15% tax what are the benefits on the company?

Why is it that those person earning huge salary usually managers, working at ROHQ should be taxed 15% and us regular employees the normal tax.

We cannot all earned huge salary and also be managers usually managers are few a company of 100 employees on an ROHQ might have 7 or less managers.

Isn't it that all of us must be taxed accordingly not some few persons enjoying this perks of 15%?

It is the condition of being an ROHQ, that those skills that are in NEED by the company will have 15% including managers

Parang agreement ito kasi ng government para mainganyo mga investors na mamuhunan dito sa Pinas.

tama po, parang hindi pantay sa ibang nagbabayad ng mas mataas na buwis. ganoon talaga ang buhay!!!

there is a new memorandum from BIR that in order for someone to be taxed 15% there are 3 conditions

    1. Your company must be declared an ROHQ
    2. You must be holding a manegerial or technical position
    3. You must earn 975000 pesos annual salary

these 3 conditions must be satisfied not only 2

these gives the managers usually the availment of 15% what is the advantage this tax shield will do to a company?

dapat pa la 75k sahod mo kada buwan para maging 15% lang ang tax mo. So
yung mga malalaking kita mas maliit TAX at
yung mga mababa kita mas malaki TAX

ksi i do not see anymore an a positive effect on a company that is labeled as ROHQ and yet only selected personnel usually managers are entitled to this 15% tax exemption

i really feel this is unfair..some employees particularly the managers will be taxed 15% and the rest regular tax...any comments?

    thanks

It's unfair but you cannot do anything regarding the law.
Ano ba company mo yung software company sa taguig, yung bangko sa Philam bldg or yung nasa taas ng market market?

The what level are you in? nasa staff level, senior level? or parang novice status (less than 3 years experience)

I think it is fair in some situations. In the company (ROHQ for the record) that I work for (I think it is also true in most) Managers are not paid OT and do not get incentives for working on Holidays (he mentioned no Night Diff too, but that I'll need to confirm [Night Diff is a big help]). So I guess in this case a 15% tax is fair. Our manager stays more than 12 hours and works on Holidays (which I think is normal for BPO companies which many are ROHQ), he stays because we are undermanned. Classic example of overpaid, underpaid. Props to our manager

For ROHQ employees, what positions can be classified as "technical positions"?
Does IT roles such as developers can avail this 15% preferential tax rate assuming na-satisfy mo un other tests?
