Timothy Bradley calls Team Pacquiao 'scared'
August 16, 2012 11:50am
Timothy Bradley has heard what everyone has had to say about his controversial bout last June against Manny Pacquiao, which is why he's itching for a rematch.
The WBO welterweight champ, who claimed that title from Pacquiao, said that he felt a lot of people on Pacquiao's side were "scared" to have the Sarangani congressman take him on again.
"He couldn't knock me out with two peg legs," he added, in an interview with The Desert Sun's Leighton Ginn. "Me, healthy, I'm going to beat him worse.
"If Manny wants to do it, let's do it. It's been a circus around here. I've been sitting around here waiting. I want the fight but he hasn't decided yet."
Bradley won a split decision, 115-113, 115-113, 113-115 versus Pacquiao, but a WBO panel later scored the Filipino fighter as the unanimous winner, 117-111, 117-111, 118-110, 116-112, and 115-113.
A report by the Nevada state attorney general however stated that no crime had been committed, in relation to the judges' controversial score, while Nevada Athletic Commission Executive Director Keith Kizer said that he was satisfied with the judges' decision, after undergoing a review with the trio.
The June 9 (June 10, PHL time) fight was held in Las Vegas, at the MGM Grand Garden Arena, in the state of Nevada.
Bradley came out the winner despite appearing in the post-fight press conference in a wheelchair, due to injuries to his right ankle and left foot.
This isn't the first time Bradley has expressed his desire for a rematch, in order for a more decisive result to emerge. Last June 21, he told The Desert Sun, "Let's do the rematch and settle it once and for all."
Last August 12, Pacquiao, in an interview on "24 Oras," said that he would have a decision as to whom he would face on November 10 in "five to seven days."

If Pacquiao is going to square off with Bradley this November i can tell you Mr. Arum and Pacquiao get your self another SUCKERRRRRRRRR.![]()
if Manny Pacquiao is fighting Marquez this coming November first thing he has to consider changing trainer. Roach is not going to take him anywhere but exactly the same boxing style he had before. They don't know how to effectively contained Marquez and Roach doesn't have the answer. Roach got paid handsomely but as a boxing fan i didn't saw any difference in the last three fights. we see same old shiiiit again and again . It's time for Roach to move over and let other trainer take over with excellent defensive style to trained Manny Pacquiao. Roach had nothing to give to Pacquiao beside collecting that big paycheck. I think Gerry Penalosa will be a good trainer, his biggest critic Emmauel Stewart, Robert Garcia or even Marvin Hagler trainer. No more Roach, please..

Pacquiao-Marquez 4 on December 8 almost a done deal
CARLO PAMINTUAN, GMA NEWS September 12, 2012 12:22pm
more: http://www.gmanetwork.com/news/story...st-a-done-dealAfter an extremely long wait, Manny Pacquiao’s next opponent for his December 8 bout will be named on September 18, and all roads point to a fourth match against his nemesis Juan Manuel “Dinamita” Marquez.
The two have fought three times in a span of nine years. They first tangled in 2004, which resulted in a draw. Their second bout, a super featherweight battle in 2008, was won via split decision by Pacquiao. Then in their fight last year, most people expected a one-sided beatdown in Pacquiao’s favor, but the fight was once again as close as the first two, this time with Pacquiao escaping with a majority decision win.
Pacquiao initially had four opponents to choose from, namely Floyd Mayweather, Miguel Cotto, Timothy Bradley, and Marquez. Mayweather was considered a long shot to begin with though, as the undefeated American was just recently released from jail. A potential fight against Cotto fell apart as the two combatants could not agree on a catch weight, leading Cotto to pick Austin Trout as his opponent for a December 1 fight date.
“We are very close to concluding the deal,” said Top Rank Promotions head honcho Bob Arum in an interview with Jon Saraceno of USA Today.
