but

MYPHONE > CHERRY MOBILE & TORQUE.

What on your thoughts about the triple sim phones of Torque and Cherry Mobile? Which one is better?

^ just bought my first dual sim TORQUE DX75
has qwerty, 3G, wifi, dual-sim, java. Ok naman so far but not not perfect. (coming from a Nokia)

Plan ko rin sana yang triple-sim kaso na isip ko na maybe it's good to have 2 phones just in case mawala yung isa or ma lowbatt.

But it's better to just have an extra battery than a phone. Though pag nawala yun, o nanakaw, wala na 3 mong sim :P

Rebrands ba ang tatlong phones na 'to? Do they use another name abroad? How come they're not popping up the cellphone tech radars or YouTube? Puro TechPinas write-ups lang?

they are really advertised as local phones. philippine made daw for local market. i'm not sure kung philippine made talaga o philippine owned but china made. they are intended for value-for-money market niche.

myphone is technically fil chinese made because the owner is also the owner of Solid group ( sony service center) bale chinoy sya ang factory ng myphone sa taiwan.kung mapapansin nyo ang service center ng myphone service center din ng sony ericsson phones so i give my phone my 2 thumbs up.
natry ko cherry mobile *** unang labas cherry P1 nakunsume lang ako ambilis masra muka syang laruan cute ayun, kaya parang laruan din in days sira na , pnabalik balik pa ko service center nila sa Pearl of the Orient bldg. hassle. ayun ako na nagsawa kapapagawa. bale 3 pcs pa naman yung binili ko. hindi man lang umabot ng 6 months.
so far yung unit ko ngayun myphone qtv20i and masasabi ko at par sya sa mga previous branded phone ko na natry. ( my first phone was motorola v2200 ata, then ug alcatel na korteng sabon, bosch na me cute na antenna, then nokia 3220 na nanakaw, then sony ericsson k530i na napakamahal magpagawa pag nasisira )

Turns out that a lot of Cherry and MyPhone units are rebrands of cellphone manufacturers in China and India like:

Spice
Micromax
Huawei

The better units are from Huawei like the hard to find Cherry Magnum HD which is the Ideos X6 originally.

We tried Cherry Mobile and Myphone for my staff's free phone from us, sirain, tapos hindi pa siya user friendly, nadala na kami, Nokia pa rin.

Bumili ako Myphone last January I don't use it for txt or calls tv, mp3, radio at alarm clock ang ginagamit ko

Had anyone tried to root yung mga Android phones ng Torque, CM at MyPhone? Naka-root ako ng isang Torque phone (I forgot the model), and I tried to get the hardware specs of it via command line. All I could say is decent naman ang specs nya, and cheap enough for us devs to have them as test Android devices for our apps.

Haven't seen MyPhone's Android phone, pero I heard the CM Androids ay mas mabilis kesa dun sa mga murang model ng Torque.

tw28 user ako, so far ok naman.. nagkacherry na rin ako dati kaso p1 lang, nagbiblink *** backlight. ilang beses na nahulog pero umaandar pa din.
