin airport pagdating moand simple lang din ang questions, basta't yung ticket mo ay back n forth na,you're sure to get stamped kagad.
all u need are your documents and fee for the visa application, nung january lang ,i paid P5,500 via manager's check for my tourist visa application
and all
u can call 8964668 to confirm f mgkano na fee ngayun.
if seven days lang kayo magvvisit, no problem, medjo sayang nga *** kasi they usually grant 2 months for tourist visa regardless kung ano nakasaad sa cert of employment mo *na duration for ur approved leave of absence![]()
by the way, Philippine passport *** gamit ko
desper8_hausgirl, thank you so much for the informative reply. I haven't called the consulate yet, will call later, mamaya pa kasi office hours nila.
gusto namin mag stay ng mas matagal. but yung kasama ko kasing aalis, I doubt na mabibigyan siya ng matagal tagal na leave from his job. yung 7 days ba, in your opinion, is it enough o bitin? Feeling ko nga bitin eh. hehe.
after mo sinubmit yung application form mo online, san mo sinubmit yung documents? did you go to the consulate at dun mo ba sinubmit, pati na rin yung manager's check dun mo rin ba ibibigay?
do you think mahigpit sila sa pagggrant ng Visa? Any tips?
Thanks so much![]()
Already called the consulate and found out that some of their requirements were Evidence of Flight & Hotel Booking. Talagang required ba mag book na agad, what if na deny ka. Edi sayang yung binook mo.
I hope meron dito na nagapply na ng Irish Visa, please share your experience. Thank you.
D na ako pumunta pa ng Manila to send my documents. I just sent everything thru LBC together with my manager's check. Then after 6 weeks, they sent me back my documents and yung visa nakalagay na sa passport ko
As of January this year, ito yung mailing address:
honorary consul of ireland,
70 jupiter street,
3/f Max's bldg, Bel-Air,Makati
Metro Manila
Philippines
Don't worry, makikita mo rin ang address (if ever it has changed) before u finish filling out the online form.
I suggest fill out mo na ngayun ang online form, anyway u have 30 days to submit it electronically.Pwede mo pa maedit as long as it's within 30 days and di mo pa naclick ang Submit button. You can *log back in anytime, just take note of your reference number. It will be the same reference number that you will be using to check online if approved or denied ang application mo after 6-8weeks of submitting your docs.
in my opinion di sila mahigpit.
Make *sure *** u hav big funds enough to cover your vacation kasi u will be supporting your own and wala kayo relatives sa Ireland, tama?
6 months bank statement needed rin.
Also, *make sure that your certificate of employment states the following: letterhead, company address, duration of ur approved leave, ur position in the comp and hire date, hr contact person with phone # *
*crucial ang COE kasi parang guarantee yun na d ka mag TNT kasi u still hav a job back home
I'm not sure how to go about the hotel
Booking kasi i was staying with a relative lang so they just sent me their photocopy ng lease ng bahay.
Kasi yung trip talaga nato for honeymoon namin ng husband to be ko.
