Would you quit your job if you're no longer meeting the targets/goals?

Would you quit your job if you're no longer meeting the targets/goals?

Say for example, you're working in a callcenter, and right now, you're not meeting the goals and sa tingin mo talagang mahirap talaga i-meet yung goals. Mag re resign ka ba?

Kung mag re resign ka, paano mo sasabihin?

Tapos, kung mag a apply ka sa ibang job, how would you sell yourself?

    just my opinion,

if you leave your job since you are not meeting your goals, you have 2 options.

    1. better yourself/team, know the problem why this is happening, dahil galing nadin sa post mo "mahirap" maabot yung goals pero hindi impossible. may solution yan.

    2. like you said quit, kung para naman sa dahilan ang tanging masasabi ko lang eh "di mo po kaya yung trabaho" dahil yun ang maiisip ng superior mo given the facts na di mo/nyo naabot *** targets.

para saken i think its better kung aalis ka sa job mo kung ayaw mo na gawin *** trabaho, may nakita kang mas maganda, or wala nang room to grow. for me quitting because of not meeting your targets is alittle shallow of a reason.

just my thoughts. everything else is up to you.

    Thanks for the input.

I'm already doing my best kaya lang di ko parin maabot abot yung target. Ang hirap talaga. I'll try using a different approach this week and i'll update this thread kung may improvement.

Shallow ba yung mag resign because di naaabot ang goal? Parang nakakahiya na kasi eh. Parang feeling ko pabigat ako sa team or kumpanya.

^ then you should ask for tips and help from your teammates
know how they reach their targets, learn their way and make it work in your own way.

with regards to resigning! its a no no! you don't want to look like weak, do you? i rather resign when i don't like my teammates than resigning because I can't do my tasks. besides they wouldn't hire you if they think you can't do the work. its all in your attitude

    just my thoughts

hi, i think i understand your situation. dumating ako sa point that i started working and i lahat ng gawin ko mali. i told my superior about it that i felt i couldnt fit in, i couldnt accomplish the tasks and i wish to resign kesa naman ifire nila ako. i told him na parang burden ako sa team, i'm the weakest link. he said that lahat naman dumadaan sa ganyang stage. and asked me to start over again and try harder. ***** i had no choice but to put my best efforts kasi mahirap maghanap agad agad ng kapalit na work, right? after that incident, gnun pa din, i still commit mistakes pero i tell myself that tomorrow i have another chance to do better diba?
i stayed with them for 3 years..
of course, if you feel that the company is not contributing to your growth, that's a different story. and a different stoy why i left.
If you transfer, during the interview they ask why you left and judge you for your reasons no matter what your reasons are. try re-assessing not just your everyday goals at work or personal goals. try to think the impact of your actions in the long run. hope it helped. good luck!

Thank you so much po for your tips.

    @Standard_Toaster,

Yun din ang iniisip ko. Yung ako na lang magkusang mag resign kesa i-fire nila ako. Nakaka depress lang kasi yung di mo ma-reach yung metrics ninyo. But thank you for your inputs, i'll try putting my best efforts and i'll see what happens.

    @ moneybreaker,

That's what i'm doing right now, I'm asking for tips. I'll try re-assessing my attitude as well. Hopefully, it brings out some positive results.

Thank you so much for your thoughts.

Don't quit basta, basta unless you have exerted all your best efforts.. and of course ng walang kapalit.
