nakakabitin yung prod ng LloydTin kanina .. akala ko hindi na matutuloy .. ang tagal kasi .. tapos akala ko gagawin na nila yung request natin na 'Di Na Natuto' .. ndi pala .. pero ok lang atleast may prod sila. Grabe ang pagtitig ni Lloydie kay ate Tin kanina .. ayyieee . Kamusta na kaya standing ng MAG .. kahit second week na madami pa din nanunuod. May possibility talaga na maabot ng movie yung 200 million gross .. at makuha na ni ate Tin ang BOQ title. Ang konti lang ng exposure niya kanina sa ASAP .. bakit ganun ?.

Akala ko rin di na matutuloy production number ni Ton and John Lloyd. Medyo na disappoint ako kasi hindi nila kinanta iyong "Di Na Natuto". I also felt Toni needed more "titig resonse" kay Lloydie. Parang si John Lloyd todo talaga ang pagtitig pero si Toni dine dedma lang. Parang masyado siyang nakatitig ng matagal sa idiot board . I hope Toni would watch her duets and improve on it and learn how to make more pa kilig on camera. Sana rin hindi nila lagi ginagawang pa comedy ang pag duet nila. Mas nakakakilig sana iyong a little more serious and sweet. I think their movie had a lot of drama in it and they should show that side of their team up too.

Mas type ko ang outfit at look ni Toni sa duet niya with Richard Poon than her look when she did her duet with John Lloyd. Sana iyon na lang ang look niya with John Lloyd. Mas sexy ang outfit niya with Richard Poon.

Its good Toni had 2 numbers naman today in ASAP. Nice that they promote her movie pa rin in ASAP and The Buzz. I love her dress in The Buzz. Really nice !

Anway, sana magtuluy-tuloy pa ang pagiging malakas sa box office ng My Amnesia Girl. Malalakas pala ang mga kalaban.

I think hindi makatitig si toni kay johnlloyd and vice versa! Kasi they only get the courage to look at each other whenever the latter is looking away! May something nga!! Basta meron silang titig na sila lang nakakaintindi! and sa duet nila ni loydi nako concious sya kay johnlloyd kaya di sya makatitig! Si john lloyd and at some point i think he was gonna kurot tin on the cheeks or poke her nose or something kaya lang humarang kamay ni tin! haha! and at the end kaya dinaan nila sa kulitan kasi may tension dinaan lang nila sa kulitan! i found it cute also when john lloyd kinda hid behind tin at the end!

Na-mention ni Toni yung theatre where I watched MAG. Ha ha. First screening time was 90% full, not bad at all considering that most viewers prefer to watch sa late afternoon pa. I’m pretty confident that it’s full later in the day. Unlike in Here Comes the Bride and Cinco, the theatre reserved for MAG is stadium type so I was pleasantly surprised that I can see the whole screen. The audience laughed on the funny scenes and was quiet on the serious moments. In this movie, Toni proved that she can do drama convincingly. She’s now on par with the drama stars of ABS. No slapstick comedy here or any of those bad acting habits you sometimes see on TV.

Later na lang yung ibang observations ko, installment eh.

How many actors and actresses of today can act? You may be filling up more than your fingers and toes in answering this question. However, if the question is how many of them can sing, host and dance as well as they act, this produces a different scenario altogether. You might just need five of your fingers or less than that even. Among these chosen few, there is a high probability that one of them is Toni Gonzaga.



Jack-of-all-trades Toni was not given the moniker Multimedia Princess for nothing. She can croon with her deep distinct voice, host with genuine mass appeal, and act with all the skill of a veteran. Most of all, she is also a natural and lovable comedienne.

Road to spotlight

Before Toni became the prized multimedia star that she is now, she, as many other aspirant artists, struggled in the beginning too. She started penetrating the industry at the age of 13 and achieved her biggest break only seven years later at a singing contest with Kyla and Faith Cuneta. Nevertheless, the wait was fruitful as it was upon that moment when Toni realized that show business would be her chosen career.

The singing contest led her to become a talent of GMA Artist Center which gave her the chance to be on television, albeit playing small roles. With undaunted will, she decided to become a freelancer and joined various auditions and VTR screenings for advertising to get more screen time.

Little did she know then that her decision would land her her next big break. In Sprite’s Magpakatotoo Ka ad campaign, Toni acted as the lead star in a 21 second commercial which propelled her to instant fame status. Remember the words “I love you, Piolooooo!” Still rings a bell does it not?

What many may not know is that Toni was not supposed to be the one who was to utter that memorable line. She was merely one of the supporting cast in that commercial, an extra if you may. What happened was that the original female lead failed to perform according to the director’s wishes. Luckily, the director saw Toni hamming it up in the background and decided to let her be the Piolo lover.

After the famous Sprite ad, the rest was history.

Multimedia stints

Toni was offered guest appearances in television shows left and right. She became a regular host in GMA’s noontime shoe Eat Bulaga before she transferred to rival station ABS-CBN where her hosting talents were greatly utilized. She became a co-host in the noontime program Wowowee, spoof news program Wazzup, Wazzup, reality singing contest Pinoy Dream Academy and of course, famous reality show Pinoy Big Brother.

