^ Initially, 4 months. But because of the team's good showing in the Suzuki Cup, his contract has been extended for 1 year. But I read somewhere that he's in a "gentleman's agreement" to continue for three years, both to coach the Azkals and to establish a sustainable development program.

Simon is part of our Cinderella story.... Never been a general manger of a club to becoming the youngest coach in national level. Nobody asked him sa aff press prior the games then came the victory over Vietnam and the famous handshake now has many girl fans. Amazing!!!!

paano kaya kun si aris caslib pa rin ang coach? si caslib kahit may foreign based pinoys sa team nya kagaya ni henry brauner at prochnow hindi nya ginagamit - local ang mas preffered nya kaya aytun laging 4-0 at bulok ang laro.
tandaan nyo rin si norman fegidero? sumama loob ni chris greatwich noon kasi 2 foreign based pinoys lang daw tatanggapin nya - phil at james younghusband lang... lahat ng dadating ng 2 weeks before the tournament etsepwera! nagreklamo si chris greatwich. nangyari ito noon 2008 before the AFC Challenge Cup. first time din maglaro sa atin ni Neil Etheridge! si Etheridge muntik nang hindi makasali dahil kay Fegidero!
