For you to get to Loboc from airport, youll need to avail a trike from airport then to Island City Mall and there ask someone that could give you directions for the jeepney going to Loboc, they are positioned or their terminal is just outside the Mall.

I first used this thread in 2007 to check what's happening in the Bohol Travel scene, now it's just full of ads. Maybe it will be more helpful if the travel agencies create their own thread or use the Travel Classifieds thread instead of using this thread.

hey guys, we'll be going to cebu this aug.31, 8am, but I guess will spend the rest of our trip in BOHOL, we'll be departing for Manila at 10:40pm.

Dalawa lang kame ng gf ko, and I've read some posts in this thread about some ads regarding tour packages. Will it be more practical? Will I still end up availing tour packages sa huli? I guess ang hinahanap ko is to be able to make the most out of our trip na di kame masyado na-hassle at syempre naka-tipid.

kung gamay mong mag motorcycle, you can rent one para pwede kayong maglibot kahit saan.
mahirap kumilos sa bohol ng walang sasakyan dahil una yung public transpo outside tagbilaran ay may oras at lageng puno.
palagay ko airphl kayo hehe, kita kits nlng dun.

tour packages? Okay, IMO there are no real tour packages in Bohol, you contact a resort and you contact a car rental and that's it. Do you want to do the countryside tour? Then contact a car rental who will pick you up from the ferry. Check the last ferry trip to Cebu as well. Depending on the operator, may nakita akong 6PM trip, I think that should be safe.

I have done DIY Bohol mga 6 times at least, depende kung anong klaseng traveller ka, pero sa akin excited ako pag nag arrange ng tour. May mga tao naman na ayaw mag arrange ng logistics.

Cebu - do a one day tour sa Cebu. Kausapin niyo na lang mga taxi driver kung san kayo mag hotel kung gusto niyo mag service, pero maliit lang Cebu City, di kyo mawawala. Okay din mag jeep

-Pede rin kayo kain CNT Lechon
-Larsian (barbequehan sa Gabi). Tabi lang Robinsons

Saan ba murang pero beach front na resort? Madami kasi kami 7-8 pax.
Last time na punta namin is DBR2. Medyo pricey pero maganda naman yung resort.
Maganda ba doon sa kabilang side sa Alona Beach? I think mas marami doon na pwede gawin since maraming bar at establishment doon unlike sa DBR side.

The only issue I have with Alona is that there's just way too many boats docked unlike in the BBC and Dumaluan area where you can have the beach by yourself.

Pros:
-plenty of dive operators
-several restaurants to choose from
-a bit of a night life
-cheap accomodations around esp non-beachfront
-may convenience store

But since youre going us a group, I'm sure youll have fun anywhere you may choose