As of recent, she is a co-host in the gossip entertainment show The Buzz alongside Boy Abunda, Charlene Gonzales and KC Concepcion. With a hosting talent that smacks of Ted Failon and Korina Sanchez spiced with a true Toni twist, there is no wonder why she was able to land the bevy of hosting jobs.

Aside from Toni’s hosting stints, she starred as the female lead in a number of movies such as You Are The One, You Got Me and My Big Love with Sam Milby, My Only Ü with Vhong Navarro, and her recent film My Amnesia Girl with veteran actor John Lloyd Cruz.

Toni also released five albums since 2006 and has produced hit singles such as We Belong, Catch Me, I’m Falling’ and remakes Kasalanan Ko Ba and I’ve Fallen for You.

It is undeniable that Toni has a great mass appeal and is probably one of the most likeable people in the show business industry. One of the reasons why this is so is because even before she entered the industry, she always had the inclination towards reaching out to people. Not many may know this of her, but she was once a Sunday school teacher in her town.

Budding fashionista

Aside from all her multimedia talents, it seems Toni is about to add one more. Toni is starting to become recognized as one of the stylish people in the entertainment industry having won the crown as the Most Stylish Comedienne in the recently concluded Star Studio Celebrity Awards. Her contenders for the award were Ai-ai de las Alas and Pokwang, two of the most brave and fashion forward ladies in the whole Philippine entertainment industry, Rufa Mae Quinto and Tuesday Vargas.

Always a vixen in her onscreen outfits, Toni’s secret is that she highly accentuates her best features such as her svelte frame and her envy-inducing legs. She also veers towards classic outfits with trendy twists.





Like most women, Toni considers shoes as a woman’s best friend. In fact, she has a collection of shoes by none other than Christian Louboutin! There is no doubt that she has an eye for fashion, showing an arduous inclination towards the coveted red-soled Louboutins.

My Amnesia Girl – Movie Review

When I first heard the news that John Lloyd Cruz and Toni Gonzaga are set to make a rom-com movie, I was a little bit disappointed because I was waiting for a follow up movie of JLC and Sarah Geronimo and yes, I am a fan and I am not sick and tired of watching them paired up But when I get to watch the trailer, Oh boy! I just can’t wait to watch the movie and get my daily dose of kilig and babaw laughter as soon as possible and after watching the film, two-thumbs up, I am very much convinced that JLC can be paired up to any actress, even amateurs like me Goodluck

[spoiler start]So the big question is: Will you ever forgive a man who left you in the altar? at the most awaited day of your life? the man you loved, the man who made you feel like you’re the most important thing that ever happened ever since chocolates.

Apollo and Irene is in the midst of a beautiful love affair, after Apollo asked Irene’s hand to marry him, such a cute way of asking a woman to marry him, by using a thread tied in her finger but when the time arrived that they are going to be married, Apollo run away from the bride, away from everything and since then, Irene never heard from him so she tried to forget and move on…But after years of covering up the pain and trying hard to live her life, Apollo showed up out of nowhere in a grocery, taken aback, Irene was caught off guard and don’t know how to react so, she feign amnesia. YES! AMNESIA! and told him, “na-aksidente kasi ako, nagka-amnesia ako..” and that is where everything started. )[spoiler end]

I actually love the script, well written, I love all the funny lines even though some would think it’s a little corny. The two main characters have the habit of throwing pa-cute, pa-sweet, funny little lines which are charming enough that you’d wanna memorize one or two of those little lines they have.

Just as the movie wants you to fall in love with both characters, I found myself fixated and in love with Toni Gonzaga too. I am not usually a fan of Toni Gonzaga, even before, I haven’t watched any of her films and this is the first time I have watched a film of hers, thanks to JLC, But her onscreen acting presence in this movie drives me back to liking her. Not only is she cute with those fashionista clothes she’s wearing (makes me want to wish that I have those long legs and slender built), her character’s personality complements her as well. Speaking of things that are really nice to watch, Beatriz Saw was also fun to watch, she has that “the main girl’s friend” chemistry perfectly executed; they’re BFF tandem here is really nice.

JLC’s character here, even though he did something really cruel to Irene, it makes you want to understand him, find ways why he did it, maybe he has a valid reason or something. I love the fact that Ketchup Eusebio is also part of the movie together with Joross Gamoboa, Carlos Agassi and more. It makes the movie more funny and light. Apollo’s character here is so lovable, he carried Irene around in the rain simply because Irene doesn’t want her shoes which was given to her by Apollo to get wet in the rain. I actually love that scene.

The chemistry between John Lloyd and Toni blend perfectly. Both characters have a very playful and witty sense of humor that makes for a great dramatic, comedic, and romantic interplay between the two.

I may be biased when I say, the movie is more than worth it and my 2 hours (less) plus the snacks were nice since it was a treat, but anything John Lloyd for me is all worth my time and money. Each movie that John Lloyd stars in surpasses the one before it–man! how perfect is he in his trade! Toni, too, made justice to her role as Irene.
