@jc_kito i got those seeds from ebay. i would have given some to you if there were any left. i hate that the last ones i had failed to germinate.

franz, i am thinking of growing strawberries hydroponically. may nabasa ako somewhere that you would need to chill the nutrient solution.
pwede na siguro yung small <100W chiller, then ventilate the plants using small fans... nice idea no? problema lang yung kuryente

@tqbfjotld thanks. hanap na lang din ako sa ebay

very nice idea, pretty freakin' expensive sa simula for sure. it'll cost you around like a small fridge. but if you can find the spare parts for one then malaki difference non cost wise, and you can use a frigde's thermal controls for cooling.

be careful though, you might freeze them. recommendation ko is to use a peltier plate. kaso d ko alam kung san makakakuha nyan locally.

before i planned on using a peltier plate for cooling my processor on my computer. was getting insanely expensive so i just opted for using watercooling lang, triple distilled water + lubricating non-electricity conducting solution, some fans and a radiator.

    peltier:

Cold plates are usually the best choice of thermoelectric cooling method when the object to be cooled can be attached directly to the cold plate. The direct contact between the object and the cold plate allows the heat to be efficiently conducted to the thermoelectric (Peltier) modules. This, in turn, keeps the system operating as efficiently as possible and improves the stability and accuracy of temperature control.

peltier plates for that purpose will be much cheaper in the long run to use for cooling, imo.

my strawberry plant from baguio is now dead. wah. =(

    stupid rain.
stop saying "stupid rain"... for that "stupid rain" that made your 1 or 2 strawberry plant die, it gave life to a hundred or thousand other plants somewhere...

i like rain, but i like my rain for my plants to come from my watering can. =D

can't control water coming from the sky.

my mint is naghihingalo, my rosemary dead, my sage dead, my pineapple sage naghihingalo, 3 tomato plants, 1 pepper plant, a few edamame, some asparagus (buti nalang nagsurvive yung iba), strawberry, thyme FROM SEED dead (took me 4 months to get it to a good size), sunflower seedlings, etc.

    andami kaya namatay.

    sorry reklamador ako.

dito sa malapit sa amin sa may highway may mga aratilis na tumutubo. gusto ko sana kumuha ng cutting, di ko lang sure kung kaya ko magpa-ugat

been wanting to buy chico, macopa and calamansi sa msbf. mahirap mag-uwi pag walang sasakyan.
