Toni Gonzaga breaks up with director boyfriend?

Rumor has it that multimedia star Toni Gonzaga had broke up with her real-life boyfriend, Paul Soriano. Speculations grew stronger since Toni’s director boyfriend is quite busy of late.

According to sources, the two had been seeing each other less frequently.

Toni Gonzaga’s friend, Bianca Gonzales, said that she has heard of the news but she does not know where it came from.

However, Toni Gonzaga spoke about her alleged break-up with Paul Soriano on ABS-CBN’s Showbiz News Ngayon where her friend Bianca is a co-host.

Toni Gonzaga, Mariel Rodriguez start rebuilding friendship

MANILA, Philippines - Confirming reports that she and Mariel Rodriguez have resumed texting each other these days, TV host-actress Toni Gonzaga shared how the process of rekindling ties with her former friend started.

“She really texted me at first,” Toni said on “Showbiz News Ngayon,” Dec. 15.

Initially, Toni didn't know who sent her the text message because it is “actually just a number.”

“And then she said that it was her. Siyempre nagulat naman ako after na long time na no communication. Siyempre, nawala siya, bumalik siya. Na-shock talaga ako. ‘Yun ‘yung mga bagay na magagandang surprise siguro for me. Para gumawa siya ng way, bumati... siyempre naa-appreciate ko,” she said.

Though estranged for a long while, the TV host treasures the good memories she
has had with Mariel.

“Ang tagal naming magkakasama, eh. Ever since nag-ABS kami talagang kami na halos talaga... the highs and lows, from being single to double... talagang kami lahat ang magkakasama, eh. I guess we really have that kind of bond na ‘pag nawala, eh, hahanapin natin din ‘yan kahit papano.”

For Toni, the tiff with Mariel is a thing of the past.

“Hindi naman ako nagtatanim ng sama ng loob. Lagi kong sinasabi (na) my heart is like a fertile soil. So kung magtatanim ako ng galit magkakaroon ako ng puno ng hatred in my heart. Papangit ‘yung aura natin. Hindi tayo ngingiti. Mas maganda ‘yung lagi kang nakangit. So tinatanim ko lang ay good memories, good vibes para it’s a [source of] true happiness and positivity,” she explained.

In a text message to “SNN,” Mariel expressed her love for Toni.

“Always love Toni. Will always love her,” was Mariel’s message.
