    ITDI-DOST Conducts Waste Management Seminar

To address the alarming environmental dilemma in our country, two representatives from Industrial and Technology Development Institute under Department of Science and Technology (ITDI-DOST) carried out a seminar with the topic “Instilling Environmental Awareness through Waste Minimization and Waste Management among the Learning Institutions and Communities” at the National-U Amphitheater, last September 21.

Engr. Rochelle Retamar and Engr. Angelica Celicious, both environmental scientists, discussed the proper handling and lessening of our wastes- be it residential, commercial or institutional waste. They also discussed and gave some tips and ideas on the three Rs - reduce, re-use and recycle, the practice of energy conservation and the effects of climate change and global warming in our daily lives.

The said seminar is a part of the project generated by ITDI-DOST in partnership with ABS-CBN Foundation Inc. that aims to educate universities around University Belt Consortium wherein National University is also a member.

^ teka how come you always promote National University (faculty, board passers, achievement, plans, etc) pero wala kang pictures? weird. if you promote NU the you'll also have pics right?

  12. #72
^As much as I want too but I'm not a rich student, can't afford ko ang high end cameras of some sort.

If you guys want me to post pictures. Give me a camera then.

    MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

naku sir/maam magagalet mga ateneo at la salle sayo kasi dinadamay mo sila. marami ako barkada taga NU at may mga digicam sila. you dont need to have DSLR or hi end camera or hi end cellphone naman. tsaka di yun ang point ko. wag ka magselfpity ok. now kung sobrang hirap ka why not borrow pics from National University admin para makapgpost ka dito diba? updated ka sa mga pangyayari sa NU so i should assume na you work there or youre studying there (or shareholder lol). my simple point is kung gusto mo ipromote National University, which i find very noble, eh itodo mo na at magpost ka pics para marami maengganyo di ba.

    Merry Xmas too.

^ Well, good for your NU friends kung may high end gadgets sila.

Ako kasi I would rather save my money sa school assignments and projects kesa maginvest sa digicam.

Besides, I remember that I posted the link of our official website kung gusto nila makita yung facilities.

For the Nth time, click this link if you want to see our new facilities:

    http://www.national-u.edu.ph/joomla/...d=97&Itemid=59
