^ I think he is referring to barbell or dumbbell rows.. pwede rin cable rows

when he said "don't neglect your delts" he means focus on getting your shoulders stronger. Focus on overhead pressing since malakas carryover nya sa appearance and overal strength mo

Salamat ulit sir blake and strepsils

Tama nga advice nyo. Nag 3x5 na ako mas ok nga sa power.

Nasanay din ako sa dapat "pagod/sore". Pero ngayon natutunan ko na ang tama.

thanks sir blake, i think i should monitor my elbows. based sa second vid unconciously (di ko lang sigurado) during MP naiiba siguro postion ng elbows ko. initially i am doing it right as i see it, yung nga lang throughout the set hindi ko sigurado kung namamaintain ko.

  10. #90
^ I personally do not wear a belt. Pero I have strengthened my lower back, abs, glutes and hamstrings...

IN all honesty, thats one of the most stupid myths I have eer head na mababali likod mo kung di ka naka belt...

look for a picture of milo of croton. He was carrying a bull. Now compared to what we squat, malamang mas mabigat pa yung toro

^ very true. I wonder where that came from? but in fairness, I think the feeling of security and "self image of being jacked/tough/serious" coz of wearing a belt (and even gloves) can give added motivation in visualization.

I never use a belt either.

    coach advice lang..

para kasing sobrang bigat na ng heaviest deadlifts ko kumpara sa iba.. may kasama ding paranoia... cause i seem to be getting stronger but not bigger.. plus my chest is way more developed compared to my skinny arms na di halata na nag bubuhat ako.. lol

here are my current stats (heaviest):
    Bench : 135 lbs
    Squats: 155 lbs
    Military Press: 100lbs
    Dips BW+10
    Chinups: BW

    Deadlift : 195lbs

or normal lang ganyan? im 5'8 and 150 lbs btw

^ deadlift ko 240 lbs, di ko pa max yun, kasi 5x5 lang ako and i am only 5 5 and currently 136 lbs. di ko nasubukan amg max uli. i think normal lang yun. mas ok nga na mas malakas.

IMHO I don't think sobrang bigat pa ng deadlift mo... you're just paranoid...

if you're not getting bigger, check your eating habits

as for your chest-arm ratio.. I have some theories but until I see you lift in person, only then can I verify if my guesses are correct

Thanks coach blake. Isang beses ko lang natry uncomfortable tapos parang nakakailang.

Palakasin ko na lang deadlift ko para tumibay lower back.

Just a question. Two months na ako sa gym and I have made pretty good progress sa squat. Started at just 80lbs and now I can squat 170lbs. However, I'm worried sa deadlift ko because I can't seem to progress that much. I can deadlift 170lbs with proper form. I started at 120lbs I think. I can lift heavier than that if somewhere along the lift, I arch my back. From what I know, this is not the proper technique and this can lead to injuries. But I have seen videos where men deadlift very heavy but they arch their backs. So, is this okay? What should I do?
