MARAMI nang napatunayan si Toni Gonzaga pagdating sa TV hosting at acting.

Kaya naman marami nang big projects ang ipinagkatiwala sa kanya ng ABS- CBN. Isa sa mga ito ang patok na Pinoy Big Brother. Kasama rin siya sa The Buzz, ASAP at ngayon ay sa Hapi Yipee Yehey.

Ayon mismo kay Toni, wala pa siyang balak magpakasal sa kanyang current boyfriend na si Direk Paul Soriano.

May balita kasing this year ay lalagay na si Toni sa tahimik.

Samantala, ang nag-iisang multi-media star ng Pilipinas na si Toni Gonzaga at ang nag-iisang solusyon sa pag-alis ng ugly marks, lalo na ng stretch marks -- ang ERASE Solution -- ay nagpatuloy sa kanilang magandang partnership sa taong ito.

Kumbinsido si Ai Ai na siya ang idedeklara na 2010 Box-Office Queen ng Guillermo Mendoza Memorial Scholarship Foundation, kahit sinasabi ng mga organizer na hindi pa sila nagbobotohan dahil idaraos pa lamang ang kanilang deliberation pagkatapos ng Holy Week.

Toni vs. AiAi as Box Office Queen

Toni Gonzaga is aware that her supporters are rallying behind her to clinch the Box-office Queen crown for the highly impressive gross of her movie My Amnesia Girl opposite John Lloyd Cruz which was shown last year. Prior to this, talks were rife that the Guillermo Mendoza Memorial Scholarship Foundation, Inc. has allegedly chosen Ai Ai delas Alas for the title because her Ang Tanging Ina N’yo (Last Na ‘To!) made a big killing at the tills when it was shown at the Metro Manila Film Festival last December.

“I think the MMFF has already aired their side regarding the matter. They said that it’s not true. They haven’t picked the winners yet. They still have to vote on that.

“It’s just that my fans believe that My Amnesia Girl grossed higher because it had full commercial exhibition unlike Ang Tanging Ina N’yo (Last Na ‘To!), whose assigned theaters were limited due to the MMFF season,” says Toni.

In spite of the issue, the talented TV host-actress reveals she’s got no problem with Ai Ai.

“For me, Ms. Ai Ai is the real Box-office Queen! No one can question that. She’s got a very good record at the tills. To be her chief competitor for the title is already a big honor for me. I hope the people would stop pitting us against each other.

“Honestly, it’s already enough for me that My Amnesia Girl was warmly accepted by the viewing public. I’m proud that it made big money. But I didn’t expect anything beyond that. I didn’t do the film to bag the Box-office Queen crown.

“If such honor will be given to me, thank you. If not, I’m already okay with the thought that I was able to make a lot of people happy with that film. I don’t want to stress myself. It will not make me less of an artist if I won’t be given the accolade.”

Toni understands why her fans are reacting this way.

“I guess it’s just normal for avid fans to support their idols. They want to see their idols receive honors. But as I’ve said earlier, it’s already fine with me that my movie made money. At least, we didn’t fail the expectations of our producers.”

Box-office Queen or not, the bubbly actress-singer just wants to entertain the public.

“I’m not saying that the title is not important. It is. But I believe that it’s not the be-all and end-all of my showbiz career. More importantly, it’s the people’s support and patronage that matters. It serves as an effective motivation and inspiration to better my craft,” ends Toni.

"Pati ako nag-aabang din dun," sambit ni John Lloyd. "Kung hindi maayos, kung hindi na malinaw ang kapupuntahan ng istorya, okay lang sa akin kung panibagong pelikula na lang. Basta oras din kasi. I think for 2011, parang wala pa yatang nakaplano."

Nabalita rin na magkakaroon daw ng Part 2 ang My Amnesia Girl, ang pelikula ni John Lloyd kapareha si Toni Gonzaga last year.

"My Amnesia Boy naman. Mahirap kasi sundan yun," may halong birong sabi ng aktor.

Kinumusta din namin kay John Lloyd ang matagal nang naka-lineup na pelikula na pagsasamahan nila ng Kanto Boys—with Luis Manzano, Billy Crawford, and Vhong Navarro.

"Ang alam ko, the last time I talked to Tita Malou [Santos, Star Cinema president], tuloy siya," pagbabalita ni John Lloyd. "It's with Kanto Boys and Toni Gonzaga. Kaya lang, dahil nga sa sobrang tight ng sked ng bawat isa sa amin, ang hirap pang isingit."

I like the idea about "My Amenesia Boy", why not? I think nabitin ang mga tao sa tandem ni John Lloyd and Toni sa My Amnesia Girl. Bakit kasi biglang nilang kinaCUT? Had they allowed that movie to continue, hindi na ngayon magkaka issue about BOQ at all. Quite unfair !

I think if John Lloyd and Toni will make a movie, it should be another light romantic with drama splash movie again . Dapat ang main characters silang dalawa lang. Although I also like the idea of Kanto Boys with Toni, I doubt if the other Kanto Boys will like to play smaller roles than Toni and John Lloyd.
