1.1 The Regatta will be governed by the ‘Rules’ as defined in The Racing Rules of Sailing.
1.2 The following will apply
• The ISAF Offshore Special Regulations, Category 3. Monohulls without liferaft. The
Offshore Special Regulations Category 3 Monohulls, are amended by the Race
Committee, so that under 3.29.1 in addition to a VHF marine radio transceiver, a
Philippine cellphone, Blackberry or equivalent shall be required.
• The International Regulations for the Preventing Collisions at Sea (COLREGS) will apply
between sunset and sunrise and will replace the rules of RRS Part 2
• The IRC Rules parts 1,2 and 3.
• The Cruising Handicap System, as administered by the Organising Committee
• The Notice of Race (unless amended by the Sailing Instructions)
• The Sailing Instructions
In case of conflict between any of the above, succeeding items take precedence.
